We are also on 7.6.04 and for us, retired knowledge articles still show up in
RKM searches. We're on the fence about whether we want our retired articles to
remain that way, but I do know that setting the article to Cancelled instead of
Retired status causes them to not show up in a KM
Hi,
Already done this but some of the articles are still visible. Have deleted the

work. I have also compared, at the database level, the entries for those that

You could probably set the article status to Retired.. unless you are
looking to forcefully delete the records? I haven't done this so purely
hypothetical.

Hi Tauf,
We are using v7.6.04. We can identify the relevant articles. What would the

Thanks.

ITSM v.8.01.01, and ADDM v 10. Our ITSM is upgraded from 7.6.04. Since the
upgrade I have noticed an issue with the setting of the status value from ADDM.
Example: Router_1 was on the network, discovered and made it to CMDB cleanly.
Router_1 was taken off the network, and ADDM eventually se

Which version? If 7.6.x and greater, and you can qualify those articles
somehow, you should be able to run an escalation on the KAM:Knowledge
Article Manager form.

Hi,
Does anyone know of a method to deactivate many Knowledge Articles in one go? I
have about 3000 articles to make so that they are no longer visible in a search.
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried the Knowledge Console? It becomes available on the left
hand menu of the home page after the KM module is installed.

I found the problem. Its not the MAX Filters. And yes I knew that max
filters is a transaction based setting and not for the entire escalation.
But because it was stopping only after processing a certain number of
records I was wondering if that had anything to do with it.
The reason it wasn't

First, and FYI, the filter counter that's used by the system to determine
if a transaction exceeds the filtering limit set for the system is reset

If the field is an integer field you need to add nillable="true" if you
want to sent null value.

I have a simple escalation that triggers on the form CTM:LoadPostalCodes
with a condition
'DL_Status' = "Unvalidated"
During an initial run if there was no data in CTM:LoadPostalCodes, all
records meet that condition.
The escalation sets two fields in that form, z1D Action to "VALIDATEL

From the docs
Outgoing XML
If nillable is false, AR System doesn’t generate the element at all for null
fields.
However, it can do so only if minOccurs=0.
If the service you are consuming didn’t define minOccurs for each element then
minOccurs = 1 for the element.

Hi Jarl,
Are you sure that the element will be skipped if it is set to NULL?
I think that a NULL value is still considered a value in Remedy. There is no
way to skip it if you include it in the attribute list.

Agree that the WSDl should support NULL values, which is a value.
It could be that the xsd is wrong. If it contains information that the
element is required, BMC Remedy always sends the element, regardsless if
its empty or not.

Hi,
I have seen this a few times. I think it is the standard Microsoft
implementation that does not handle NULL values, for example for numbers.
Could it be possible to send a 0 (zero) instead of NULL in these cases? If you
can do that it is a single filter per field, and possibly the need to cre
