This is my first entry concerning my freelance layout, The Sierra & Katsina
Railroad. It's 11 1/2 x 16 and in a two car garage. The layout is based
loosely on a track plan from The Best of Model Railroading magazine's track
plans. It has three levels but no helix. I don't have enough room for broad
sweeping curves, but my 33" and 36" curves handle my AM SD60 and the Husky
Stack cars without a problem. My era is the late 80s & early 90s. I've built
this layout and versions of it three times due to three moves, so some of
the reused bench work looks a bit crude though it's very sturdy....
