Hi!
When you click on Options-> Toolbars, a window should open. There you
can set what items you want to show on the toolbar. It appears that in
version 4.6, it defaults to "None".

Thanks - I see the show/hide coordinates now. The "trial mode" (old
icon had
a question mark beside a gavel) allows variations to be "tried" without
being
entered into the pgn. The former versions of scid had this in the main
toolbar along with flip board, and autoplay, add variation... In
version 4.5
for instance, the main toolbar rested and was centerd on the gameboard.
A
second toolbar could be added on top of that via option>toolbar, which
is the
only toolbar in 4.6. I am looking for the functions (particularly the
trial
mode) that were in the main toolbar in 4.5. Hope that helps. Thanks.

Scid 4.6 (Windows) seems to have lost a lot functionality from 4.5 Was
this
intentional? Examples are no toolbar with the trial-mode (necessity
for me),
flip board, etc. (The toolbar under options does not have these).
Board
coordinates on/off is also missing as well as a few other items.

Click on the toolbar under the main board. A series of icons should
appear.

If you click on the one at the right, there's "Rotate", "Show/Hide
coord",
"Show/Hide material" and "Full Screen".
Full Screen is rather cool, BTW.
