Hey Rhett:
 I'm another former N scaler. You just have to tolerate the blarney on this 
list and get on with the S scale layout you want. I liked N scale and it's 
running qualities kept getting better. But I could't scratchbuild in such a 
small scale which is why I enjoy S.
 although I'm crazy enough to work on 1/200 and 1/350 ship models when I 
need a break from the trains.
