Hi Ken and all --

This week saw several things get done in the trainroom.

I finished the decalling of several cars. I found out that I still need
more decals! I also found out that I need some more styrene shapes before
I could paint and decal more hoppers...

I cleaned up the mess in the trainroom from the several projects I had going
all at once. I can now walk safely in the room without fear of stepping on
something important.

I got to reading through the pile of paperwork Gery Evans gave to me when he
departed for St. Louis. I now have a better feel for my position as
western VP of the NASG (appointed by the BOT to finish out Gerry's term).
I might call upon some of you for future input!

I hope everyone has a grand Thanksgiving, thinking of all the wonderful
advantages we have in the US, in spite of the current political and fiscal
situation. And don't forget S scale in your list of advantages!

Happy Thanksgiving!

For Friday night fun, Steve Doyle and I ran over to the Convention Center in
St. Paul to set up my "S Scale kids layout" ...
I have completed a nice structure kit for a friend and will start on my
H10-44 soon. I am bringing the kit to a meeting of the Minneapolis
Northfield and Southern Railway historical group to compare details with the
prototype. Of course, showing off the beautiful kit is another good reason
to bring it over.
