Things got a bit slow around here last winter, so I decided to see
what Qt5 was all about. I installed qt-5.2, and, after porting some
of my own Qt4 projects, decided to have a go at Rosegarden.

Many small changes, as one would expect; some not-so-small changes; a
genuine challenge or two; but no show stoppers. Rosegarden can be
updated to work with Qt5.

I don't see any advantages to using Qt5, but when it becomes
compulsory, it shouldn't automatically spell the death of Rosegarden,
which is what I wanted to verify.
