Clive, I have SyncToy set to replicate new files and modifications, but NOT to replicate deletes. So, if I make a deletion from my primary SlimServer source drive, I have to manually make that deletion on the backup drive. That's deliberate, to avoid me accidentally deleting something on my primary drive and finding that the backup has done the same. It's fine. Also, I don't keep my backup connected all the time, so it's truly offline storage. Every now and again (or specifically after a few new CD rips) I plug it in and let the sync do its work.
