Bill,
I've been a bit busy earning a living and driving my children around. I
did recently start
my SMM gondola that I picked up in Lowell. Yesterday, while I should have been
busy
modeling I played hooky and took off to see an interlocking tower that has been
preserved
as a museum in Norwalk, CT. Fellow S scaler Jeff English joined me in this
train riding (2
trains, 2 subways), train watching, lever throwing, art making, beer drinking
adventure.
On the way back through NYC, I had dinner with my son, now a college freshman
there.
(There's those darn kids again!) I do hope that this research visit will be
translated into
real, S scale modeling at some point in the future, but at the moment, it was
just plain
fun! I'll try to get back to actual modeling next weekend.
