I've always enjoyed "contemporary" equipment, run long trains of it at DPV.
Just happens I personally model NYC (and CRI&P... and NKP... and...); doesn't
mean I wouldn't love to see AC4400's, auto racks and 89' auto part hi cubes in
S scale - I'd even purchase them!
The LPG cars are a welcome addition (as well as other Iron Rail offerings) and
a needed improvement over the Downs tank cars - many of which fall in the 'lead
sled' category. I hope people are supporting Iron Rails so they can come out
with more new offerings - I can think of two knock outs right now.
Regrettably, I expect there are more excuses than purchases...
