But it will be such a subtle difference that I really don't care. - my ears won't get better - technology might - I guess the difference that technology will make will be absorbed by the surroundings. I think the reflections present in my living room are worse than any subtle change the mp3-codec at high bitrates will do to the material. Even the processors in AV-converters change the material more than mp3 at high bitrates (or do you turn of every effect ?).
