The Invocation of a Dutiful Child is Accepted

Hadith 8.5  Narrated by Ibn Umar (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)

Allah's Apostle (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, While three persons
were traveling, they were overtaken by rain and they took shelter in a cave
in a mountain. A big rock fell from the mountain over the mouth of the cave
and blocked it. They said to each other, 'Think of such good (righteous)
deeds which you did for Allah's sake only, and invoke Allah by giving
reference to those deeds so that Allah may relieve you from your
difficulty.' One of them said, 'O Allah! I had my parents who were very old
and I had small children for whose sake I used to work as a shepherd. When I
returned to them at night and milked (the sheep), I used to start giving the
milk to my parents first before giving to my children. And one day I went
far away in search of a grazing place (for my sheep), and didn't return home
till late at night and found that my parents had slept. I milked (my
livestock) as usual and brought the milk vessel and stood at their heads,
and I disliked to wake them up from their sleep, and I also disliked to give
the milk to my children before my parents though my children were crying
(from hunger) at my feet.

So this state of mine and theirs continued till the day dawned. (O Allah!)
If you considered that I had done that only for seeking Your pleasure, then
please let there be an opening through which we can see the sky.' So Allah
made for them an opening through which they could see the sky. Then the
second person said, 'O Allah! I had a she-cousin whom I loved as much as a
passionate man loves a woman. I tried to seduce her but she refused till I
paid her one-hundred Dinars. So I worked hard till I collected one hundred
Dinars and went to her with that. But when I sat in between her legs (to
have sexual intercourse with her), she said, *O Allah's slave! Be afraid of
Allah! Do not deflower me except legally (by marriage contract).* So I left
her. O Allah! If you considered that I had done that only for seeking Your
pleasure then please let the rock move a little to have a (wider) opening.'

So Allah shifted that rock to make the opening wider for them. And the last
(third) person said 'O Allah! I employed a laborer for wages equal to a
Faraq (a certain measure) of rice, and when he had finished his job he
demanded his wages, but when I presented his due to him, he gave it up and
refused to take it. Then I kept on sowing that rice for him (several times)
till I managed to buy with the price of the yield, some cows and their
shepherd. Later on the laborer came to me and said. *O Allah's slave!) Be
afraid of Allah, and do not be unjust to me and give me my due.* I said (to
him), Go and take those cows and their shepherd. So he took them and went
away. (So, O Allah!) If You considered that I had done that for seeking Your
pleasure, then please remove the remaining part of the rock.' And so Allah
released them (from their difficulty).

We, a new generation of young Muslims, in order to protect our Islamic
traditions and achieve Islamic moral excellence, do affirm and pledge this

A Good Muslim is a Good Human Being:

Islamic identity is your utmost possession. It is the only identification
that matters on the Day of Judgment. It is your faith, your religion, your
moral values, and your whole life. This identity is the one that makes you
recognize Allah as the One and Only God of this Universe. This identity is
the one that makes you wake up before sunrise and pray to Allah.  This
identity is the one that makes you kind, sincere, responsible, and
thoughtful when you deal with people. This identity is the one that forbids
you to lie, cheat, steal, gamble, and engage in any immoral behavior. This
identity is the one that makes you realize and understand that Islam is a
way of life. This identity is the one that makes you good human being,
because good Muslim is a good human being.

First, it is necessary to define what is meant by the term Islamic
identity. Is it fulfilling the five pillars of Islam? It is limited to
clothes? Is it growing beard or wearing of hijab? Is it learning the Arabic
language? Is it studying only Islam? Is it a tangible, visible feature or an
internal construct? Indeed, there is so much more to the Islamic identity we
should be seeking to develop as proud Muslims.

 The Islamic Identity is taken to mean the way of life of the Muslim, a
comprehensive set of beliefs, practices and ideologies as derived from the
Quran and the example of Muhammad (PBUH). Islamic identity is that which
separates us from non Muslims. Robust Islamic Identity is also what
separates between strong and shaky Muslims.

There is no contradiction between Islamic Identity and Nationality. If your
nationality is American, then USA is your home, and you follow the rule of
the land. There is no contradiction because the rule of the land does not
force you to commit sins, cheat, lie, or use interest. This rule of the land
does not obstruct your right to carry out your religious obligations, nor
prevent you from being a good Muslim. Many people have different  paper
identifications. They have identifications, called passports, when they
travel from one country to another. They have identifications, called driver
licenses, when they drive. They have identifications, called voting
registrations, when they vote in an election. They have identifications,
called citizenships, when they acquire nationality of countries, and so on.
These identifications are paper identifications. Islamic identity does not
have paper identification, but it has action identification.

There is an urgent need to have a support system in schools and colleges.
This can be in the form of Muslim student associations in schools and
colleges. And if that is not feasible, small group of Muslim youth can form
a group among themselves to support each other with the objective of
becoming strong proud Muslims.

There are many other young Muslims in the West and, regrettably, in Muslim
countries who are dissolved in Western Pop Culture. They don't realize that
their Islamic Identity is their most valuable possession.

I was visiting a Christian friend who is very close to converting to Islam.
He prays with me, but did not say Shahada yet. He talked to me about
corruption of religions. He said The Jews, by modifying and omitting texts
from the Torah, corrupted it. The same thing have happened with the New
Testament. Early Christians followed the The Ecumenical Councils of Church

Monotheistic to polytheistic religion. Muslims could not corrupt the Quran,
so they corrupt themselves. They seem to believe that because Quran states
that Islam is the Only religion of God, they can do as they please - such as
tyrant dictators oppressing people, something that is completely wrong and
will be punished by Allah.

We all need Islamic Youth Awakening and we all you need to build a strong
Islamic Identity, if we want success in this life and in the hereafter.

Education:

The education system is typically where the learning process starts, under
the parent's direction. Children are sent by their parents to schools with
good intentions of an education and a chance for a better life. The children
are placed in an environment where mixing of sexes is the norm through the
placement of children in multi-gender classes and sporting teams. In the
absence of parental Islamic guidance, these children grow up to believe such
behavior is normal. This leads, in many cases, to considering the Islamic
requirement of segregated sexes as 'old fashioned' or 'backward'. After
years in such an environment, it is no surprise that we see so many young
Muslims with 'boyfriends', and 'girlfriends'.

*11. T*hinking of the Danger of the Blind Common Adversary

Muslims have many blind common adversaries. These are the people that attack
the religion of Islam in the western Media and propagate verses in the Quran
taken out of context. These are the people who publish hateful anti-Islam
websites. There are even Muslim Users groups that are controlled by
Christian missionaries and pluralist Muslims.  These are the people that
wrote their own version of Quran, and claim its superiority on our authentic
Quran. These are the people that use WMD (Weapons of Missionary Deception)
to convert uneducated poor, weak, or sick Muslims to Christianity. They have
budget of $ 6.8 billion a year. These common adversaries do not work
individually, but within organization with a considerable budget. Muslims
should work together to expose their deception following the order of Allah:

Muslim Charity leaders in USA on trial again!!!


The Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) — once the largest
American Muslim charity — never funded violence. It simply provided food,
clothes, shelter, medical supplies and education to the suffering people in
Palestine and other countries.

*HLF: A victim of 9/11 hysteria*
On December 4, 2001, the United States government shut down the HLF,
accusing it of financially supporting the Palestinian militant group Hamas.
Embarrassing for them, the U.S. government never found a single piece of
evidence showing that the HLF financed Hamas. So they changed their
accusations. Nearly 3 years later, the U.S. government's new claim was that
the HLF supported organizations — zakat committees — that were somehow
linked to Hamas. The closure of the HLF was obviously motivated by politics
and fear.

*About the trial*
The HLF trial began Tuesday, July 16, 2007. The five defendants are Ghassan
Elashi, Shukri Abu-Baker, Mufid Abdulqader, Abdulrahman Odeh and Mohammad
El-Mezain. These noble Palestinian-American gentlemen are innocent and their
only crimes were helping ease the plight of the Palestinians. On Monday,
October 22, 2007, U.S. District Judge A. Joe Fish declared a mistrial
because jurors deadlocked on all of the counts against four defendants. One
defendant, Mohammad El-Mezain, was aquitted on all but the first charge. The
government plans to retry the case, starting September 22, 2008.

*Are we repeating history?*
Something is very familiar about the HLF case, but that doesn't make it
right. Did Japanese-Americans deserve to be thrown in internment camps?
Nope. Did African-Americans deserve to eat at segregated restaurants, sleep
in segregated hotels or drink from segregated water fountains? Nope. Does
the HLF deserve to be persecuted for feeding Palestinian orphans and widows?
Again, nope.

*Who should really be on trial?*
For nearly half a century, Israel has occupied Palestine and denied
Palestinians their basic human rights. The occupation has caused numerous
horrifying outcomes such as the destruction of homes, the killing of
innocent children and even the establishment of checkpoints around the West
Bank, Gaza and Jerusalem. So we ask: If occupation obviously shatters lives,
while charity builds them and charity feeds children, while occupation kills
them, why is a charity organization — not occupation — paying the price?

This is Noor Elashi, the daughter of a defendant in the Holy Land Foundation
Retrial.
During the past three weeks, I have felt my heart shatter a few times as I
witnessed prosecutors use vindictive approaches such as character
assassination, fear-mongering and guilt by association as an attempt to
convict my dad. Sitting in the courtroom, I've felt my blood boil and freeze
and boil again in a few seconds time. And as I looked behind me, my eyes
scanning the room in search for faces of encouragement and moral support, I
found that it was mostly empty with the majority of the benches unoccupied.
My dad and these men ran the largest American Muslim charity, saving
hundreds of thousands of lives worldwide. We should be tremendously proud of
them. They were honorable leaders in their communities. And now, they are
paying a price for sponsoring orphans, assisting widows, equipping clinics,
planting trees and wiping away tears.
I know you have your jobs and schoolwork and other priorities. But what if
this was your dad, your uncle, your cousin, your husband or your best
friend?
Gratitude from the bottom of my heart goes out to everyone who has attended
so far. I sincerely hope to see the rest of you soon.
Next week, the retrial will run from Tuesday, Oct. 14 to Friday, Oct. 17.
For the following four weeks or so, the retrial will take place Mondays
through Thursdays. You can come ANYTIME between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. (There's a

When I see the younger Muslim generation confused about the definition of a
Muslim and rejecting acceptable Mazhabs, I get scared.

When I see the younger Muslim generation impressed by the western culture,
neglecting the Islamic culture, and ignoring Islamic education, I get
scared.

When I see the younger Muslim generation has little or no respect to parents
and elders, and ignoring the the strong commands of Allah to  be kind and
merciful to parents and elders, I get scared.

When I see the younger Muslim generation adopting the western culture of (I
want, I want, I spend I spend, I enjoy I enjoy), and neglecting the Islamic
traditions, I get scared.

When I see the younger Muslim generation guards their mobile phone more than
the Quran, I get scared.

When I see the younger Muslim generation using drugs that is rampant in the
western culture, I get scared.

When I see the younger Muslim generation confused about simple Islamic
teachings, I get scared.

When I see the younger Muslim generation belonging to feuding tribes, and
killing each other, I get scared.

When I see the younger Muslim generation killing innocent people, I get
scared.

When I see the younger Muslim generation  following questionable sects of
Islam and questionable Imams, I get scared.

When I see the younger Muslim generation are not aware what is happening in
Palestine, Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan, Somalia, Lebanon, and don't
at least  feel sorry for their Muslim Ummah,  I get scared.

When I see Muslim girls convert FROM Islam,  I get scared. I know 8 Muslim
Girls who converted FROM Islam:

   1.

   An Arab father, who is very confused about the basics of Islam:  His 2
   girls were also confused. Their father told them not to marry a Muslim, but
   marry a Jew, because Jews are good business people. They converted FROM
   Islam when they graduated from College.
   2.

   A Pakistani father, came to USA, impressed by the Western Freedom,
   married to an American lady who is still Christian, He doesn't pray and has
   visible alcohol in his house. His 2 girls are confused,  they converted FROM
   Islam when they graduated from College.
   3.

   A very loose Arabic Family, didn't pray, the mother colored her hair
   blond, and didn't wear Islamic dress. The daughter was brain washed by a
   college friend to Convert FROM Islam.
   4.

   Parents who  have a girl that graduated from Islamic school. They thought
   the school was enough. When the girl went to college, she loved a
   non-Muslim, and converted FROM Islam.
   5.

   An Arab father sent his daughter alone to USA to establish a business and
   become rich. She knew many Christians, and married a Christian business
   associate, and converted FROM Islam.
   6.

   An Arab father sent his daughter to study in USA. She lived the American
   pop culture, married a Jew, and converted FROM Islam

And this is not all. There are many other scary things happening in our
Ummah. They are the new Mongols who are far worse than the first ones.  This
new Mongols destroys the Islamic Identity of the Muslim Youth.

And when I see all this, I think to myself: What do I say to Allah on the
Day of Judgment?.

Should we get despair? Absolutely NOT. Islam is a religion of optimism and
hope.

In the present time, the Islamic Identity may be shaken, but NEVER defeated.

During the whole history of Islam, we have seen great achievements and great
calamities. Probably, the worst disaster faced the Islamic Ummah, was the
Mongolian destruction of most of the Islamic world.

Victory was achieved over the Mongol Empire by faithful Muslims. Similar
victory was accomplished during the Caliphate of Umar in 636 A.D. over both
the Romans and the Persians during a span of only 7 months. The Byzantines
made strong preparations to attack the Muslims, and concentrated a very
large army at Yermuk. Muslims won an astounding victory in 6 days at the
Battle of Yermuk in May 636 A.D. Jerusalem surrendered without a fight. In
November of the same year, Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas marched to Qadisiyya.
Persian army collapsed in 4 days.

The Mongol Empire was the largest contiguous empire in human history. The
13th and 14th century, when the empire came to power, is often called the
Age of the Mongols. They controlled 22% of earth. The Mongol armies during
that time were extremely well organized. The death toll (by battle,
massacre, flooding, and famine) of the Mongol wars of conquest is placed at
about 40 million according to some sources. Mongols through a series of
slaughtering attacks controlled lands from Korea up to Poland and Hungary,
and from the Indian ocean up to Russian cities, including Moscow and Kiev.

AlHamdLe Allah, This campaign got very many inspiring replies from
volunteers, from Indonesia and Malaysia to Bolivia and Chile. Muslim Youth
truly want our great Ummah back and establish our Islamic Identity. They
want to see Ummat Muhammad (PBUH) deserves the name Islam and Muhammad
(PBUH), our beloved last Messenger of Allah.

This campaign has volunteers whose number far exceeds my expectation. Many
offered to do much more than sending our articles to their contacts, which
is by itself a great Dawah effort. I received inspiring ideas to extend this
campaign further.

This campaign started actually 2 years ago by Br. Inshrah khan and Yahoo
user group [EMAIL PROTECTED]  He contacted me and we
agreed to cooperate together. He also has a website:

This campaign has a Dutch volunteer brother who started his Dutch websites,
and already translated 2 articles to Dutch in his websites.

This campaign  has volunteers from 9 years old girl, my granddaughter Dannah
Diebas, to 80 years old Pakistani brother.

This campaign has a Latino volunteer girl, 12 years old. I know her father,
Isa Valdez, who converted about 15 of his friends to Islam. He called me and
said his daughter Nusrat likes to volunteer and she will talk to kids in
mosques, camps and school about this campaign. Can You Imagine how I felt?

This campaign has volunteers that pledged to talk in local Mosques and
Muslim youth organization.

This campaign  has a volunteer who works in Austria and UK and has an
Islamic Association; he pledges to get all his members as volunteers in this
Campaign.

This campaign has an Imam in a mosque who devotes most of his Friday
Khutbahs to Islamic Youth Awakening.

I pray to Allah that this Campaign reaches the hearts of every Muslim youth,
even those who are skeptical that this Campaign will  reach its goal.

InShaa Allah, starting from next Monday, we will start the Islamic Youth
Awakening (Sahwah) Campaign.

O Allah, this is our humble effort, please help us to achieve our goals of

Working with a small group of Muslims, and listening to many youth, we

   - Can moderators of this group commit only one day to Islamic Youth
   awakening with this title and promote this campaign and invite members to
   post articles about this cause each Monday?

Why am doing this? I am 67 years old and VERY proud Muslim? I love Our
Quran, and Our Prophet. I believe we can be a great Ummah again, by focusing
on Muslim Youth, the engine of our greatness. I have seen Muslim Youth in
Muslim countries and the west.

I know and expect some negative comments. That is fine. I heard them before,
when I published my first book, or when started contacting Muslims about
this Campaign. Actually I got 3 negative comments already, out of hundreds
of very encouraging comments that brought tears of happiness to my eyes. The
first negative comment was  Why are you  doing this? Do you think you can
can do that alone? There are many youth groups and no one achieved a single
dent,    My answer was  I am a Muslim, and I just have to try, and if
this campaign reaches its goal in 5 to 10 years, then that is an effort
worth waiting for  The goal is one million Muslim youth join this campaign
each year, and YES CAN DO THAT WITH THE GRACE OF ALLAH.

  Few days ago, I had a chat  with brother Jibril Aqil Ali. He introduce 
himself as a Latino Muslim. I was so happy to chat with him. 
  In the same day, I had another chat window with Sister Zainab. She told me 
that she is a converted Muslim from Philippine. Again, I was extremely happy. 
Two converted Muslim in one day chatting with me. Subhana Allah. Can you 
imagine how I felt? Can our Westernized Muslim youth look at her story, and see 
how a Christian become committed Muslim.  Sister Zainab should be an 
inspiration to Muslim Youth. I truly believe that converts to Islam are one of 
the few bright spots in our Islamic Ummah. 
  I asked Sister Zainab to send me his story. He graciously accepted, and here 
is his story:
  Dear Dr. Adel Elsaie;
  Assalamu alaikum waramatullahi wa barakatuhu!
  I am Zainab Oñez, 24 years old, single never been married, a graduate of 
Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Marketing at Holy Cross of Davao 
College Inc, Philippines. I was a former Roman Catholic and I am one of the 
working Scholars in SVD or society Verbini Divini, a religious congregation in 
the Catholic religion for 6 years. Previously, my plan was to become a nun. 
When I was at the young age of 14, I used to ask myself why many people would 
have debates about the Christian religion. I had realized maybe God has given 
one religion to all mankind. When I reached the age of 20, I started to 
research on the internet and I read about how ISLAM IS A WAY OF LIFE. And I was 
getting shocked, why was Catholisism not a way of life? I started to research 
more about Islam because it was my first time to hear about Islam.
  I printed all the Islamic research that I had found from the internet and 
showed them to our professor. He was getting angry with me; why I was studying 
about Islam; Muslims are terrorists; Muslims are bad people; Muslims worship 
another God. I considered this as a challenge and was encouraged to study more 
about Islam. After two years of studying about Islam I decided to embrace Islam 
last February 21, 2006. 
  Alhamduillah, I am only one Muslim among with our family and I am now working 
as a volunteer in Dawah Islamic propagation in Davao city. My entire Christian 
friends were against me in my new Islamic way of life. I don’t care what other 
people say.  The most important thing is that this is my decision and I know 
that this is the true religion of Allah SWT given to all mankind. Allah said in 
  Surah al Imram 3:19 INNAD DEENA IND ALLAH  ISLAM- TRULY THE RELIGION WITH 
ALLAH IS ISLAM.  
  And in Surah al-Imram 3: 85 thoseover seek a religion other than Islam it 
will never be accepted of him, and in the hereafter he will be one of the 
losers. 
  That is why I spend my life in Dawah for Muslim and non-Muslim area because 
this is the true religion of Allah that has given to all mankind. The first big 
jihad for me is wearing of hijab and abaya but alhamdulillah with the help of 
Allah I got my self-confidence of wearing in proper attire. Most of Christian 
friends say, what happened to you Zainab, you look like a ghost but I smile at 
them, and say you do not understand what you are talking about and it is better 
for you to study  your Bible because even  the Bible is very strict for the 
woman:
   1 Corinthian 11:5-6 says
  but any woman who prays or prophesies with her head unveiled disgraces her 
head—it is one and the same thing as having her head shaved. For if a woman 
will not veil herself, then she should cut off her hair; but if it is 
disgraceful for a woman to have her hair cut off or to be shaved, she should 
wear a veil.
  If Christians read their Bible carefully and understand their Bible, all of 
them will become Muslims.
  I am now enjoying  making my comparative study of religion and inshaAllah I 
am hoping to be like Ahmad Deedat a good daeyah or preacher in our Islamic 
religion. Now, I am always hoping to focus on study in Arabic education 
inshaAllah if Allah given me an opportunity to study in Saudi Arabia inshaAllah.

  Few days ago, I had a chat  with brother Jibril Aqil Ali. He introduce 
himself as a Latino Muslim. I was so happy to chat with him. I truly believe 
that converts to Islam are one of the few bright spots in our Islamic Ummah. I 
asked brother Jibril to send me his story. He graciously accepted, and here is 
his story:
   
  After my separation of marriage of 10 years, my biggest regret was not 
instilling or sharing the knowledge of God as I knew him as a believer in 
Christianity with my wife and more importantly my children who are most dear to 
me whom which I had dedicated to God as I knew Him then. My oldest brother 
Ali Martinez was the first and only Muslim in our family at the time and he 
had converted to Islam while Imprisoned in  1977 and was my first influence who 
shared his belief in stages to me. The second in our family was my Nephew 
Hakim Malik Toro who took Shahada in 1987 as a 5% Nation Member and came to 
True Islam taught by the Prophet (PBUH) while incarcerated. He shared his 
knowledge of Islam in stages also with me. I became a father 1st in 1997 and I 
named my first born Imanuel Jabril Martinez out of respect for Christianity, 
Islam and the family. My second was born in 2001 and was named Issac Ali 
Martinez. Now my brother Ali was killed in 1992 in the Bronx New
 York and many of the Christian members of our family in some ways blamed Islam 
for his death and for my nephews incarceration and then came 911. so I 
continued my life walking in limbo so to speak and practiced neither until my 
separation of marriage and a motorcycle accident that left me Spleenless and 
near amputated leg looking to God and believe it or not, Thanking The Almighty 
for it all. So I went to my ex-wife one day and apologized and expressed to her 
my regret of not sharing nearly enough religion with her in all our years 
together especially due to the fact that she is from Cuba and had so little 
knowledge of God and religion. So I expressed to her my desire to live a 
righteous life and teach our children like wise and asked if she would aid me. 
I told her that I was sorry for buying her a Bible that was in old Spanish 
and difficult to understand and that if I bought her a newer Spanish version 
would she read it and help me raise the children in the knowledge
 Of God? She answered No. I don't think so and frankly don't bother' She had 
no interest. I told her fine but not to interfere with me and (raising in the 
knowledge of God) the Boys when they are with me. I went home that night and 
wept and prayed and demanded that God show me once and for all AM I A 
CHRISTIAN, MUSLIM, BUDDHIST, JEW, JEDI OR WHAT? Because I did not want my 
children to suffer in this life or the after life because of my ignorance. In 
order to teach them I had to be taught and I had to be right. So I typed into 
my Netflix account search: Islam, God, Christianity, Judaism etc. went on line 
and did the same and read all I could and watched all I could on the matter and 
most of all prayed. I visited the local Mosque and got literature on Islam. I 
read very briefly about Jesus and the divinity being conceived in 325 a.d in a 
foot note but didn't think much more about it for I had a lot of videos to 
watch. I started to see the Truth that the culture and
 practice of Islam was not at all how the media portrayed it. It was not 
intimidating but actually quite inviting. It was beautiful, peaceful, powerful 
and oh so Inspiring. But the Christ and the divinity issue was so strongly 
instilled in me it held me back. I needed to know and understand more. Then 
It arrived. The video History Channel's a History of God a search for 
monotheism: Jews, Christians and Muslims. It talked in dept about the myths of 
Christmas and and Christ and the divinity and the Trinity and The Counsel of 
Nicea That The trinity and divinity of Christ came 325 a.d. That was It. I 
took Shahada right there and then. I went to the Mosque the following Friday 
03/30/07 after calling my nephew and sharing what I have learned and asking him 
to go with me. I took the Qu'ran and Islam and ran with it and have been 
running ever since Alhumdullillah. That's My story in brief. Asalmu Alaikum and 
Jazak Allahu Khairun for your time.

budget deficit, Huge trade deficit with China ( Almost everything in America is

  Does anyone expect peace from George Bush visit to the the Middle East. This 
man is a war maniac, the word peace does not exist in his vocabulary. So what 
are the real reasons for his visit:

 Total support of Israel as usual, and ignore all the Palestinian 
legitimate issues: the daily massacres  of Palestinians, illegal settlements, 
Jerusalem,  and Palestinian refugees and prisoners freedom fighters. His main 
concern is  security of Israel from the home-made Palestinian rockets 
launched from Gaza. He is confused if George Washington and his troop are 
terrorist or freedom fighters. After Bush  left Israel, there are massacres 
every day of tens of Palestinians. It certainly looks like he have given Israel 
the green light to finish the Palestinians in Gaza, and hurt them very badly in 
the west bank. And what is worst, the 1.5 million Palestinians in Gaza are 
under siege without electricity, food, gas,  between Israel and Egypt both. 
This is really human tragedy, and Bush, and his puppet leaders in the Middle 
east are responsible. At least Egypt is honest, they have ministry of war, no 
one knows against what. But Israel has IDF, which is Israeli Defense
 Forces, which should be called Israeli Destruction Forces.
  
 Instigate more fear in the region about Iran and Syria, which are the 
closest unfriendly countries to Israel. Then sell weapons to moderate Arab 
countries for $20 billion . Furthermore, Robert Gates, the secretary of 
Defense offered the Gulf states to sell them the National Missile defense. 
The US Administration needs billions of dollars to offset a minute fraction of 
the money spent on their adventures in Iraq and Afghanistan.
  
 Emphasize the danger of Syria and Iran, the biggest supporters of 
Hezbollah, which is the biggest nightmare of Israel. Hezbollah defeated Israel 
in 2006 after a glorious battle that lasted 34 days.
  
 Bush, Pharaoh of earth, and his moderate kings and presidents replace 
the daily terror of Israel with a very far fetched terror that Iran will build  
Atomic bombs, and destroy its neighbors in the Middles east. The average 
citizen does not believe anything coming from the Pharaoh of earth. Bush is 
selling his vision of the war on terror as follows: first, secular Arabs 
fight Muslims; second, Sunnis fight Shias. So Israel can enjoy its security on 
the expense of destroying its neighbors. And the best scenario is that these 
neighbors destroy each other.
  
 Bush, Pharaoh of earth, push for more divisions between Arabic countries. 
During Othman Caliphate, all Arabic countries were 4 states:  Arab Peninsula, 
ElSham (north of Arab Peninsula), Egypt and Sudan, and North Africa. Now they 
are 22 Arabic Countries. If Bush and Israel play their cards right, Iraq will 
be divided into 3 pieces, Palestine will be divided into 2 pieces, Sudan will 
be divided into 4 pieces, and the game is not over yet.
  
 Support the Arab moderate leaders , so they look more International 
leaders. Perhaps, the headlines of the moderate government Media , in the 
next weeks and months, will emphasize that Bush listened to the wisdom and 
vision of the president to solve all problems on Earth.

  Bush is never sincere with the Muslim world. He will always find puppets who 
are overwhelmed with fading American culture and technology, and who just want 
to keep their seats as long as they live, then give their seats as inheritance.
  Bush can't declare war on Iran, because of Congress and massive global 
opinion. But he can lie about Iran attack on the USA Navy. In this case he does 
not need the congress to approve war, because USA is under attack. Please 
remember all his lies before invading Iraq, and the CIA report that said 
clearly that Iran didn't have nuclear bomb program since 2003.
  Therefore it is no wonder how the Iranian boats provocation of the US Navy 
was blown out of proportion by the US Administration and the conservative US 
media.
  The Iranian provocation in the straits of Hormuz has set the stage for a 
new crisis manufactured wholly by the War Party in USA, the rationale for 
which is uncritically accepted by our passive mainstream media. We are 
expected to believe that five minuscule speedboats threatened the USS Hopper, 
a destroyer armed with missiles; the cruiser USS Port Royal; and the USS 
Ingraham, a frigate. That's rather like five rats threaten a trio of 
elephants.  But that's not all. In addition to intercepting the American 
flotilla, CNN reports the Iranians supposedly issued explicit threats:
  In one radio transmission, the Iranians told the U.S. Navy: 'I am coming at 
you. You will explode in a couple of minutes,' the U.S. military officials told 
CNN.
  The Iranians, for their part, say nothing untoward

  (WASHINGTON, D.C., 11/1/2007) - CAIR today called on radio listeners of all 
faiths to contact companies that advertise on Michael Savage's 
nationally-syndicated radio program to express their concerns about the host's 
recent anti-Muslim tirade.
   
  Savage, whose The Savage Nation airs on more than 300 radio stations 
nationwide, screamed attacks on Muslims, Islam and the Quran during his October 
29, 2007, program. A number of concerned listeners contacted CAIR about 
Savage's attacks on Islam.
  Savage's shouted anti-Muslim attacks included:
   
  I'm not gonna put my wife in a hijab. And I'm not gonna put my daughter in a 
burqa. And I'm not gettin on my all-fours and praying to Mecca. And you could 
drop dead if you don't like it. You can shove it up your pipe. I don't wanna 
hear anymore about Islam. I don't wanna hear one more word about Islam. Take 
your religion and shove it up your behind. I'm sick of you.
   
  What kind of religion is this? What kind of world are you living in when you 
let them in here with that throwback document in their hand, which is a book of 
hate. Don't tell me I need reeducation. They need deportation. I don't need 
reeducation. Deportation, not reeducation. You can take C-A-I-R and throw 'em 
out of my country. I'd raise the American flag and I'd get out my trumpet if 
you did it. Without due process. You can take your due process and shove it.
   
  What sane nation that worships the U.S. constitution, which is the greatest 
document of freedom ever written, would bring in people who worship a book that 
tells them the exact opposite. Make no mistake about it, the Quran is not a 
document of freedom. The Quran is a document of slavery and chattel. It teaches 
you that you are a slave.

  Michael Savage has a long history of rhetorical attacks on Muslims and other 
minorities. In 2004, Savage stated: I think [Muslims] need to be forcibly 
converted to Christianity...It's the only thing that can probably turn them 
into human beings. In 2006, he called for a ban on Muslim immigration and 
recommended making the construction of mosques illegal in America.

  Michael Savage obviously cares little about the safety or civil rights of 
American Muslims, but the stations that carry his hate-filled rants do care 
about listeners' attitudes toward advertisers who pay to air commercials during 
his program, said CAIR Communications Coordinator Amina Rubin. Americans of 
all faiths should take a few minutes to contact any local station that 
broadcasts Savage's inflammatory tirades to say they will not buy the goods or 
services of his advertisers.
   
  Rubin added that hate-filled words can and do lead to violent actions against 
American Muslims. She said there have been several recent apparently 
bias-related incidents targeting mosques, Islamic institutions and Muslim 
individuals nationwide.
   
  In Ohio, Nazi swastikas and the phrase white power were spray-painted on a 
Toledo Islamic school and rocks were thrown at worshipers outside a Columbus 
mosque. In Texas, a shot was fired into a mosque. In New York, a Muslim woman 
was badly beaten in a bias attack. In California, arsonists torched one mosque 
and a group of men attacked another. In Maryland, vandals slashed the tires of 
vehicles owned by a Muslim activist.
   
  CAIR's latest annual report on the status of American Muslim civil rights 
showed a 25 percent increase in the total number of complaints of anti-Muslim 
bias from 2005 to 2006.

  Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week, a series of events starting Oct. 22, will take 
place on hundreds of campuses across the country. Conservative pundit David 
Horowitz, the brainchild behind the affair, says that Islamo-Fascism Awareness 
Week is a conservative protest against the Islamic crusade against the West as 
well as the left’s censorship on matters concerning these issues. 
  If schools are willing to host such events, then Horowitz has every right to 
bring Islamo-Fascism week to universities. However, to place it under the guise 
of awareness, as if it’s under the same umbrella as Mental Health Awareness 
Week or Breast Cancer Awareness Week is misleading. No matter what its 
organizers say, Islamo-fascism Awareness Week does not serve to educate, but 
rather to fuel bigotry and fear. 
   
  The most glaring indication that the program has a sinister motive is in the 
name itself. By branding the week as “Islamo-Fascism,” it immediately sets up a 
charged atmosphere targeting a group of people based on race and religion. It 
also immediately simplifies very complex issues into the current stereotypes of 
terrorism perpetuated by media and pundits. 
   
  These events are reminiscent of the Red Scare Era, when fear of Communism 
swept across the nation. Many innocent people, targeted because of their jobs, 
sexual orientation and other miscellaneous reasons, became victims in the 
infamous witch hunt led by Senator Joseph McCarthy. Islamo-fascism week feeds 
that same fear, the fear of an unknown or misunderstood entity. The fear that 
gripped this country during the ’50s has now transformed into a fear of a 
racial group who practices a peaceful religion. In this country, ignorance and 
the media have helped maintain the stereotype that a terrorist is Muslim, looks 
a certain way and is from a certain region. Islamo-Facism Awareness Week only 
contributes to keeping this wrongful image alive. 
   
  These events also contribute to the divide and the unnecessary 
“us-versus-them” mentality. By linking the week to Islam and Muslims, it 
creates the binary atmosphere and alienates individuals. Already, there are 
dozens of Web sites promoting the event; one urges “Americans” to mark their 
calendars and learn about “Islam and their quest for world domination ... Learn

  In response to Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week, several student groups on 
campus have organized their own events to illustrate the counterarguments that 
Horowitz’s program might not discuss. The best avenue for those opposed to 
Islamo-fascism week should not be to only focus on just setting up these 
meetings, but to also strive for a discussion that is fully open to conflicting 
arguments, instead of presenting a single-sided view. There are many 
politically conservative professors on campus who may share the same view as 
Horowitz and the host of guest speakers, but are willing to discuss their 
beliefs in a more academic and candid environment. Demonstrating these traits 
will give much more legitimacy to the alternative events. Islamo-Fascism 
Awareness Week seeks to divide people—don’t fall into the easy trap of adding 
to that split.

  Mohammed ElBaradei, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, IAEA, 
has warned that resorting to military action against Iran over its nuclear 
program would be an act of madness.  But this madness is nothing new in the 
present US Administration. The similarities of the events before the ill fated 
war on Iraq is a copy of the current events leading to a global catastrophe by 
the impending war on Iran. Any casual reader of newspapers understands the 
current events and their catastrophic implications.
   
  Knowing the level of arrogance of George Bush (the American Nero), would any 
one expect him to accept his legacy as an the first American President to start 
a preemptive strike in the American history against Iraq with a total failure, 
and a approval rating of about 30%, and a big chance that the Democrats win the 
Presidency and Congress. He needs a victory no matter what the cost is. The 
Roman Nero put Rome on fire, while the American Nero put the whole world on 
fire.
   
  The US administration’s propagandists are using exactly the same claims 
against Iraq in the current events leading to war against Iran. According to 
the US claims , diplomacy is failing with the fundamentalist Islamic regime in 
Iran. Isolation of Iran among its Muslim  moderate neighbors is happening now 
with enough signs of success.
   
  The US lost credibility in its military operation in Iraq, and the Israel 
lost credibility  in its military operation in Lebanon after 34 day war with 
the Hezbollah forces.
   
  Recent developments:
   
  September 17, 2007. French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner said the world 
should brace for a possible war over Iran's nuclear drive. Iran's official 
media launched a blistering attack on France on Monday after its foreign 
minister warned the world to brace for war, accusing Paris of taking an even 
harder line than Washington.
August 15, 2007. The Bush administration has leaped toward war with Iran by, in 
essence, declaring war with the main branch of Iran's military, the Iranian 
Revolutionary Guards Corps, which it plans to brand as a terrorist organization.
  Jan 19, 2007.  2nd US aircraft carrier (Stennis strike group) leaves for 
Gulf, first time since start of Iraq war. (NBC)Jan 15, 2007.  Sect. of Defense 
announce Iran is reason for carrier and Patriots. (If we attack Iran, they may 
launch missiles.)
Jan 10, 2007.  Bush announces 2nd carrier and Patriot anti-missile battalion 
will be deployed to the Gulf.
  Oct 3, 2006.  The Eisenhower carrier strike group left Norfolk Oct. 3, began 
operations, Oct. 30 and entered the Gulf Dec. 11. (www-navy-mil).
  Apr 18, 2006.  Bush keep open option of nuclear first strike against Iran.
  June 29, 2007. The Jerusalem Post, Report: Israeli Air Force preparing for 
Iran strike

Scenario for Madness
   
  This is a scenario of how the war on Iran will start (maybe with some changes)
   
  Day 1, in the near future.
   
  At 9: am Washington time, the US administration claims that Iran shot a 
rocket on one of our American ships in the Gulf. At noon, George Bush declares 
on TV around the words  God told me to strike at al Qaida and I struck them, 
and then he instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did, Now God commands me 
to strike Iran, which I am doing now
  The administration’s Ministry of Propaganda in the US media hails this step 
as getting rid of the last axis of evils, and claim the Iranian meets the US 
invasion with flowers as liberators.
  In the evening, US forces  attack Iran by missiles from the US fleet in the 
Gulf.
   
  Day 2, in the near future.
   
  Israel attacks Lebanon from the south with everything it has,  air force,  
navy, and a big Army. Hezbollah fights back fiercely  against the Israeli 
forces.
  US launches air strikes to destroy anti-aircraft capability, economic and 
nuclear facilities in Iran. Iran is not Iraq; Iran is smarter than Iraq's 
Saddam.  Iran fires anti-ship missiles based at Abu Mousa island that control 
the narrow Strait of Hermuz at the entrance of the Persian Gulf on super 
tankers crossing the Strait. Iran could easily close the strait thus blocking 
all naval traffic carrying gulf oil to the rest of the world, causing a global 
oil crisis. Every day, 17 million barrels of oil are shipped through the Strait 
of Hermuz. That’s a fifth of global oil exports, so a disruption would have 
been a nasty business, creating what Goldman Sachs called a “very significant 
impact on oil balances” and an immediate market shortfall of a couple of 
million barrels a day.

  Here is a case where Muslims have 2 Fatwa for establishing the beginning and 
end of Ramadan. If we have Caliph for the Islamic Ummah, many of our Fiqh, 
political, fighting problems will be solved InShaa Allah. May Allah have mercy 
on us.
  Can we say that this is a case of multiple correct answers? I just pray to 
Allah SWT that no Muslim, somewhere, accuses me of not being a Muslim (Wa 
Aliyaz Bi Allah) for asking this question. Believe me I am Muslim, Al Hamd le

  Evidence for this is an incident in which the Prophet (SAW) witnessed the 
companions disputing, but did not rebuke them for doing so. The incident 
relates to the dispute regarding the Asr prayer on their way to Bani Qurayzah. 
The Prophet instructed the companions to go and fight the Jews. He said, Do 
not pray until you get to Bani Qurayzah. On route to Bani Qurayzah the time 
for Asr was drawing to a close. A dispute ensued. One group understood the 
prophet's command metaphorically, thinking that the Prophet (SAW) meant hurry 
up. A party of the believers prayed there whilst the others prayed after Asr 
time when they arrived at Bani Qurayzah. 
   
  When they next met the Prophet (SAW) they asked him who was right and who was 
wrong. It is important to note the response. Only one of them could have been 
right, but the Prophet (SAW) did not point out who that was, rather he said, 
Whoever performs ijtihad and errs will receive one reward. Whoever performs 
ijtihad and arrives at the correct answer gets double the reward. 
  Had it been haram to differ, the Prophet (SAW) would have rebuked those 
differing from the correct opinion and praised those who were right. This 
example teaches us to tolerate opposing Islamic opinions which are arrived at 
by those qualified to do so after performing ijtihad. 
   
  The scholars in the past recognized this; The most learned amongst the 
people is also one who is most knowledgeable of the difference amongst the 
people (Ghazali, Shawkani, Abu Zahrah)
   
  Before performing Ijtihad it is a prerequisite for a scholar to be aware of 
all the differences on the issue at hand.

  The last words of Jesus on the cross come as a big embarrassment to Christian 
scholars. First, there are four different versions in the Gospels according to 
Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These verses are part of a Christian doctrine of 
divine inspiration. If God had inspired these four writers, why did God inspire 
them to record different words? These verses are not just different words, but 
totally different concepts. 
  The following are the last words of Jesus:
   

 In Matthew 27:46 Jesus’ last words were Eli, Eli, lama sabachtani? My 
God, my God, why have you abandoned me? (Mark 15:34) though it is Eloi instead 
of Eli 
  
 In Luke 23:46 Jesus cried: Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit. 
  
 In John 19:30, Jesus tasted the vinegar. Then he said,It is finished. 
Jesus bowed his head and died. 

 
  If God inspired the Evangelists, and if they considered Jesus the Son of God, 
then how could there be any discrepancy about the last words of God or the Son 
of God on Earth? How can these verses be part of a supposed divine 
inspiration? No Answer. One Christian Scholar has a simplistic answer: Jesus 
said all of the above! Then why none of divine inspirations stated all of the 
above? It seems that the reasonable statement should be the one that Jesus said 
in his own Aramaic language. Besides those words were reported in two Gospels, 
Matthew and Mark. But this statement raises more serious questions.
  The last words of Jesus according to Matthew and Mark represent an eternal 
mystery for Christianity. Why did Jesus think that God abandoned him? It is 
hard to believe that Jesus said that God abandoned him. There are three 
possibilities:
   

 He said that. Then, why did the Son of God think that his father abandoned 
him? Jesus told his disciples that he would die and rise from the dead in three 
days. He knew that he would die and be resurrected, so how can that be called 
abandonment? If he is the Son of God that came to save humanity with his blood, 
so how can that can be called abandonment? If he knew his mission in life, so 
how can that be called abandonment? This statement simply contradicts the 
entire New Testament. Many Christian scholars have the same trouble justifying 
this statement. 
  
 He did not say that. This means that Matthew and Mark were not accurate, 
and God did not inspire the Gospels, because God would not allow any 
inaccuracies. 
  
 The man on the cross was not Jesus! This may seem at first sight that it 
is an unreasonable idea. But if we know that the same sentence, word for word, 
exists in the songs of David, Psalm 22.1, one may be tempted to suggest that 
the man on the Cross was a Jew asking God for help from his Old Testament. 

 
  The Gospel of Barnabas gives the only reasonable explanation. The man on the 
cross was not Jesus. He was Judas. Barnabas reported that before the alleged 
arrest of Jesus, God commanded the Angels to take Jesus out of this world, 
Barnabas 215. Then God acted miraculously that Judas was so changed in speech 
and in face to be like Jesus that the apostles believed him to be Jesus, 
Barnabas 216. When Judas was taken to the cross, he did nothing else but cried 
out God, why hast thou forsaken me, seeing that the malefactor hath escaped 
and I die unjustly? Barnabas 217. The first sentence is a prayer of the Jews 
from Psalm 22:1, so Judas was praying to God from the Old Testament. The 
guardian angles of Mary ascended to the third heaven, where Jesus was in the

  After the last fiasco of the Korean Missionaries in Afghanistan, the Taliban 
agreed to free the 19 South Korean hostages on the condition that South Korea 
withdraws its troops within this year and halt missionary activities.
  According to Henry Lee, a mission leader based in Seoul, this kind of drive 
is a trait shared by many Koreans, sending them to dangerous regions.
  Henry Lee Works for Frontiers, one of the largest missionary church in USA 
working mainly on Muslims.

  Their advertising slogan is Serving, respecting and loving Muslims ... In 
the name of Jesus.
   
  For seven years, Lee worked with Muslims in another red zone, violence-torn 
Chechnya and Dagestan, located between the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea and

leaders. After being expelled from Russia in 2003, Lee worked as a mission 
pastor in Southern California. He now trains Korean missionaries for Frontiers, 
which works in Muslim countries.
   
  Lee teaches his students how to enter and gain trust in a Muslim community. 
All Asians have a mistrust of outsiders, Lee says. If I don't know you, I 
can't trust you. For missionaries in the Muslim world, it is even more true. 
Unless you break into that community, you cannot get them for the kingdom of 
God, Lee says.
   
  Lee also says it's nearly impossible to pull a Muslim out of his or her 
community. We do not do extraction evangelism, he says. We don't want to 
take them out of their community to build a new fellowship. I want to see God's 
fellowship built in that Muslim community, and then that community will last 
and reproduce.

Wednesday. Dozens of cars plummeted more than 60 feet into the Mississippi 
River, some falling on top one of another. A school bus sat at an angle on the 
concrete.
  Those that are interested can see video and pictures of the catastrophe at 
Hot Air.
   
  
  According to a report card released in 2005 by the American Society of Civil 
Engineers (ASCE), 160,570 bridges, or just over one quarter of the nation's 
590,750 bridge inventory, were rated structurally deficient or functionally 
obsolete. The nation's bridges are being called upon to serve a population that 
has grown from 200 million to over 300 million since the time the first 
vehicles rolled across the I-35W bridge. Predictably that has translated into 
lots more cars. American commuters now spend 3.5 billion hours a year stuck in 
traffic, at a cost to the economy of $63.2 billion a year. 
   
  America's gross domestic product in 2006 was $13.2 trillion-we can afford to 
have world-class infrastructure. As a stepping off point, we should insist that 
our elected representatives publicly acknowledge the risk of neglecting the 
bridges, roads and the other essential hardware that goes into making a modern 
civilization. Then we should hold them accountable for setting priorities and 
marshaling the requisite resources to repair our increasingly brittle society.
  The American Society of Civil Engineers warned in a report two years ago that 
between 2000 and 2003, more than 27 percent of the nation's almost 600,000 
bridges were rated as structurally deficient or functionally obsolete.
   
  It will cost 9.4 billion dollars a year for 20 years to eliminate all bridge 
deficiencies, the group said, adding that long-term under-investment is 
compounded by the lack of a federal transportation program.
   
  America must change its transportation behavior, increase transportation 
investment at all levels of government, and make use of the latest technology, 
the society's wide-reaching Report Card for America's Infrastructure added.
  The organization estimated that 1.6 trillion dollars were needed over a 
five-year period to categorize US infrastructure as in good condition.
   
  This really should be a wake up call for America, Democratic Senate 
Majority leader Harry Reid told reporters in Washington. We have 
infrastructure that is deteriorating and deteriorating.
   
  He said ever since the September 11 attacks of 2001, efforts had been geared 
to protecting against terrorism rather than maintaining basic infrastructure.
  Since, 9/11 we have simply taken our eye off the ball, he said.
   
  The war in Iraq could ultimately cost well over a trillion dollars — at least 
double what has already been spent — including the long-term costs of replacing 
damaged equipment, caring for wounded troops, and aiding the Iraqi government, 
according to a new government analysis.
   
  The Bush Admistration spends money on wars, and killing people, and ignoring 
the infrastructure in USA. They are satisfied with bridges that are 
structurally deficient or functionally obsolete.
   
  This raise a question in the mind of Muslims and believers:
   
  How many bridges in our life that are structurally deficient or functionally 
obsolete?
   
  Bridges of arrogance are structurally deficient or functionally obsolete
  Bridges of greed are structurally deficient or functionally obsolete
  Bridges of not respecting elders are structurally deficient or functionally 
obsolete
  Bridges of accepting Islam, the western way, are structurally deficient or 
functionally obsolete
  Bridges of Dictatorships are structurally deficient or functionally obsolete
  Bridges of secularism are structurally deficient or functionally obsolete
  Bridges of pluralism are structurally deficient or functionally obsolete
  Bridges of Islamophobia are structurally deficient or functionally obsolete
  Bridges of women nakedness are structurally deficient or functionally obsolete
  Bridges of not following Islam As Taught by Prophet Muhammad are structurally 
deficient or functionally obsolete
  Bridges of holding to this materialistic world are structurally deficient or 
functionally obsolete
   
  God taught us in the Holy Quran to say every day  Show us the straight way 
[bridge], [1,6] at least 17 times.
   
  And Muhammad, the Apostle of God said:
  On the Day of Judgment, everyone one will pass over

  As stated before, any repetition in the Quran of an Ayah requires special 
attention. Also we mentioned before, that the Quran includes over 700 verses 
that deal with scientific miracles. In our present time, some of these verses 
are understood, and some are not. This is because the Quran is a challenge to 
humanity throughout the generations until the end of the physical world. This 
challenge in no way represents a negative process, but a positive one that 
keeps humanity reflecting on the many miraculous signs of God.
   
  
  Vibration and Earth
   
  
  There are two Ayat, with almost the same words, that relate the earth to rain 
and oscillation. Translations and commentaries of the Quran do not exactly 
explain this relationship. However, we will attempt to explore this link. The 
following argument may shed some light on the exact meaning of this 
relationship. And Allah knows the best.
   
  Vibrations occur regularly in our surroundings. These are motions that repeat 
themselves. There are oscillating guitar strings, bells, diaphragms in 
telephones and speaker systems, and quartz crystals in wristwatches. Less 
obvious are the oscillations of the molecules of the air that transmit the 
sensation of sound, of the atoms in a solid that convey the sensation of 
temperature and of the electrons in the antenna of radio and TV transmitters.
   
  Vibration is divided into free and forced vibration. A person swinging in a 
swing without any other help is an example of free vibration. If a friend keeps 
on pulling or pushing the swing periodically, we have a forced vibration. Free 
vibration happens if the friend pulls or pushes once and then the swing is left 
to oscillate freely.
   
  One important property of oscillatory motion is its natural frequency, or the 
number of oscillations that are completed in one second. Any system has one or 
more natural frequencies of vibration depending upon its mass and how stiff it 
is. Resonance happens when a system is excited at one of its natural 
frequencies. The amplification of the sound from a radio is a case of 
resonance. When you move the station selector to get a certain station, you are 
actually bringing the frequency of the circuit in the radio in balance with the 
signal frequency of the selected station. When that happens, you get the 
maximum amplification of the sound. When you move the station selector, i.e. 
changing the circuit frequency from the input frequency, the sound decreases 
and then disappears.
   
  Allah defined precisely this case of forced vibration where an input with 
driving frequency causes plants to grow as follows:
  
Surah 22, Ayah 5 ...And (further) you see the earth barren and lifeless, 
but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), (oscillates), it 
swells, And it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs).
  Surah 41, Ayah 39 And among His Signs in this: thou seest the earth barren 
and desolate; but when We send down rain to it, it is stirred to life 
(oscillates) and yields increase. Truly, He Who gives life to the (dead) earth 
can surely give life to (men) who are dead. For He has power over all things.
  
  The existing translation refers to the Arabic word oscillate as it is 
stirred which does not reflect the actual Arabic word. A possible explanation 
of the above phenomenon is that when rain drops on the dead ground, it 
oscillates and grows. If there are seeds in the ground, rain causes them to 
grow or germinate. The exact mechanism of the effect of rain on germination may 
not be fully understood. However, this may be left to specialists in the field 
of botany to examine from the point of view of vibration.
   
  Regardless of discovering the exact mechanism of the above phenomenon, the 
above Ayat clearly describe a case of vibration. Understanding this phenomenon 
of vibration is undoubtedly a knowledge that was not available in the seventh 
century, and may not be fully understood in our present time. No one can claim 
that Muhammad was a master dynamist and knew about vibration. Where did he get 
this information? It is from the Master and Only Creator of vibration.
   
  
  The Relativity of the Time
   
  
  There is absolutely no ambiguity whatsoever in the Biblical description of 
the Creation in six days followed by a day of rest, the Sabbath, analogous to 
the days of the earthly week. This clearly shows the interjection of human 
concepts to a divine action. The word day, in the Bible, means the interval 
of time between two successive sunrises or sunsets for an inhabitant of the 
earth. When defined this way, the day is conditioned to the rotation of the 
earth on its own axis. It is obvious that, logically speaking, there can

Charity trial witness falters
   
  An Israeli intelligence agent whose earlier testimony linked a U.S.-based 
Islamic charity to Hamas acknowledged Thursday that none of the overseas 
charities it supported has appeared among hundreds of names on U.S. government 
terrorist lists.

The testimony seemed to cast doubt on a central element of the government's 
criminal case against former officials of the now-defunct Holy Land Foundation 
for Relief and Development. Prosecutors say the officials dispensed funds to 
terrorists under the guise of charity donations to community groups called 
zakat committees on the West Bank and Gaza , knowing that Hamas militants 
controlled the local groups and benefited from the funding.
   
  In his first day of cross-examination, the Israel Security Agency officer, 
identified only as Avi, struggled for answers when questioned about 
leadership of the overseas charities and whether they had Hamas ties before 
2001, when Holy Land Foundation still operated.

The organization, once the nation's largest Islamic charity, was closed by the 
U.S. government shortly after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. This was done on 
grounds that it funneled millions of dollars to Hamas over the years. Holy Land 
officials denied that. 

This week, in a move opposed by defense lawyers and questioned by some legal 
experts, an Israeli counterterrorism official was allowed to appear as an 
expert witness for the government. During that testimony, the courtroom was 
closed to the public and the media. 

Courts have sometimes allowed witnesses with unique firsthand knowledge of a 
crime to testify anonymously before juries. But this was believed to be the 
first time the government had asked -- and a judge had permitted -- a witness 
to testify as an expert without being identified to the accused. 

The agent, whose audio testimony was broadcast via closed-circuit television to 
a separate courtroom for the media and spectators, began his second day on the 
stand. He described alleged connections between Hamas and nine Palestinian 
charities funded by Holy Land in the West Bank and Gaza . 

He said the Islamic Charitable Society of Hebron, for example, was Hamas' 
largest and most important fund-raising arm in the West Bank and was controlled 
by Hamas activists.

It is no secret in the territories who controls these committees, he said.

But on cross-examination, the agent said he could not recall where or when 
anyone other than an Israeli intelligence official might have read or otherwise 
known that specific zakat committees or board members had ties to Hamas. In 
prior court papers, Holy Land officials have maintained that they never 
supported Hamas and did not have any reason to believe the charity committees 
were run by Hamas.

Defense lawyers also elicited testimony that other large charities such as Holy 
Land Foundation in England and Holland --also identified by Avi as part of 
Hamas' global network--have been cleared after investigations in those 
countries. Acknowledging that a British charity called Interpal was allowed to 
reopen after a commission ruled that there was no evidence against it, the 
agent added: Clearly, they didn't have my evidence.

  Growing up I was an only child and had plenty of time to reflect. I saw my 
Mothers struggles trying to be a good Christian funny thing is when ever she 
asked meaningful questions she was always turned away. We pounced around from 
church to church. Never finding what she was looking for. I always new My God 
and he were very kind to me but I was very lonely growing up I didn’t consider 
myself a Christian. I just couldn’t believe that the Bible was completely the 
word of God. I always knew something was missing, something just wasn’t right. 
I knew the Prophets were real. It was the stories I felt had been corrupted 
over time.
  I only had my God, and I always new in my heart I would someday make God 
(Allah Subhanna Watallah) proud of me. I was visited by what I believe to be 
was Angels, they didn’t show themselves. I think they felt sorry for me because 
I was so sad. I was told one day you will be a big part of something that comes 
from God (Allah Subhanna Watallah). I was only about seven years old, but it 
made me cry. I felt safe happy calm. I always used that day as strength when I 
felt at the end of my rope. 
  Then in October 1998 I was traveling around Europe and on one occasion I was 
asked if I knew who Mohammed (saw) was. I replied Mohammed Ali the boxer? The 
questioner laughed at me. I didn’t find it amusing, so I asked him who was this 
Mohammed then. The man told me he was a messenger. I said messenger of what he 
said Islam. I had never heard this word before “Islam” I asked what is Islam he 
said “it’s a religion” (the amazing thing was I had never heard about Islam the 
entire 25 years of my life). I said like Hinduism or Buddhism? He said NO 
Mohammed (saw) was the last messenger. I said Jesus (as) is the last messenger. 
He went on to tell me not only was Mohammed (saw) the last messenger who came 
after Jesus (as) but he also had a book, the Quran and it is unchangeable 
unlike the Bible that was rewritten by King James. At this point I was very 
interested in knowing more but had no time to listen further, but that day was 
the day a seed was planted in my heart, it grew and
 grew and even today it continues to grow. I carried on learning and asking 
questions. For example I saw things in my travels like one morning the people 
(full of Muslim people) I was staying with all got up for breakfast and my 
friend was arguing with one of them. He said to him come on and eat with us the 
man happily said, “No thank you, I’m ok”. I looked at this man and wondered why 
he is happy not to eat with us. What is this book he is holding in his hands so 
respectfully? I later learned and realized that morning was the first day of 
Ramadan and he was reading the Quran. He was the only Muslim that was observing 
Ramadan.  On another occasion I was walking with a friend and there was a group 
of people walking in the other direction and they called out to my friend and 
said to him come on come with us. My friend said no thank you I’m fine. I later 
learned and realized that those people were calling him to pray (my friend of 
course being a Muslim) couldn’t be bothered.
 That friend of mine was like a brother, actually he is my brother in Islam, 
but his faith is weak. Even today he will tell me don’t be a Muslim it’s not a 
good life. What he doesn’t realize it was because of

  DALLAS — One of the most prominent anti-terror prosecutions of the past 
decade opened Monday as government lawyers and those representing leaders of a 
Muslim charity began quizzing potential jurors.
   
  The men on trial in federal district court aren't accused of being 
terrorists. Rather, they are charged with funneling millions of dollars to the 
militant group Hamas, which allegedly used some of the money to support the 
families of suicide bombers in the Middle East.
   
  Although the FBI investigated the men and the charity in the 1990s, the Bush 
administration raised the profile of the case since Sept. 11. President Bush 
announced the seizure of the charity's assets in a Rose Garden news conference 
three months later, in December 2001.
   
  Defense lawyers say the men and the charity, the Holy Land Foundation for 
Relief and Development, helped build hospitals and schools for Palestinians 
living under Israeli occupation but are not connected to Hamas.
   
  The defendants and their supporters claim the prosecution is based on 
anti-Arab bias.
  The trial before District Judge A. Joe Fish is expected to last several 
months. Prosecutors and defense lawyers are expected to lay out the case in 
opening statements next Monday.
   
  Just picking a jury is expected to take all this week. Lead prosecutor James 
T. Jacks asked Fish to drop a family counselor after she hedged about following 
the judge's instructions on the law. The judge said he would rule later.
  The defendants, all dressed in business suits, sat at tables arranged in a 
U-formation. Before the session started, they exchanged smiles and glanced 
occasionally at family members in the back row of the small courtroom.
  The defendants named in a 42-count indictment in 2004 are Holy Land, which 
federal authorities raided and shut down in December 2001; Shukri Abu Baker, 
the charity's president; Ghassan Elashi, its chairman; Abdulrahman Odeh; 
Mohammad El-Mezain; and Mufid Abdulqader. Two other men named in the indictment 
remain fugitives.
   
  The charges include supporting a foreign terrorist group, money laundering, 
conspiracy and filing false tax returns.
  According to the indictment, Holy Land raised more than $57 million from 1992 
to 2001 and sent about $36 million to individuals and groups tied to Hamas, 
including $12.4 million after President Clinton designated Hamas a terrorist 
group in 1995, which made contact with the group illegal.
   
  Elashi is in federal prison near Dallas on other convictions, including 
financial dealings with a top Hamas official. Baker, Odeh, El-Mezain and 
Abdulqader have been free while preparing for the trial, according to a 
prosecution spokeswoman.
   
  In a court filing in May that spelled out much of their case, prosecutors 
said Holy Land was sometimes called The Fund and was an integral part of the 
Hamas social infrastructure. They said the organization was created to 
support the Hamas agenda, which includes suicide bombings and other terrorist 
attacks.
   
  Prosecutors said documents seized in 2004 from the Virginia home of an 
unindicted co-conspirator showed that Elashi, Baker and El-Mezain were part of 
a committee coordinating support for Hamas in the United States. Prosecutors 
said the FBI monitored the committee's actions, including meetings to discuss 
raising money for Hamas.
   
  The investigation into Holy Land lasted more than a decade and included 
surveillance and wiretaps. Prosecution witnesses expected to testify include a 
retired Israeli Army colonel, a former Treasury Department official and expert 
on terrorism financing, and an unnamed person to discuss the structure of Hamas.
  Prosecutors indicated their evidence will include U.S. and foreign bank 
records, intercepted phone calls and faxes, and records seized by Israeli 
forces during military operations in the occupied West Bank.
   
  Defense attorneys said they will argue that most of the case against their 
clients is hearsay and flawed. They seized on summaries of FBI-wiretapped 
conversations that claimed Holy Land officials made anti-Semitic slurs. But the 
comments weren't found in the unabridged 13-page transcript.
   
  The defense plans to call its own experts, including scholars who have 
studied the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Prosecutors charged that defense 
lawyers are hoping to influence jurors with inflammatory testimony about 
Israel's operations against Palestinians.
   
  The political overtones of the case run deep.

  The Quran is full of reflections on the heavens. Instead of a continuous 
narration, there are verses scattered all over the entire Book which deal with 
certain aspects of Creation and provide information on the successive events 
marking its development with varying degrees of details. To gain a clear idea 
of how these events are presented, the scattered verses must all be examined 
together. This is quite easy now, since there are dictionaries for all the 
words in the Quran, and one can obtain all the Ayat that deal with a particular 
subject. Again, it is extremely important to keep in mind that the Quran is a 
Divine Book and not a science book. These verses are scattered in many chapters 
to serve the purpose of reflection on the Glory of the Almighty in many places 
and in many times. Occasionally, one listens to the Quran without grasping the 
divine meaning of the verse. When one is ready to receive and feel the meaning 
of a certain Ayah, then this becomes a great
 spiritual experience.
   
  The Expansion
   
  Expansion of the universe is one of the most awesome discoveries of the 
twentieth century. The evidences for expansion of the universe are so powerful 
to the extent that it is considered a fact. The discussions of cosmologists are 
focusing now on the mechanism and the factors that affect this expansion. 
  Allah refers to the expanding universe in the following verse:
  
Surah 51, Ayah 47 We have built the firmaments with might and we indeed 
have vast power.
  
  The above translation does not reflect the actual meaning of the Ayah. Any 
Arab speaking person will translate the above verse as follows:
  
We have built the skies with might and we indeed are expanding (them)
  
  The Arabic verb used means continually expanding, and refers to the previous 
noun that is the skies. Other translations of this verb include width and 
generosity, and to make them wider. One of the translations called The 
choice or in Arabic Montakhab, stated clearly its meaning that the universe 
is expanding.
   
  The fact is that Allah described the expansion of the universe in a short 
sentence. Muhammad stated this fact that took humanity ages to discover and 
measure. Who told him that? This fact could not be envisioned in the seventh 
century and authored by an unlettered Arab when he had no previous knowledge 
about cosmology. It must have been a divine inspiration!
   
  Interstellar Material
   
  Throughout the Quran, Allah refers to the skies and the earth and what is 
between them:
  
Surah 15, Ayah 85 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all that in 
between them, but for just ends. 
  Surah 50, Ayah 38 We created the heavens and the earth and all between them 
in six days, nor any sense of weariness touch us.
  
  What is in between the skies and the earth? The creation of the universe 
occurred by condensing the material of the primary nebula followed by its 
division into fragments that constituted the primary Protogalaxies, the first 
celestial bodies. The latter split up into galaxies, stars and planets. The 
concept of having some form of interstellar material was recently introduced to 
account for the huge missing mass of the universe. Does this interstellar 
material consist of cosmic strings that, if they exist, have tremendously dense 
matter and energy? Does this interstellar material consist of neutrinos or 
black holes? Here we are in the twenty-first century and we just do not know 
what is this ghost matter. Their more scientific name is interstellar 
material There is no doubt now that interstellar material exists and it can be 
imagined as bridges of material between or inside galaxies.
   
  Until recently, no one ever dreamt of a matter of such magnitude and weight 
existed. Yet an unlettered Arab in the seventh century spoke of this very same 
interstellar material. If he were the author of the Quran, how did he come up 
with such a concept that was only discovered recently? And the exact nature of 
this interstellar material is still unknown. These findings should further 
stimulate an attempt to understand and dissect each word of the Quran very 
carefully, thus shedding light on what we still do not know. And God Knows the 
Best.

Translating the whole Quran is a tremendous task. It requires scholars who 
are fluent in the Arabic language and the language to which the Quran is being 
translated. It also requires knowledge of the grammar of the two languages. If 
the translation is intended for those who are blessed with faith or for those 
who seek the basics of Islam, then the existing translations are a great dose 
of faith and spiritual guidance. May Allah rewards the translators of the Quran 
for their efforts in spreading the Words of God. If, on the other hand, the 
translation is intended to address the scientific miracles, the knowledge and 
mastering of the Arabic language is crucial as indicated in the case of the 
French surgeon Maurice Bucaille. He studied the Quran with an open mind for ten 
years. The purpose of his study was to form an opinion about contradictions in 
the Quran. He studied the Arabic language. Then after ten years of research, he 
declared in his books that he did not find one
 single scientific contradiction in the Quran. Another approach for the 
scientific translation of the Quran is to have an organization consisting of 
specialists of all branches of science such as cosmology, medicine, geology, 
anatomy, and engineering, as well as Islamic studies
   
  Some non-Muslims scholars claim that the translated Quran contradicts 
scientific known facts. There are many reasons for that. First, there may exist 
a conflict of theological interest. Second, the lack of knowledge of the Arabic 
language and its grammar can mislead the meaning of some verses. Also, the 
translation of the Quran to other languages may be, in some verses, difficult, 
thus not conveying the Arabic meaning of short sentences. Allah is the only 
Author of the Quran, and there are no contradictions in the Quran. Translations 
of the Quran are nevertheless the work of highly eminent Arabists. It is well 
known fact, that a translator, however an expert, is liable to make human 
mistakes in the translation of a highly specialized scientific Ayah, unless he 
happens to be a specialist in the discipline in question.
   
  An example of translating scientific verses in the Quran deals with the 
definition of the building block of all matters. Atoms were assumed to be the 
smallest unseen part of matter. Neither the atom nor its components can be 
seen. However, each atom has a weight, and scientists discovered the 
constituents of the atom. In one such Ayah, Allah addresses the unbelievers 
with a challenge about the weight and components of atoms:
  
Surah 34, Ayah 3 The unbelievers say’ never for us will come the Hour 
(Day of Judgment): say, Nay. But most surely, by my Lord, it will come upon you 
by Him who knows the unseen. From Whom is not hidden the weight of an atom in 
the heavens or on earth: nor is there anything less than that or greater, but 
is in the Record Perspicuous.
  
  The available translation refers to the above Arabic words the weight of an 
atom as the least little atom, and the word weight is taken out. This 
demonstrates the difficulty in translating the Quran. Thank God, anyone can 
refer to the original Arabic text and get better translation. From the above 
Ayah, one can state the following:
  
· The atom is unseen.
  · The atom is not the smallest thing in the universe.
  · The atom has a weight.
  
  Ancient commentators considered the weight of the atom to be equal to the 
weight of an ant! They believed this because the ant is the smallest thing that 
can be seen with the human eye. But this is not correct because the Ayah 
clearly refers to the unseen not the seen ant. When the fourth Caliph, Ali, the 
cousin of the Prophet, was asked about the meaning of the atom, he said:
  
If we look inside the atom, any atom, we will see a sun in its core. This 
statement, showing the spiritual vision of Ali, was never understood until the 
twentieth century. But it clearly simulates the atomic structure with that of 
the solar system.
  
  In my attempt to address the subject of the scientific miracles of the Quran, 
I tried to use the existing English translations. In many places, I found 
difficulty in using these translations. The following are some examples:
  

 Stars are translated as planets, and planets are translated as stars. 
  
 The basic rules of the conjunctions in the Arabic language are not 
translated correctly. For example, existing translations do not address the 
difference between Arabic conjunctions fa and thumma. The first implies 
immediate succession, while the second implies succession after a delay in 
time, and this can make a big difference in some branches of science such as 
cosmology and embryology.

  8. Be supportive to converts to Islam
  
Islam is the fastest growing religion. Converts to Islam have tremendous 
courage than many born-Muslims do not have. They convert against many odds that 
many times put a huge pressure on them. In USA, think of the growing Latino and 
Afro-American brothers and sisters, and include them in your activities, and 
don’t attempt to confuse them with our traditional confusions.
 
9. Avoid labeling Muslims
  
A Muslim is a Muslim. This is the only name that is used in Quran. However, 
there are Muslim groups who call themselves other names, or attach other 
identities to the word Muslim. There are the good, the bad, and the ugly. These 
labels include: Sunni, shiah, salafi, conservative, moderate, liberal, 
fundamentalist, radical, progressive, secular, pluralist, Qadianis, even gay 
and lesbian Muslims. These labels are invented from within, and imported from 
the worst part of western culture. The bad and ugly labels claim to be Muslims 
who wants to impose their poisonous ideas as a way of reforming the Islamic 
Ummah to match the worst part of western culture.
 
10. Have mercy and don’t kill or torture another Human being
  
The record of Human rights is the worst in Muslim countries among all nations 
on Earth. Can you believe a Muslim saying In the name of Allah, the most 
compassionate the most merciful, who kills or tortures another human being? Can 
you believe the torture that is subjected to political adversaries and Islamic 
groups in Muslim countries? Can you believe the difference between the super 
rich and super poor in Muslim countries? Can you believe the number of 
unemployed Muslims in Muslim courtiers?
 
May Allah be pleased with Umar, who was concerned about the well being of sheep 
in the land of Islam.
 
11. Thinking of the Danger of the Blind Common Adversary
  
Muslims have many blind common adversaries. These are the people that attack 
the religion of Islam in the western Media and propagate verses in the Quran 
taken out of context. These are the people who publish hateful anti-Islam 
websites. There are even “Muslim Users groups” that are controlled by Christian 
missionaries and pluralist “Muslims”.  These are the people that wrote their 
own version of Quran, and claim its superiority on our authentic Quran. These 
are the people that use WMD (Weapons of Missionary Deception) to convert 
uneducated poor, weak, or sick Muslims to Christianity. They have budget of $ 
6.8 billion a year. These common adversaries do not work individually, but 
within organization with a considerable budget. Muslims should work together to 
expose their deception following the order of Allah:
   
  (16.125) ”Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful 
preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious”
 
12. Sympathy for Those Who Do Not See the Light
  
The average non-Muslims do not see the light of Islam. They don’t attack Islam 
and Muslims. Muslims should not be angry with them or expose their 
shortcomings. A Muslim should seek Allah's help in making His message clearer 
to those who were listening.

  3. Unity of the Ummah
  
Unity of Ummah is a primary and important goal that we must strive for, and 
there is a serious warning from Allah for those who create division among 
Muslim.
 
(6:159) “As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects, thou 
hast no part in them in the least”
  
But our reality is we are divided into 57 nations, and most of them are divided 
further into tribes. Allah says there are no sects in Islam, but we have Sunni 
and Shiah sects. Against the orders of Allah, some Muslims believe their sect, 
country, or tribe is more important than Islam.
  
The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) is an international 
organization grouping 57 countries which attempt to pool their resources 
together, combine their efforts, and speak with one voice to safeguard the 
interests and secure the progress and well-being of their peoples and of all 
Muslims in the world. OIC is a great first step; however representatives of OIC 
are from Muslim governments who do not necessarily agree on matters of vital 
importance.
  
There is also an urgent need for association of Muslim scholars from all Muslim 
counties that settles dividing religious issues between Muslims. In the absence 
of Khilafah, this association should strive to bring unity and harmony between 
Muslims. They should meet frequently because Muslims are facing many problems. 
 
 
4. Assume first that you are wrong
  
Assume first that you, not your Muslim Brother, may be wrong, and see how you 
find the truth impartially. If you really want to find the truth, you can ask 
an Islamic scholar, or read accepted books.
 
5. Manners for Disagreement
  
You should be as enthusiastic about listening to your brother's evidence and 
argument as you are giving your evidence and argument, and be pleasant and 
smiling whether the result is for you or against you. In those areas where 
differences may arise due to ijtihad but will lead to disharmony, it is the 
right of the Khalifah to adopt an opinion which he believes to be correct and 
for the believers to obey. 
   
  Two Fiqh principles exist which state:
Imam’s decree settles disputes.
Imam’s decree is obeyed openly and privately.
  
When the Prophet (SAW) passed away and the companions were busy appointing the 
first Khalifah, a suggestion was made to have two leaders, one from the Ansar 
and one from the Muhajireen. Abu Bakr (RA) replied by saying that this will 
cause divisions and infighting, as well as people making bidah and would cease 
to refer to the Prophet's example in conducting their affairs. Abu Bakr (RA) 
had the insight to realize that without the one leader, problems would arise. 
So the many 'problems' that exist today are merely the symptoms of the MAIN 
problem, that being the absence of the leader of the Muslim Ummah.
  
In the absence of Khilafah, there is a vital need for an organization of 
Islamic scholars from all Muslim countries, to examine Islamic issues important 
to Muslims.

1. Definitions: Orders and Facts in the Quran
  
The Quran, the authentic book of God, has many orders and facts. Allah gives 
orders to believers, such as
  (22:78) So Establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to 
Allah! He is your Protector
  (3:103) “And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out 
for you), and be not divided among yourselves;”
 
Devout Muslims take orders from Allah very seriously. When they listen to an 
order from Allah, they say “We hear, we obey” (2:286)
 
Allah States many facts in the Quran, such as:
   
  (21:92)Verily, this Ummah of yours is a single Ummah, and I am your Lord and 
Cherisher, therefore, Serve me (and no other).
  
(23:52) And verily, this Ummah of yours is a single Ummah, and I am your Lord 
and Cherisher, therefore, Fear me (and no other).
  
Devout Muslims appreciate and respect the facts of the Quran, and consider them 
as guidance in life.
 
When verses are repeated in the Quran, they carry much importance and emphasis. 
The silent majority of Muslims believe in Unity of Muslim Ummah, but the chiefs 
are adamant about rejecting that for very obvious reasons.
 
2. Definition of Muslims
  
The definition of a Muslim can be understood according to the hadeeth of 
Jibreel AKA, more popularly known as the ‘Hadeeth Jibreel’, as narrated by Umar 
Ibn Al Khattab, when Jibreel asked the Messenger of Allah about Islam, he 
answered  Islam is that you witness that there is no god but Allah and that 
Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and you establish the prayer, and you give 
the Zakat, and you fast Ramadan, and you perform the hajj of the House if you 
are able to take a way to it.
  
All Muslims agree on principal matters in Islam. The Foundation of Islam is 
Shahadah as a declaration of faith. Muslims have one Quran, one Kaabah, and one 
last prophet. They accept all messengers in the Quran. They pray 5 times a day, 
fast Ramadan, pay Zakat, and perform Hajj when they can. There are 8 accepted 
Mazhab (school of thoughts) in Fiqh (jurisprudence). Every Muslim is free to 
accept a Mazhab. All Imams of accepted Mazhab never rejected other Mazhab. 
Allah made the Quran and Islam simple, but some people exert much effort to 
make them hard and confusing.

  My parents came to the United States from the Dominican Republic in the 60’s, 
an era of repression, persecution, and uncertainty. They came looking for 
better opportunities. They landed in the South Bronx at a time when there was 
lots of work available. I was later born in the Bronx, New York. Typical to 
most other Latinos, I was born into the Roman Catholic faith. My parents were 
faithful Catholics, who went to church every Sunday. Likewise, I learned to be 
a faithful Catholic. 
  My childhood memories include catechism classes, public school education, and 
lots of family. My immediate family gave refuge to friends and other family 
members who were also immigrants from the Dominican Republic hence I learned 
early on to look out for others less fortunate.
  Ever since childhood I always noticed that I was spiritual to say the 
least. For some reason, I found myself unlike the other children around me and 
because of it sometimes felt alienated. At age ten, I even had a vision of what 
at the time I thought was the Virgin Mary. However, looking back I now think 
the vision I had was of a lady in hijaab – the traditional covering of a Muslim 
lady. Could it be a sign?
  As a youngster, I went through the motions of what it means to be Catholic. I 
was baptized, did my communion and confirmation. I was even an altar boy at one 
point. But by the times I was a teen; I was growing impatient with Catholicism 
and started exploring different forms of spiritualities. Specifically, I was 
annoyed at the cult of saints but also that there is so much written in the 
Bible that is not followed by that church. By 16, I can confidently say that I 
renounced Catholicism, although I still considered myself Christian. I 
visited different churches of differing denominations but just could not feel 
that sense of belonging. Also, one of the things that I did not like was the 
interdenominational bickering. Another thing was the complexity of 
Christianity, or so it seemed to me. I considered myself “Christian” but I had 
renounced its some of its pagan roots – specifically its practices of Christmas 
and Easter.
  During my search, I found an interest in other religions. Specifically, I 
looked into Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Santeria, and various New Age or 
Occult movements. I liked Judaism but could not deal with life without Jesus. 
Buddhism seemed too esoteric and even too bland. Hinduism's caste system and 
vast number of gods/goddesses just repelled me. Both of these religions, 
however, influenced me to become a vegetarian for many years. Santeria was 
interesting in a historical sense but its gods also repelled me and its secrecy 
was annoying. The many New Age movements just seemed too complex. Mostly, 
however, these beliefs did not get a hold of my full interest. 
  By the time I was 19, I renounced Christianity once and for all and continued 
my search. This search led me to read on a non-stop basis, something that I 
still do. At 20, a friend of mine gave me a book on Islam or what I thought was 
Islam. He gave me a book that the Ansar cult published. To sum up their ideas, 
I would say that they mix authentic Islam with black-nationalism. After reading 
up on them, I decided to become Muslim at 23. As a matter of fact I do 
consider that I was Muslim then but that I was astray. I believed 
wholeheartedly in the absolute unity of God (tawhid) but had some other ideas 
that were not on a par with authentic Islam. Because of my intense reading 
background, I always noted the many mistakes in the Ansar doctrine but I guess 
I just put up with it because there was something there that I related to. I 
always noted too that the leader of this movement always changed his beliefs 
and doctrines every so often, which I found to be strange. 
  My parents did not like the idea that I became Muslim. I don’t think they had 
the idea I was interested in it. My father thought that having gone to college 
influenced me in some way. My mother did not mind so much but was afraid I 
would become the victim of a crime or discrimination. Alhamdullilah, they 
gradually have come to accept my choice. Unfortunately, their acceptance is 
merely an acceptance of convenience – as they still cling to their old ways, 
some of which is haraam.
  After about two years going to the Ansar mosque, I started going to 
mainstream mosques as well and noted the

  Dr. Yusuf Ziya Kavakci was born on June 22, 1938 in Hendek, Sakarya, Turkey. 
At an early age (8-9 years) he accomplished memorizing whole Qur'an (Hifz 
al-Qur'an), graduated from Hasircilar Qur'anic School (Adapazari) with a 
training in Tajwid, Qira'ah, Arabic (Sarf and Nahw), Tafsir, Hadih, Fiqh, and 
allied Islamic Sciences. He passed national Exams for Waiz (Preacher and 
lecturer in Islamic Sciences) and Mufti (ordained and authorized to give Fatwa 
and religious verdict in Islamic field) and qualified for those jobs. He worked 
as Muadhdhin (Professional caller to prayer, Hirka-i Sharif Mosque), Imam (Kara 
Ahmed Pasha Mosque in Topkapi), and Waiz in the governorships Fatih and Beyoglu 
in Istanbul. 
   
  Dr. Kavakci received a bachelor's degrees in Law from The College of Law of 
Istanbul University and also in Islamic Studies from the Institute of Higher 
Islamic Studies, got his Ph.D. in Islamic History and Culture from Faculty of 
Arts, Istanbul University. After working as Assistant Professor and as 
Associate Professor in the Institute of Islamic Research, Istanbul University, 
he helped to establish the first college of Islamic Studies in modern Turkey. 
The College of Islamic Studies is now a part of Ataturk University, Erzurum 
where Dr. Kavakci worked as senior faculty. He chaired Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh and 
other departments and got full professorship in Islamic Law and worked as Dean 
of the College. His professorship in Islamic Law was the first such position in 
Turkey after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. He was educated in the traditional 
Ottoman way of Islamic Studies as well as in modern methods of teaching in 
today's universities. 
   
  He is a board certified attorney in Turkey and practiced Law in Libya, Iraq, 
Saudi Arabia and attended numerous International Conferences on Islam. He was 
involved in the activities of the Islamic Conference and was in charge of the

This Islamic calendar was established by the second Caliph Omar in 639 AD to begin with the new moon of the first Arabic month (Muharram) of the year in which the migration of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) from Mecca to Madinah took place. That first day was 16 June 622 of the Julian calendar.Nearly fourteen centuries ago, the Quran was revealed to the Arabs in the deserts of the Arabian Peninsula, who were used to the lunar system. It was correct to address them in the only language they could understand and not to upset their habits. It is known how well versed men living in the desert are in the
 observation of the sky; they navigated according to the stars, and told time according to the motion of the sun and themoon. This was the simplest and the most reliable system available for them.Most people are unaware of the perfect correlation between the Julian and the lunar calendar: 235 lunar months corresponds exactly to 19 Julian years of 365 1/4 days, (228 months). The length of our year of 365 days is not perfect because it has to be rectified every four years (with a leap year). With the lunar calendar, the same phenomena occur every 19 Julian years. The Quran refers to this relationship between the lunar and the Julian systems as follows:  Surah 18, Ayah 25 "So they stayed in their cave three hundred years, and nine (more)"  The literal translation of the above Ayah replaces "and nine" by "increased by nine." This suggests that one has to be careful about each word or
 letter in the Quran. The latest calculation of the lunar month is 29.53059 days. Therefore, the lunar year is 12 x 29.53059 = 354.36708 days. This means that 300 Julian year (300x365.25= 109575 days) is equivalent to 309 lunar years (354.36708x309= 109499.43). This is a miraculous accuracy. Therefore the above Ayah can be explained as "So they stayed in their cave three hundred solar years, and increased by nine lunar years".   This is just an amazing revelation from the Creator of time. Only Allah knows the exact time of any event in any reference of time.  Surah 18, Ayah 26 "Say: Allah knows best how long they stayed"

They advocate that Allah is not a real God but an idol! Have you ever seen a statue of Allah or Muhammad? As a matter of fact, Muhammad destroyed 360 idols in Mecca. The fundamentalist Christians do not realize that Allah is the God of Christians too! Arab-speaking Christians recognize Allah as the only name of God just as Muslims do. The English Old Testament Starts: “In the beginning, God created the heaven and earth.”  The Arabic Old Testament Starts: (translated into English)“In the beginning, Allah created the heaven and earth.” 
   Moreover, if you happen to be traveling in USA and staying the night in any room in any hotel, you might find a Gideon's Bible which is translating John3:16 into 26 of the top languages. Two of these languages are Arabic and Malay. What word is used for God in their passages of John 3:16? It is Allah!Critics of Islam usually present translated Verses of the Quran that are taken out of context, or they pick up a translation that advances their biased point of view. Yet, the Office for Non-Christian Affairs at the Vatican published a document under the title “Orientations for a Dialogue between Christians and Muslims” that it shows the position that the Vatican has adopted towards Islam. In the third edition of this study (1970), this new position calls for “a revision of our attitude towards it (Islam) and a critical examination of our prejudices:” ... “We should first set about progressively changing the way
 our Christian brothers see it.   This is the most important of all” ... “We must clear the way the out-dated image inherited from the past, or distorted by prejudice and slander” ... “and recognize the past injustice towards the Muslims for which the west, with its Christian education, is to blame.” The same document stresses that Allah is the True God and not an idol:“It would seem pointless to maintain that Allah is not real God, as do certain people in the west!”   An excellent way of illustrating Islamic faith in God can be found in the “Lumen Gentium,” produced by the second Vatican Council (1962-1965):“The Muslims profess the faith of Abraham and worship with us the sole merciful God, who is the future judge of men on the Day of Reckoning.However, some of the TV Evangelists insist that Allah is not the same God of the Christians. They refuse to recognize that the Vatican and all the Christian
 Arabs accept Allah as the Only God because Muslims do not believe in the Trinity. Their argument ignores millions of Christians who do not believe that Jesus is the son of god or in the Trinity and seeks to be divisive in an age where mutual understanding and respect for religions is much needed.

  Christian Missionaries ResourcesChristian Missionaries have overwhelming resources at their disposal for the purpose of converting all non-Christians on earth:1.TrainingTraining a professional missionary is an extensive process. First, there are many schools that teach students “effective” ways to propagate Christianity. These schools teach such courses as: Biblical foundation, Bible and Biblical exegesis, theological orientation, the practice of ministry, Christian leadership, church history, counseling, world mission and evangelism, technology in ministry, preaching and communication, history of Christian mission , world religions, churches in different parts of the world, and psychology.Second, there are tremendous resources in
 the Internet that help practicing missionary in the field such as: gateway sites, research sites, unreached people, immigrant groups, the persecuted church and human rights, world and religious news, missions news, events and prayer resources, short-term opportunities (human catastrophe), maps, missions innovation, evangelism and apologetics resources, resources for cults, and discussion about missions, directories by languages, encyclopedias, dictionaries, worship music, networking agencies, missionary training for medical, dental and veterinary professionals, and even how to get low missionary airfares. Their schools also teach the missionary how to be effective charismatic speaker.2 ConferencesConferences on World Mission and Evangelism are being held in different parts of the world, and are arranged by organization such as the International Missionary Council (IMC) and the World Council of Churches (WCC), Salvation
 Army, International Mission Board, Africa International Christian Mission, and the Orthodox Christian mission center. The conferences remind ministers that the mission is for Jesus Christ, who is present and active as the Holy Spirit in church and the world. The participants come from evangelical, Pentecostal and Roman Catholic backgrounds, where dialogue focuses on the growing mission involvement. Conferences look at the direction of mission today and how to expand it allover the globe. Some of these conferences target certain country and certain religion and present strategy of converting people to Christianity. They exchange ideas, tactics, and strategy about the fastest ways to convert people of specific religion in specific countries under specific circumstances.3 BudgetOn January 29, 2001, President George W. Bush announced through an executive order after having failed to do so legislatively the White House
 Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives (http://www.faithbasedcommunityinitiatives.org/) at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). This initiative allows the US government to more easily fund faith-based organizations for their work in developing countries, including relief and humanitarian efforts. Today 25% of USAID partners are faith based organizations and 385 million dollars has been set aside in the 2005 US budget for faith-based and community initiatives. The National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy's (NCRP) reports that all the organizations funded under the Faith-Based initiative had as part of their mission three elements: "personal salvation, biblical infallibility and a commitment to religious conversion.”   Because Christian mission is a big business, it estimated that they have an annual budget of some $8.6 Billion from donations, pledges
 to churches, and USAID. This huge budget allows missionaries to work in almost every country on earth to convert Muslims, Jews, Japanese, Chinese, Hindus, Africans, Iraqis, Afghanis, etc. From one church, trustees of the Southern Baptist International Mission Board adopted a $290.1 million budget for 2003 during an Oct. 31-Nov. 3 meeting in Dallas that included the appointment of 95 new missionaries -- the second-largest group of long-term workers ever appointed in a single service. In mission’s fund raising, some missionaries prey on the average Christian to support missions to save the souls of lost people, as well as support their luxury homes, cars, and swimming pools.   One has to admit that they have limited success in parts of Africa and areas of human catastrophes, and with generally unreligious individuals. As expected, most of the world is fighting back this massive weapon of missionary deception. Muslims, Jews, Hindus, and others are
 exposing Christian Evangelists for their misleading methods. Therefore, when one divides their annual budget by the number of converted people, one can find out that converting one single person to Christianity is a very expensive task, and probably that converted person will not have an effect in any religion.   First, the twelve disciples were instructed by Jesus to share their faith with the Jews: Matthew 10:5-6 "Go nowhere among the Gentiles, and enter no town of the Samaritans, but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”And Jesus stated clearly that he was sent only to the Jews:Matthew 15:24 "He (Jesus) answered: I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."The missionaries did not succeed in converting all the Jews. So, against the above statements by Jesus, the writers of the Gospels decided that Christianity was a missionary religion to the end of the earth:Matthew 28:19-20. This verse is called the “Great Commission” “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
 Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."Trinities were all over the Middle East and its surrounding. Eusebius of Caesarea (283-371 CE) wrote: "The religion of Jesus Christ is neither new nor strange." This made the job of the early Christian missionaries relatively easy. They were converting people from one form of trinity to another. The present day missionaries do not have the same luxury as their forerunners; their job is quite difficult, and consequently deception is their most effective way to get results.Following their old tradition, Christian missionaries are pouring into Muslim and non-Muslim countries
 “proclaiming the good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ,” Acts 8:12. They are distributing Bibles, cassettes, videos and religious leaflets designed to "save" non-Christians from their "false" religion.  Christian Missionaries on one hand preach high moral teachings of Jesus, yet at the same time, they follow deceptive strategy in order to convert people to their religion. Missionaries especially fool the poor, sick, illiterate, people in rural areas, and unreligious people under the guise of helping them in this life and saving them in the hereafter. They push to convert these people because they are the most vulnerable and therefore most likely to fall for their deception. They also prey on people subjected to human catastrophe whether it is famine, war, Tsunami, or earthquake. These deceptive methods are used simply because the honest upfront approach did not prove as effective as the Christian missionaries thought they were 
 In 2004, Mother Jones magazine reported a scene at Columbia International University in South Carolina that demonstrates an unnerving ethical elasticity. "Did Jesus ever lie?" asks a lecturer. His class replies, "No." "But did Jesus raise his hand and say, 'I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?'" Again, 20 voices call out, "No!" (The instructor confirms the quote but says that it was taken out of context.)  One of the basic arguments raised by Christian Missionaries is the framework of Jesus-Father-Crucifixion-Salvation. This is how it goes: “The Father crucified his son Jesus for my salvation. So I am saved by believing in Jesus, and you too can be saved. So believe like I believe.” However, in Islam, one can earn salvation by believing first in One God and his Prophets including Jesus and by good deeds. But Christian missionaries are highly trained individuals. They do not explain Christianity, because they can’t. They
 practice the shortest way to score a hit. No mention about the confusing Trinity. No mention about ancient mythical gods that had similar life stories like that of Jesus. No mention about the untold history of the early Christianity, and the early Christian sects. No mention about the 50 or so different versions of the Bible. No mention about the deleted verses of the Bible. No mention that crucial verses were added sixteen centuries after Jesus. No mention about the serious contradictions in the Bible. No mention about the Ecumenical Councils of Church and their political decisions. No mention about the Church that they belong to, and certainly no mention about other Churches. Some missionaries call this “heavenly deception”. Invitation of non Muslims to the true Guidance of God is an obligatory duty for all Muslims. Without this invitation, people fall into ignorance and misguidance. Allah states in the Quran:  Quran 16:125 ”Invite (all) to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and reason with them in ways that are best and most gracious: surely your Lord best knows those who go astray from His path, and He knows best those who follow the right way."   Quran 41:33-35 "Who is better in speech than one who calls (people) to Allah, works righteousness, and says, "I am of those who bow in Islam"? The good deed and the evil deed are not alike. Repel the evil deed with one which is better: Then will he between whom and thee was hatred become as it were your friend and intimate! And no one will be granted such goodness except those who
 exercise patience and self-restraint,- none but persons of the greatest good fortune."  The Muslim who practices this invitation must always remember that he is not entrusted with converting people to Islam, for ultimate guidance is from Allah, and free will is the bases of the Divine worldly test. Allah states:  Quran 24:54 "The Messenger's duty is only to convey (the message) in a clear way."  Based upon the above verse, even the prophet of Islam is not in charge of converting people. So, if someone asks me about Islam, I would say:  “Islam is simple. We believe in One God, the same God of all the prophets in the Bible, Prophets Jesus and Muhammad. Our Holy book is the Quran, which is truly the authentic Words of God. It is in Arabic. It is the same Arabic text for 14 centuries. Moreover, millions of Muslims memorize the whole Quran by heart from generation to generation. We are like John Adams, Thomas Jefferson
 and 3 other US presidents, Lev Tolstoy, Sir Isaac Newton, and millions of Christians who do not believe in the trinity. But we believe that Jesus is one of the greatest of the five Prophets, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad, Peace be upon them.” And that is it. Straight talk, no lies, no deception, and no hard sell.On the other hand, Christian mission development is not like any other religion. It is another big business. {Invite (mankind, O Muhammad ) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'an) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: By Allah, if Allah guides one person by you, it is better for you than the best types of camels. [al-Bukhaaree, Muslim] 

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also said, Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all.
