How important is the information to you Avinash? Is
the information also urgently required, that you had
to file an RTI Application?
If the answer to both is yes, pay the amount and get
hold of the information first. You can later file an
Appeal / Complain with the CIC/SIC and request for a
full refund along with compensation.
If the answer is No, file a complain with the CIC/SIC
pointing out the malafide intention of the PIO etc.
