I don't know if there is a typo or what. My schematic that I pulled out of my file shows the 22.1K resistor going from pin 6 to 7 and a 1K resistor going from pin 7 to VCC (pin 8). I don't have any info handy on the 555 timer to determine whether the other way is correct or just a typo... Dan
