 Indeed. There, my only contribution was to add some documentation and
 raise an error that makes Category_singleton safer to use.

 OK. But I thinkt this should really be a reviewer patch. Please make sure
 that you start with the most recent version of my patch -- the version
 that already includes most of what you did in the "review-nt" patch.

 And I wouldn't mind to have the "`FiniteBla`" stuff be usual categories
 for now, even though eventually they shall be singletons as well.

 I am looking forward to your reviewer patch and will now focus on rebasing
 #11943 and #11935.
