Hi Jim --

Talk about needing a big layout and large curves – holy cow! Today’s
railroading is HUGE compared to a half century ago. A modern diesel is
every bit as bit as a Big Boy or Allegheny (sans tender), and to have
several in MU and fifty 89 foot auto racks and TOFC’s in tow – never happen
on my layout! Not that I don’t appreciate a group of SD40T-2s and SD-45’s
yelling their collective guts out pulling a 80 car tank train up 2% ...

Have fun!

-----I've always enjoyed "contemporary" equipment, run long trains of it at
DPV. Just happens I personally model NYC (and CRI&P... and NKP... and...);
doesn't mean I wouldn't love to see AC4400's, auto racks and 89' auto part
hi cubes in S scale - I'd even purchase them! ...
