Nice picture Howard! Bluegaspode: you place consumers versus audiophiles. But personally I think it's much more general: consumerism versus quality appreciators.
I totally agree with Howard that you can learn to listen to music. It's a mystery to me that for some reason learning to listen is just a difficult concept when music is concerned, while it is accepted in other fields.
