Yet again most of my Connect endpoints had volume reset to 49%. The
Chromecast isn't a connect endpoint. One mystery is why all the players

Yes. They would get overwritten with every import. There's no write back
to the service (could be a feature... please don't ask!).

When you add a track to a playlist from the Spotify menu, you change the
Spotify playlist, not its local copy.

All my Spotty players reset to 49% volume again. Yet again logging for
Spotty was turned off [emoji2]

I don't really understand the Spotify app home page.
It's based on what would be presented to you on Spotify's landing page
(app or web site). It's content they think might be of interest to you.
If it changes, then it's because Spotify thinks they should offer you
some different music.

I installed spotty on my lms (running on a raspberry pi 4, picore).
I am able to use my squeezebox touch as a Spotify connect player, but
the audio is recorded as pcm and autoplay doesnt work.
I then installed spotty helper, but that broke spotty: my touch
doesnt show up as Spotify connect
