Alex...There is an O scale product that might work for you. The
company name is Irish Tracklayer (I think) and they make exquisite
brass etchings of the internal workings of towers. Yep, they are a bit
oversize, but perhaps you can cut them down a bit. Worth a looksee if
you want to have a fully detailed interior. Since the etchings are
based on computer-generated artwork, it would not be hard to resize it
to S scale. All it takes is PAYING customers. Good luck...Ed L.
