2) I agree that attitude of Govt servants is changing. 3) I agree that there is much more transparency in the chota - mota expenses of Govt. Since you are in the field you will know what I am referring to. If not I can explain. 4) Who is the privileged class? Today all of us in this group are 2nd class citizens. 5) Point 5 is debatable - if we look at the total expenses in terms of man-hours wasted due to RTI, diversion of skilled front line officers to RTI at cost of their regular duty - we may be surprised. RTI is good, beneficial etc - this is undeniable. But unless something drastic is done NOW the system is going to collapse and this tool will be blunted, and WORSE than USELESS.
