dear Uma,
he din't tell you to delete templates, he said to delete temporary files
which are stored by your web browser at the time you visit various sites.
these temporary files are no longer needed by system and some times also
cause some troubles. you can safely delete them without any fear of loosing
any program or document.

Re: [AI] Problem about internet explorer

2011-12-17 Thread Mujtaba Merchant
Hello Ravi,

This is the strangest problem I have heard ever even as a previously sighted
person I never came across a challenge like this! Besides the point, why would
you want to press alt d when your focuss is already in the address bar of the
browser? OR do you press it when the page loads and you want to go to a
different web location. I am guessing it is the later. In that case I want you
to check your JAWS application settings for internet explorer. To do this
launch internet explorer and press the insert v key then virtualise the window
of the settings by pressing insert alt and the w key. this should open a
virtualised window where you can copy the text and paste it anywhere. Just mail
it to me and I can look at it and suggest else you find something different
please change accordingly.

If you are getting this error very regularly, then you need to be very
careful since it can be a sign of your computer crashing soon. It
could be the result of the hard disk failure or your memory chip. You
may be able to minimise this error by reducing the number of programs
running, but sometimes even it may not prevent this error completely.
Another thing you can try is to increase your virtual memory. Besides
the error, are you feeling that your PC is becoming very slow? If so,
then it's the time to back-up your files.

K Jagadeshwari,

Try following steps may help
1. Scan your computer for virus, spyware, torjans using free Avira
antivirus, free Avast antivirus.
2. Regularly use ccleaner program to clean IE browser cache, temp files etc
3. see if your RAM memory is faulty.

I think mostly step 1 2 will solve your problem

It looks like your browser has been hijacked. What it means is that you have
got a spyware and it automatically activates certain programs or even
sights. So you need to perform a full system scan with a spyware removal
software to fix this problem.

Subject: [AI] Problem in internet explorer

 Hai friends

While switching between two internet explorer windows or for that
matter between one internet explorer window and a system window using
alt tab, when I switch to an internet explorer window, no key is
working. To regain focus I have to click the left mouse button. But by
doing this, I am clicking on unwanted links. I require your help in
this regard. I hope I have explained the problem correctly.
 Awaiting your reply.

 Thanks in anticipation

Hi Vetri

SFC stands for system file checker. When the command is issued, it replaces the
system DLL files from the OS CD in case it has got corrupted.
Doing good, thanks for the enquiries.

Re: [AI] Problem with internet explorer

2008-01-03 Thread Syed Imran
If you are talking about the warning message This page contains both secure
and nonsecure items... then you definitely can have internet explorer stop
displaying it.
You will do this as mentioned below:
In Internet Explorer, go to Tools(menu)options(diolog box)Security(tab).
In the list box Select a Web content zone to specify its security, ensure
that Internet explorer is highlighted. Then:
Activate custom level button and under Setttings: treeview, go to
Miscellaneous Display mixed content under display mixed content
section, check the radio button that says Enable -off
and let it change to Enable - on

Thank you

Dear Chetan
Hi
I am pasting an article which might solve your problem.
This may or may not work.
For more information you can google in for internet explorer hacked by
Godzilla
Article begins
Recently my IE title shows Hacked by Godzilla after transfer some files to a
handy drive. Hacked by Godzilla - MS32DLL.dll.vbs also known as VBS.Zodgila
worm was discovered since Nov 23, 2006. It has very low threat (according to
symantec report). Hacked by Godzilla - MS32DLL.dll.vbs worm spread thru
handy drive or floppy disk.

This is basically what Hacked by Godzilla - MS32DLL.dll.vbs - VBS.Zodgila do
when it execute:
List of 4 items
* Creates the following files:
[DRIVE LETTER]:\MS32DLL.dll.vbs
[DRIVE LETTER]:\MS32DLL.dll.vbs
[DRIVE LETTER]:\autorun.inf
Note: %Windir% is a variable that refers to the Windows installation folder. By
default, this is C:\Windows (Windows 95/98/Me/XP) or C:\Winnt (Windows NT/2000).
* Adds the value:
MS32DLL = %Windir%\MS32DLL.dll.vbs to the registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SOFTWARE \Microsoft \Windows \CurrentVersion \Run
so that it runs every time Windows starts.

Subject: [AI] problem in internet explorer

Hello Friends,

It seems that my computer is infected with some malware Etc. whenever, I launch
internet explorer and hear the title bar it says something like this, internet
explorer hacked by godzilla I have run adaware and AVG anty spyware and
according to their diagnosis, no threat is present in my PC. but I am more than
sure that some sort of infection is definitely there. I did a system restore
and apparently, solved my problem for a day or two, but it popped up
again. Now could anybody suggest how should I remove this infection without
formatting my computer? What precisely is GODZILLA? is this a name of any
spyware or something else?
With regards,

In this case I think there's some kind of Entry in
 the windows registry.
It can be figured out and removed with careful
 consideration by going to
 MY COMPUTER\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and performing a
 search on the strings like
rediff or www.rediff.com or words related to
 rediff or its website.

I suppose you have mistakenly clicked somewhere on
 the rediff site which
goes something like this,: click here to make it
 your home page. If
 that
be the case, then go to the property of your

 internet
