Well, that's where we came in.  I think it would be reasonable-ish
to suggest that people run jackd and the RG sequencer suid root, at
least once we'd gone over the sequencer code a bit more closely for
potential vulnerabilities.  The GUI, though, no.

That's all very well, but we do want RG to be practical for people
who aren't going to start out by installing a special kernel for
high-quality audio work.  Me, for example.
