 Hi!

 I am almost done (updated patch attached; please look at what I did for
 the __init__ in IntegralDomain and subclasses). However, I have a problem:
 with sage 4.8.alpha2 on Ubuntu Oneiric, with the two patches:
 {{{
 9138_flat.patch
 trac11900_category_speedup_combined.patch
 }}}
 I am getting a lot of segmentation faults that I don't get without those
 patches. See the attached log (not: it is actually the log with my patch
 on top, but I am getting at least the same segfault in
 sage.structure.element without my patch; I'll post an updated log tomorrow
 morning).

 Any clues?
