The file name itself doesn't change unless you change it. But SbS/LMS
should be reading the tags (the file name is irrelevant).  UNLESS you
are accessing files using the BROWSE MUSIC FOLDER (which does use
filenames). But I don't recommend using this approach. By the way, you
can use CONVERT > tag to filename option in mp3 tag to clean up your
FILENAMES using the corrected tag data.  There are "masks" it shows you
that you can edit to make the filename match what you want (i.e., track
no - title or track no - title -artist, etc.)

I assume you are doing a CLEAR AND RESCAN in SbS after the changes to
the tags.

If the COMPILATION tag is not in extended tags it means that track
doesn't have the tag. If you want to add it, select all the tracks from
the compilation CD, then right click, select extended tags, click top
icon (page with star) with is add field. Then just type the name
COMPILATION in teh field name and put a value of "1" in the value box
(without the quotes around the one).
