I agree with Radish. You husband has done a bit much to be changing at this point. I luckily changed fairly early on deciding to go with flac and mp3 for home and ipod. I ended up reburning about 150 albums. I just find it works better with more devices, program choices and for sound quality. Itunes just limits you too much for my tastes. If you end up wanting to go away from Itunes, Mediamonkey now works well with Ipods. I only use Itunes now for firmware updates. But as far your setup, if I were doing it I would rip the rest in apple lossless. Probably convert when needed to aac for the Ipod. The other choice is to use dbpoweramp or EAC to rerip but that's a lot of work. If he has more than one cd drive you can use multiple rippers with dbpoweramp but it still will be a lot of work. The advantage is he will have all his music stored in lossless for the future. Sorry there isn't a better answer. -- Nonreality -IF THE RULE YOU FOLLOWED BROUGHT YOU TO THIS, OF WHAT USE IS THE RULE.- HTTP://www.last.fm/user/nonreality ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nonreality's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15723 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51538 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
