Could someone with the latest release try breeding for me? As I said, Im low on internet data (not drastically so but low enough to make me wary of downloading anything of such a size too many times), so Id appreciate it if one of you could test that for me. If it works, let me know via PM or something!

Re: Demons

Perhaps you could re-use some of the Things that you and maybe others have said in this topic. If you cant tell him about it I think writing would Work as well. And as Aprone said its good to hear from you Again, I too was starting to Wonder. I wont say I dont give a shit, I find this quite interesting and am of the believe that people are free to do to themselves what they please, most of the time at least, and if whatever said thing is makes them feel better then Id be all for it. Something that cannot be reversed though requires just all that more attention and thinking through, only thing I can come up right now to compare it with would be assisted suicide, which otherwise is quite different from sight los.I cant see anything wrong with assisted suicide, but most Places that take care of such stuff have you go through multiple interviews/forms to fill out so they know that its what you really want. Thus Id probably sec
ond your idea of getting linces since youd still be able take them out should you want to. (On the topic of assisted suicide I can recommend Terry Pratchetts documentary Choosing to Die. You do see a man die in the end though, so that might be a Little hard for some. I found it really interesting though, but then Again I do find death a rather fascinating topic...cause thts how creepy I am. Hehe.)egarding the shame you feel when thinking about trying a cane I get exactly what you mean, at least I think so I can only advice you to try anyway, perhaps read up on the topic first to gain more knowledge. Shame is a horrible feeling, its been with me in one form or another for most of my life, but I believe that you can get it under control through accepting what makes you feel that way and by looking into questions such as why when and how it starte
 d. The mind is a fascinating thing, and trying to figure out what makes you you can be something of an eyeopener (No pun intended)

Agree with Rob 100%. There is no way you can justify paying 1000 right away, or even over time as part of a payment plan. I can get a mac for that much and have full accessibility right out of the box rather than paying 500 for a laptop plus the fee I would need for JAWS. But I do kinda agree about the wrapping feature... it is nice to have.

Re: nvda: its achievements over the years and its drawbacks

Hello.I think you may have an old version of NVDA. NVDA recognizes tables fine. It doesnt have the rapping feature, thats true. But for a free screen reader, its awesome. And to those that say adding addons is such a chore, really? All you do is download the addon once and youve got it for ever, click on it, install it, by pressing alt Y and youre done. I think jaws was good for its day and I know there will be people still using it but honestly its going to have you paying and paying more money towards fs and most things jaws can do NVDA can do to. OCR, weve got it, voices, we have those, I cant think of anything else at the moment. My point is this; if you like jaws thats cool but if you want to try a free screen reader, try NVDA and not thunder. Thunder is in one word, crap.

New update:www.kaldobsky.com/audiogames/SwampPatch.zipChanges from version 3.4b to version 3.4c- Fixed a bug that allowed players to gain reputation, XP, and food during CMM missions.- Ive adjusted how the warning system displays messages to players who have official warnings on their account due to violations of the user agreement.- Ive added code for years to the part of Swamp that tells you how much time youve spent playing. Yes, there are players at, or quickly approaching a full year of accumulated play-time! Ill wait and code decades when its needed, ROFL! - Retreating from warehouse missions now only give 75% of the reward if you have found at least 20 crates. Finding less crates lowers your
reward percent, and you will recieve no reward at all if you had not personally found any crates.- The maximum running speed of Death bringer zombies has been slightly increased.- Players joining CTF missions will now list their team color in the message everyone hears.

Re: nvda: its achievements over the years and its drawbacks

Somehow I feel that youre following the if not broken, dont fix it analogy, while your arguments supporting Jaws do not really stand. See below.bryant wrote:I dont see myself switching to nvda, because jaws can do everything just as good, if not better, than nvda can, and I feel that nvda copied a lot of what was already in jaws.Have you used NVDA for a long period of time? I have, after a few years of Jaws use. NVDA feels like Jaws on steroids.Jaws does everything that NVDA does, but not more. The features that are being added to each release are ridiculous, while NVDA is adding innovative features, like audio ducking, which is actually useful. They do not try to reinvent a web browser (see research it), or explain a redesigned UI as a new, hyper super addition. They will never script around standard Windows use (see ribbons and virtual ribbons in JFW), which,
if it breaks, causes all the people who rely on it to be incapable of using a regular interface.Yes, NVDA copied a few features, which is unavoidable when designing a new screen reader from scratch. Which, by the way, happened in about six years, as opposed to Jawss 15, with 2 main developers only mind you! Jaws, on the other hand, copied a lot from every screen reader available. VoiceOvers and NVDAs object navigation (see touch screen interaction), the ability to redirect a synth to a specific audio device, the ability to restart upon a crash, OCR, muting speech on the fly... is it worth going on?bryant wrote:Why should I have to waist my time downloading addons when jaws already has those features included? This is dumb and a waist of my time, time that could be devoted to doing other things, rather than finding addons for nvda to work better with this and this program.I
assume Jaws includes the ability to translate text via Google Translate, monitor your pcs resources (ram, cpu, hard disk space), and can also query the status of Dropbox. These are just things you would waste your time downloading, as you said. But lets suppose that you would: NVDAs shear speed would make up for it!bryant wrote:As to scripts, I hardly ever use them and havent found a need for them.Actually you do use scripts. Switching between the Jaws and pc cursors executes a script, reading a window title executes a script, checking the time or date executes a script, even just a simple tab key executes a script.bryant wrote:I also dont like the way nvda proforms on the internet. It wont recognize some web elements like jaws will, such as tables and other eelements.NVDA has t
he most advanced Firefox, IE and Chrome support. Tables, layered tables, table headers, summaries all work as expected. Are you sure it was NVDA you tried?bryant wrote:I also dont like the fact that nvda doesnt have a wraping to top or bottom feature like jaws does. This is really annoying when I missed a heading close to the top or bottom of the page and I would have to go clear back up or down to reach it.Hmm, is ctrl+home or end really uncomfortable to press? It is not by accident that NVDA has lots of followers, give it a try and you will be switching in no time!Rob

Sadly, not all therapists are able to hold a stance of compassionate, non-judgmental listening, but all in all weve done pretty well here I think.Perhaps you could direct your therapist here, or copy your posts and our responses into a document that you could email to your therapist, editing if you feel that certain elements of the discussion are out of bounds. Re: A really good Dr. who related Youtube series

Well the problem with the huge battle is surely the Daleks would have bases somewhere? Where do they produce new Daleks, ships, supplies for both, and the resources to make all of those possible? Militarily speaking it is utterly implausible that an attacker could be annihilated in that way without leaving something behind, and with Galifrae gone who is left to mop up the remaining daleks before they can become a threat to the rest of the universe? Even a single Dalek supply base would likely be enough to rebuild the Daleks enough to threaten the galaxy without the time lords there to stand in their way, much less if there was a factory producing dalek travel units or even a dalek shipyard. Even assuming the daleks were throwing everything they had at Galifrae the support structure for their forces would still have to exist. In the real world the support structure is usually taken over or dismantled by the victors but all that was left was the Doctor and I dontn see ev
en him being able to wage such a campaign against the daleks alone, remember that even a single dalek has always been portrayed as a substantial threat in and of itself.

Hi Brad,While I am well aware the Eloquence add-on is available, and i have it on both machines, I cant use it at school. Firstly because I dont want them to get into any legal trouble (I doubt they would but Im not taking that chance), and NVDA gets reset every time you log off and log back on. I cant tell if it simply resets the settings or completely rewrites them. If the latter were the case, Id have to install the add-on every time, or else use a portable copy which already has the add-on installed. Both of which Id have to get cleared with the IT department. Its just not worth it.

Lol Assault, I totaly agree with that.To address the NVDA VS Jaws issue...Ive been using Jaws for almost 15 years (since version 3.5 I believe). Ive been using NVDA on and off for maybe 5.Lets address the whole copying thing first. While its true that NVDA and Jaws have copied things from each other, I dont see this as an issue. Personally I like it. Since Jaws was the one of the most, if not the most popular reader before NVDA, it doesnt make sense to me why you could attack either for copying from each other. If theyre both doing the same thing, then what does it matter who took from who? Thats like saying, this program put minimize, maximize and restore in the system menu, but Ill put those options in the view menu of my program. I often am pulling my hair out in frustration because NVDA simply says too much by default and I have tog o hunting for settings. For instance i was browsing a web page the other day which had three table inside each other. Instead of using a virtual cursor and putting elements on their own line, NVDA started trying to read the properties of all three tables in one large chunk. It was truly overwhelming. how easy it is to crash Eloquents, but NVDA has neither of these problems. I think Jaws and NVDA are both responsive but NVDA does have an edge. Re: starting out with a guidedog.

2015-01-08 Thread AudioGames . net Forum — Off-topic room : cx2 via Audiogames-reflector

Re: starting out with a guidedog.

A few differences in the UK to other places.Guide dogs pay for food and vet care, they have an account with the manufacturers and you just call up and order the food using your dogs serial number. That said as well as the six monthly checkn up its a good idea to take your dog to weigh them at the vets once a month, they should assist you if you ask nicely and theyre not too busy. Regarding toys just buy good brands and avoid toys with squeakers in case the squeaker comes loose, Kong is a very safe bet and produce not only the well known Kongs for throwing but frisbys and a stick shaped toy. I also find Buster a good brand, they produce cubes you can put treats in which the dog rolls around the floor to get the food out, theyre actually styled as a six sided die. Pressed rawhide chews work very well, Kirk loves them and as a bonus they work to keep his teeth clean and you can even play fetch and tug with the rawhide rings, though it is probably worth
keeping a treat or a smaller rawhide chew in your pocket to give the dog in exchange for getting the ring back so you can use it multiple times. When I play tug with Kirk he lost interest in his rubber rings so I play with his rawhide rings then offer him a rawhide cigar after the session, I do let him have the rawhide ring to eat eventually but this just stretches out the amount of time you get out of the ring.UK guide dogs are not trained to help you tell when its safe to cross the road unlike US guide dogs, so its still down to us to tell when to cross.Booties arent really necessary, however I would strongly suggest using a wet cloth to wipe your dogs feet if you suspect rock salt has been spread on the pavement or if its snowy so cold snow doesnt stay in the crevaces of their feet. If youre planning on being out a long time then you may need to find an option to do this while youre out but if youre only going to
the shops then you can do it when you get home. When I first got Kirk I found it all very stressful, including the guilt that I wasnt falling in love with him in spite of everyone I meet out and about saying I bet you love him already. Ignore them, theyre idiots. If youre at all capable of loving any kind of animal then the bonding and playing will come naturally, it may take weeks or months but it will happen. Fortunately Kirk is quite cheeky and very people oriented so it meant he fell in love with me right away and was persistent enough that he wasnt upset at how long it was taking me to bond with him. Let the people from guide dogs know about your feelings towards dogs since itll help them match you.Oh and yes yes yes, guide dogs UK do allow you to take a test walk with a dog though be aware it may not be representative of the final outcome. The dog I had a walk with was due to be withdrawn for both lack of confidence when
the trainers werent about and inconsistent tension on the harness, I just couldnt feel what was going on through the handle and it was very stressful. The time I went for a matching walk with Kirk the difference was instantly obvious, the tension was far better so obviously the first dog Carlton just wasnt a good choice for a test walk.I can also recommend getting a food bin to keep your dogs food in, and if possible an additional set of talking kitchen scales to weigh their food. I have two sets of kitchen scales, one for me and one I keep in Kirks cupboard for his food so the dog food doesnt contaminate my food and vice versa.

Re: Katawa Shoujo, aka that game about disabled girls.

Hello,Now, with the accessibility of the RenPy engine, downloading the launcher for RenPy and running Katawa Shoujo in in it, pressing V gives full voice support. Since the developers do not want to port Katawa Shoujo to RenPy 8.1, this is the way it will have to be.Any new game from now on using the latest RenPy will have voice support, whether they want it or not, as this feature is a part of RenPy.With some games, some modifications are necessary, such as with Sun Rider. However, I may try this version out since the RenPy version makes me play with Sapi. The next step is to get that support working with the four major screen readers.I dont think thatd be too hard.I just wanted to let those who didnt know about the RenPy support. Ive played through two girls endings so far, Rin and Lilly. Lillys route I unfortunately didnt finish as I lost the save, and Im not sure if I want to go through all of that a
gain. I reformatted my Mac, and while my copy is on GoogleDrive, its not all of it.If I can get to the part where Hi Sau has an attack at the airport while looking for Lilly and winds up in the hospital again, that is near where I stopped.

I cant use the RenPy skip function though because its not running under the version it was compiled under, version 7X.Edit: So, I tried this version, and after clicking new game, I only get next and skip buttons. No text. The music is also not playing.Shame too because in the RenPy version, Sapi gets stuck on the long monologues that HiSao has at points, and one such time is at the beginning of the game--the first hospital visit. Also, shouldnt this topic be moved to General Discussion?

If you like the wrapping feature, suggest it to an NVDA developer, and if many people vote for it, its almost certain it will get added. If not, someone will write a plugin for it.Try that with FS. Tell them somethings broken and they will trace it back to you. Somehow. No matter what. Youre at fault for causing the problem to occur in the first place, not them for overlooking something.Im not even telling anyone to switch to NVDA. If you want to use JFW, then thats totally fine. Yet I must remind you that this topic is called nvda: its achievements over the years and its drawbacks, not I use this screen reader because x y z. Because I do believe there exist such topics in the mass.

Hi Brad,While I am well aware the Eloquence add-on is available, and I have it on both machines, I cant use it at school. Firstly because I dont want them to get into any legal trouble (I doubt they would but Im not taking that chance), and secondly, NVDA gets reset every time you log off and log back on. I cant tell if it simply resets the settings or completely rewrites them. If the latter were the case, Id have to install the add-on every time, or else use a portable copy which already has the add-on installed. Both of which Id have to get cleared with the IT department. Its just not worth it.

Re: nvda: its achievements over the years and its drawbacks

Lol Assault, I totaly agree with that.To address the NVDA VS Jaws issue...Ive been using Jaws for almost 15 years (since version 3.5 I believe). Ive been using NVDA on and off for maybe 5.Lets address the whole copying thing first. While its true that NVDA and Jaws have copied things from each other, I dont see this as an issue. Personally I like it. Since Jaws was one of the most popular screen readers before NVDA, it doesnt make sense to me why you could attack either for copying from each other. If theyre both doing the same thing, then what does it matter who took from who? Thats like saying, this program put minimize, maximize and restore in the system menu, but Ill put those options in the view menu of my program. Yet nothing does it, because putting them in the system menu is a part of standard Windows basics, which by now are so concrete that many people are used to it. It probably doesnt seem li
ke that now because screen readers are not as common as computer programs, but I predict these things will soon be just expected of any screen reader, if we ever do get a huge amount of worthy screen readers to choose from. Realistically I doubt well ever have that many options but you never know. Now, with that said, I love Jaws and NVDA both. Jaws because Im used to how it reads things. Re: Demons

Ill agree as well, or if you prefer you could always ask your therapist to take a quick look at your blog. One way or another its important your therapist know about this so they can help you fully and I know admitting things face to face can be hellishly difficult, you feel like you want to but your throat mouth and brain just seize up whenever you have an opportunity.Regarding the cane, it depends whether its a roller or a tapper tip. In either case you want the edges of your sweep to be a little wider than the width of your body, with a roller you just roll it from side to side while a tapper you tap one side of the area you wish to sweep then lift and tap the other ignoring the area in between. The important part is to keep your arm still and your wrist loose. If anyone were to catch you its always an option to say youre taking an online VI awareness course or something and youre trying to get the most out of it you can. Remember cane
s wont let you find everything so dont feel frustrated if it doesnt work the way you want, they also take a lot of getting used to so be patient.I know Ive often found my magnanimous attitude towards gender has fluctuated depending on my mood, the worse my mood with my depression the closer to purely straight I seem to become. I figure this is me retreating towards the familiar and safe nature of my attraction to women, kind of the opposite effect youre experiencing in a way. I genuinely hope your therapist can help, and if I can do anything at all just ask.

Lillys route I unfortunately didnt finish as I lost the save, and Im not sure if I want to go through all of that a
gain. I reformatted my Mac, and while my copy is on GoogleDrive, its not all of it.If I can get to the part where Hisao has a heart attack at the airport while looking for Lilly and winds up in the hospital again, that is near where I stopped. I cant use the RenPy skip function though because its not running under the version it was compiled under, version 7X.

Re: Surviving something major like an EMP?

I know people can garden and so on but were talking about a city here, I dont see their being enough land to grow that quantity of crops simply because roads and buildings are on top of the land instead. Come to think of it parks would probably be turned into farms which would be interesting, though the sheer amount of food a city requires? I just cant see that happening regardless of how many people have the skills, and the area surrounding the city would become either full to capacity with crops or else scavenged to worthlessness quite quickly. You just cant sustain such a high concentration of people in an area without bringing in food from outside, and even horse and cart would struggle to make an impact.Interesting side note, the introduction of the combustion engine actually had a major positive impact on the environment and air quality in cities simply because it cut down heavily on the amount of horse manure that needed to be cleaned out of t
he streets. Interesting how we now think of cars as such a negative thing in terms of the environment when it was such a great triumph for air quality at the time.

Re: starting out with a guidedog.

First, read this.http://www.anythingpawsable.com/before- … K72qLl0zXgI dont know if there are any programs in the UK for testing out a dog before owning one. Such things are difficult to find in the US. Problematic too, is the fact that a practice dog wont know you, wont be matched for your body/speed, and that the both of you may be bumbling and confused. A friend let me walk with her dog a brief way through my college campus, and that short practice was very different from owning my own dog. A lot more rough and frustrating for the both of us.This is about to be a lot of questions. Give each of these some deep thought. Dont just answer yes or no. Be honest with yourself. Are you independent? Can you get to the store, or as we do, order your dogs food off Amazon? Can you afford the cost of a decent brand? Can you afford food bowl, water bowl, and vet care? Can you afford toys and bones? Will you learn to know what toys not to buy? Can you afford a dog brush and comb, maybe some conditioner spray if you live in a dry area? Can you get a ride to the vet in an emergency? Are you willing to stand out in freezing temperatures while your dog circles and circles, then pick up its leavings? Are your cane skills good? Do you constantly need to feel landmarks and shorelines, or can you get a good sense of the area? Do you get easily lost? Can you cross streets safely on your own? Are you willing to keep a set schedule for food? We feed our pups at 9 in the morning and 8 at night, keeping as close as we can to the time interval, even if were a bit early or late. Will you put down the computer and take your dog outside? Will you play with it in the house, doing tug, throwing balls, and bonding? Will you get out of your warm, cozy bed to take the dog out, even if it means picking up after it? Will you carry, as we lovingly term them, Shit bags in your pocket every time you take it out? Will you carry essentials with you; doggie bags, a travel water bowl on a hot day, a towel to wipe its feet in the snow? Will you buy it some booties to protect its feet from salty ice and snowy sidewalks? Will you be an alpha, a leader, a parent and a protector? Will you take no bullshit from your dog, but still be proud of its accomplishments? Are you good with animals? Do you have a sense of how dogs think, do you have some idea of their psychology? Will you be able to tell people, kids, old ladies that No, sorry, shes working. You cant pet her? Or will you choose to get a sign for the harness? Will you go places with your dog, or just sit inside for day after day while it gets bored and loses its training? Will you brush out its coat every few days? Will you learn when its better to leave the dog behind, and whether or not the pup will be too scared? Will you puppy proof your house, and be firm with others who may say negative things about your dog? Can you handle it if someone accuses you of abuse when they see you correcting your dog? If a family member says you have to leave the dog behind, are you able to stand up for your partner, and can you make the decision that it might be better to let him stay home? If a place tells you you cant come in with the dog, how will you handle it?For me, the bond with my girl has many threads. Were partners, getting from point A to point B as a team. Im her parent, smacking her nose for trying to lick the restaurant floor and giving her a high collar correction for getting too excited over a dog. Im her responsibility when we have to cross a busy street and I trust her to go straight. Were friends when I put half my body inside her crate and talk to her before bed. Shes my pet when shes pawing me for pets and chasing after the ball. Im sure many others will have tips and drawbacks to mention along with all these questions.I thought I wanted a dog in college. I thought I was ready. But i held back because I knew I wasnt independent enough yet to go to the store and get all the things a dog would need. Outside of classes, I knew I wouldnt work a dog much. I knew I was still too selfish and stressed out to handle the big responsibility of a dog. Its a major decision.

Hello everyone.I am very new to this and have discovered the its your plane addon just a few days ago.I am still using the demo version with the cessna 172 sp skyhawk.I now have a little problem with the ATC communication. I have activated the automatic ATC responces. The following happened.I ran down the taxi checklist and the point came up called, Announce taxi intensions. In the way that it was written in the manual, I echoed the request back to Michelle, so she could give this info to the tower. But the strange thing was, that she just said @please wait@ and did nothing. After a few seconds, she asked me again to announce taxi intensions. I did that again and she said please wait again.AFter that she didnt say anything. I said announce taxi intensions again, and she told me, that I already have announced my intensions.Does someone know what is wrong here, I didnt hear a message from the tower or anything like that.<

Re: A really good Dr. who related Youtube series

Well Ive not seen the christmas special yet due to unexpected things coming up on tuesday and my mum going to hospital for an opperation on Wednesday, but I agree on false exits. When Rory was removed from history and supposedly died in the silurian episode of season 5 I thought oh this is finally getting interesting then of course that got ran into the ground. New who generally has a real problem with characters exiting, which has just got worse under the moff. As for cancellation, to be honest I actually wish the Bbc had done what they were thinking of doing and canceled the series after time of the Doctor. Far better to go out on a high with the most popular doctor of Modern times confronting his own people and melancholy about his death than drag things on forever. If the series was canceled tomorrow I wouldnt be sorry, indeed as Ive said before I no longer consider any of the moff doctors canon, and hay, if t
he series was! canceled maybe big finish could pick up the license, now that would! be awsome. Oh, and for the record Bf does! exit characters, albeit I do rather wish theyd exited Hex in Gods and monsters rather than dragging him back for another trilogy to give him a happy ening (though the 7thDoctor as match maker was amusing), and its quite nice that though maggy Stables sadly died, the awsome Evelyn smythe got her propper exit moment from the Tardiss bringing her travels to a satisfying conclusion. While a couple of assistants have been a tad short changed, notably Erimem and Criz, who really shouldve stuck around for longer, and a couple of others go on slightly too long, notably Charley pollard and the 8th Doctor, (though when she meets up with sixy things are different again), Bf really does! handle their companions far better than the tv series, then again Bf could blow their noses better than anyone w

OK, Im utterly confused. The instructions dont make any sense to me. Upon starting the game, I get Im in some kind of maze? It said I could hear the footsteps of monsters, although if they hit me or not is completely random. Also, I do not even hear any wind sound unless I stand still for about 5 hours.I was just kidding, Erion. I was merely poking at the developers being unable to realize theyre not the first. But apaprently this seems to be a common thing with developers and audio gaming.

Many people would disagree with me, but Ive always been 100% against the use of any mind altering substance.
Shame is a horrible feeling, but I believe that you can get it under control through accepting what makes you feel that way and by looking into questions such as why when and how it started. The mind is a fascinating thing, and trying to figure out what m
akes you you can be something of an eyeopener (No pun intended)

HI.Ah thats interesting about the hypnotherapy. I think as you said writing would help. Try it next time you go to your therapist. Write down how youre feeling, I also find that easier than speaking sometimes so can see where youre coming from with that. And yes as aprone said, mind altering drugs will not allow you to think logically, yes they may calm you down but in the end its your mind that is affected. Also you dont want to be relying on that for a crutch, that would not be good at all for anyone. I hope you update us on how the therapy goes and weather you did write down how you were feeling.

Re: A really good Dr. who related Youtube series

What I did not get was why the current era especially series 7 of Doctor Who did Play with the question of who the Doctor actually is and never giving any answer to the Thing.I mean if everyone in the universe feared the question Doctor Who?, I would have liked to see the answer. For the plot with the time war:While some hints existed in Big Finish stories that Leela escaped and lived past the war, they were obviously not confirmed on Screen. If you accept that the Doctors saved Gallifrey and put it into another universe, couldnt this make a Story about redemption?Dark, if this was properly done, wouldnt it be so bad for you?And what good was the pre eleventh Doctor era with names of things from the war?How can you know if a being named nightmare child is worse than the evil of the Daleks if you have neither seen what it did in the war, nor has the Doctor, Rassilon or the master specifically told the View
er what the war did to the universe. On the other Hand, what is the Problem with the space battle in Day of the Doctor?Didnt they say that all forbidden weapons were already used up?And didnt the time Lords in End of Time state that they were at the very edge of the war and the time lock? And if the battle over Gallifrey went on for hours or days, both sides would have worn down their enemies fleets and super weapons.I still dont get why the BBC did not make war stories either in the main Show, as a spinoff movie or series or in form of more than the one book we have...About Big Finish:Since the BBC only has the main book series which is mostly a stand alone Story collection, I still dont get what the original Problem was.AudioGo made audiobooks of existing printed neww series books. And they made the New Series Audio exclusive stories. But if my Information is correct, both are more reading
s than full cast Audio Dramas...This brings up the question why Big Finish simply cant buy the rights to new Who as Audio, or why the BBC seems to be unwilling to sell the license for it.Especially since AudioGo is supposed to be now longer in Business I dont get what the Problem is.On the other Hand, the BBC Eighth Doctor books and the Big Finish early eighth Doctor stories were also running around the same time and it was ok, since Big Finish made their own storyline totally separated from the books.About Charley pollard:While her travels with the eighth and later the sixth Doctor were nice, I still have some questions about this.I recall the Eighth Doctor thought that Charley died. But he later figured out that the woman he thought to be an old Charley was not her and that she still would exist somewhere. This brings up why he never found out what happened. Moreover the Doctor had often Problems with other People in
his mind.I wonder why his Memory of the true Story of Mila and Charley got restored to him (Eighth Doctor!).And then there is the question of who or what the Viyrans are and why supposedly no one knows their origin. And since the Dalek time Controller wanted and got more than one Virus, the Story should be told with the Doctor in it.

Re: starting out with a guidedog.

Hi Cinnamon.[[wow]] thanks for the response.Im going to answer all your questions.are you independent? Can you get to the store, or as we do, order your dogs food off Amazon? Can you afford the cost of a decent brand? Can you afford food bowl, water bowl, and vet care? Can you afford toys and bones? Will you learn to know what toys not to buy? Can you afford a dog brush and comb, maybe some conditioner spray if you live in a dry area? Can you get a ride to the vet in an emergency? To answer all those questions. Yes.I can do all that because the guidedogs.org.uk training will help me with that. They have a schedule they keep to and check up on you monthly at first, and every six months you have to take the dog to the vet.I will learn all that when training. Are you willing to stand out in freezing temperatures while your dog circles and circles, then pick up its leavings?Yes. once trained. Are your cane sk
ills good?Yep. Ive been using a cane for around 12 years now.Do you constantly need to feel landmarks and shorelines, or can you get a good sense of the area? That will be a little tricky since Im so used to the cane but I think I could handle it.Do you get easily lost?Again, its the fact Ive used the cane for so long that is going to throw me a little, but Im sure Ill be ok.Can you cross streets safely on your own?Yep. Although we have a very annoying road here, but yes I can cross the road, or streets as you call them. Are you willing to keep a set schedule for food? We feed our pups at 9 in the morning and 8 at night, keeping as close as we can to the time interval, even if were a bit early or late.Yep, no problem. Will you put down the computer and take your dog outside? YesWill you play with it in the house, doing tug, throwing balls, and bonding? That will be a little tricky for me since Im not a fan of non working dogs, so would have to get over that fear. Will you get out of your warm, cozy bed to take the dog out, even if it means picking up after it?Yep. I need to get out anyway, Im way to lazy. Will you carry, as we lovingly term them, Shit bags in your pocket every time you take it out?well Im going to have to, so yep. Will you carry essentials with you; doggie bags, a travel water bowl on a hot day, a towel to wipe its feet in the snow?Im not sure, because Im not sure how far Id go with the dog, and honestly? Id not go out in the snow. Will you buy it some booties to protect its feet from salty ice and snowy sidewalks?Again, Im not going out in the snow as far as i know, and hmm I dont know. Maybe, but I
m not bying it a swetter and bow lol. Will you be an alpha, a leader, a parent and a protector? Will you take no bullshit from your dog, but still be proud of its accomplishments?Ill tryAre you good with animals? At the current time, no.Do you have a sense of how dogs think, do you have some idea of their psychology? No I cant say I do.Will you be able to tell people, kids, old ladies that No, sorry, shes working. You cant pet her? Yes and if they insist I will tell the dog to walk away.Or will you choose to get a sign for the harness? No, no sign for me.Will you go places with your dog, or just sit inside for day after day while it gets bored and loses its training?Yes.Will you brush out its coat every few days? Will you learn when its better to leave the dog behind, and whether or not the pup will be too scared? Will you puppy proof your house, and be firm with other
s who may say negative things about your dog? Can you handle it if someone accuses you of abuse when they see you correcting your dog? If a family member says you have to leave the dog behind, are you able to stand up for your partner, and can you make the decision that it might be better to let him stay home?Yes, again, Ill get all this kind of training. As for puppies, it wont be a puppy. If a place tells you you cant come in with the dog, how will you handle it?I will tell them that the rules say that I am aloud and if they say no again, I will not do what Ive herd some people do and kick up a fuss. I will be kind and say okay thats completely fine and find another shop.I have thought about these answers, Ill admit not in great detail since Im going to phone the uk guide dog charity tomorrow. Thanks so much for all these questions.

Re: disturbing nightmares

Part of the problem with counsilling, even more so than with most forms of psychology, is that there is no standard in training. Any tom dick or harriet can call themselves a counsiller. There are propper techniques and qualifications, and true counsilling is a diciplin like any other (a friend of mine has a masters in person centered counsilling and the training she had was intensive). id personally suggest if you want to go the counsilling route find someone who has some sort of knolidge or specialty in what your looking for, and check they have a reasonable standard qualification in the specific sort of counsilling your looking for, as a bad counsiller can do more harm than good. Counsilling however is not a cure all, neither does it sute all psychological problems, something like schizophrenia, certain forms of depression or other illnesses might need more of a psychiatric, rather than psychological solution, or possibly a combination of things. @Bra
d, your correct, men and women can have the potential to be equally bad, or sometimes equally good at counsilling. There are cases where a client might specifically need! a counsiller of a given gender, for example in recovering from s/xual abuse where say it wouldnt be helpful for the counsiller to be of the same gender as the abuser, but those are more specific to the needs of the client and any reasonable quality counsilling service will ask first off.

Just, [[wow]]. I think NVDA is becoming more than a screen reader and I said that in quotes, because this is non-visual desktop access, and its giving access to stuff that, honestly, I dont think sighted people can really do. Re: Angelgift: the adventure begins!

Hello,@robjoy: I dont know if Ive noticed any lightnint strikes during the boss, I played last night and just banished him again. Im now wondering if Ive been approaching this a little wrong as I think even though this is a short game sometimes you are meant to wait and listen. For the houses and lesser dmons its kind of about reactions, with the bosss now that I know what to do I wasnt really paying attenion to the soundscape, which now that I realize this, Im kind of surprised that I didnt, and will have to really listen next time.

Re: disturbing nightmares

hi,If you are taking psychoactive medications, this could be the reason for the nightmares. Review the medications you are currently taking. Look at the possible side effects. I was once proscribed a medication for sudden hearing loss with drowsiness, mental confusion, enability to focus, tinnitus and ironicly, hearing loss as possible side effects. I noticed the drowsiness hearing loss, tinnitus and mental confusion right away. I distinctly remember at dinner someone asking me if I wanted bread and me spending 15 seconds trying to figure out what that person was saying.

Re: disturbing nightmares

@Wanderer, I do sympathize having had my own experiences with nightmares, for likely a very ifferent reason but consequently possibly similar, Ive certainly had periods where Im forcing myself to stay awake for fear of what might happen if I sleep. One of the more helpful deffinitions of a mental ilness (and the one my dad as a psychiatric nurse), worked with for all his working life was that a mental illness was a state of mind or perception that severely interfered with normal functioning I could give you a long discussion various possible deffinitions of normal functioning but its pretty clear that not sleeping is one pretty clear one. A friend of mine who was diagnosed with a certain mental condition actually stated that what alerted her to things going rong was the fact that for her, stressful events like exams were far more! stressful than for those aroun her. So, Id personally suggest looking at some sort
of psychological assistance. If you can yourself identify the cause of the problem or believe it is primarily an issue of emotions or understanding, try counselling, if however the issue is (as you partly suggest), more causeless and possibly of a genetic origin then maybe talking to a psychiatrist as well might be helpful. i know there is a big social phobia about psychological problems, but really theyre no ifferent from physical ones, and can be just as debilitating and hard to live with, and just the way youd go to your doctor if you started feeling really sick, its worth getting an opinion. My only major advice is if you decide to go the counselling route, take care where you go and who you talk to. Badly adviced counselling by people who dont know what theyre doing can in some ways cause more harm than good, indeed you might want to talk to a Doctor first and get an idea of where might be a good place to go if you dont yourself
know the source of the issue, rather than ratling around the internet or goin to see some local quack. Hth.

Re: Very disappointed

@Brad, glad the link helped, however from what I know of Nvda I dont believe it has an issue with alt text or hotspots, so you might want to check your settings for alt text in Ie. Regarding radios, I didnt specifically mean using a laptop sinse your correct there are times when its good to have something else, just that to me over 400 pounds for a radio seems ridiculously expensive, heck my Victor stream was 250. Also, if you just want radio, Im not convinced you need a specifically adapted model, as I said I use a perfectly normal (though highly good quality), one in my stacking system. The only need I can see for a specifically adapted radio is if you wanted it to do some other more complex things than just listen to radio stations that would require reading a screen to set, (hence why I invested in the Victor stream). Regarding podcasts, well if I want the actual list of episodes and feed, ie, it gets steadily updated, I just copy t
he rss link (its the one that says rss), into whatever program I want to stream the podcast with, ie, klango or winamp (klango is a weerdly good podcatcher). Generally though Generally though, sinse most podcasts I kee tabs on are books or audio dramas like darker projects I just pop along to the site ocasionally and either download or stream the latest bit, (usually I find the download link). There are as I said other options for Iphone and for my victor which I need to investigate, indeed I believe there is a pretty good radio tuner ap for the Iphone (and considering an Iphone isnt that much more expensive than 400 quid and does a lot more that might be an option). As to patience, yes, people are stupid, and no, its not always easy to maintain patience about things, however unfortunately the skill of explaining things to stupid people is a necessry one if you have a disability, plus if youve already explained something a little sarc
 asm is quite justified .

Hi.I cant help much apart from saying, getting a councilor who you feel safe talking with is the most important thing. I went to a couple of councilors and one was bad, female, and the other was very nice, male. Im not saying female councilors are bad, but if you go the counseling route, look for one you will feel good talking with.

@VictoriousIt depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you need a secure way to use a wireless access point, or use your home IP remotely I think the best shot is SoftEther VPN which can be found at www.softether.org.Its cross platform and opensource.Another more esoteric alternative is setting up a Tor hidden service with a SSH server. You can then use your home connection or remotely control your computer via Tor, which is very cool.
