There are better solutions to discard the analysis _after_ making it: 1) Undo: There is "undo all" or "re-load current game" to restore the last saved point 2) Copy game to clipbase: you can go crazy with every possible idea without touching the original game. But you still have the option to save your analysis 3) Simply discard the changes when loading another game or closing Scid.
