Re: [JAWS-Users] Deleting Amazon Tracking Cookies From IE 11

2015-11-16 Thread Blackwell, Clifford
I don't know about deleting the tracking cookies, but if you go into "Your
Account" and into the section on Prim, there is a link towards the end of the
section that will reinstitute the "full site".

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Deleting Amazon Tracking Cookies From IE 11

Every time I try to access the regular Amazon.com site using IE 11 with JAWS 16
and Windows 7, I am taken directly to the mobile Amazon.com site instead. I
have tried deleting all browsing history on the IE 11 Tools menu, but the
Amazon tracking cookies are apparently not being deleted because when I close
IE 11 and relaunch it and then visit Amazon.com again, I am still being taken
to the mobile site instead of the regular site. What must I do to specifically
delete the Amazon tracking cookies that are preventing me from accessing the
regular site? Thanks.

I am afraid that this one is going to take the help of a computer technician
who can use a software to break the password and reset it for you. There are
some software out there that are free, but I have never found one that would
actually do the job.

the computer geek can most likely clear the password, especially if
he/she is tech savvy, but ` they don't mess up the normal functioning of
windows. before Vista came out, I had a problem with logging into XP,
and the local shop geek cleared the password but woundup messing up
windows for me.

Neil,
Since you have a person with vision handy,
Perform a restore to go back exactly 6 days.
Then, you can reinstall a new password.
And Windows 10 should still be good.
I ran into this number below:
MS tech reset password: 800-306-1557

If, it works, let me know...

it comes in windows updates
one way you can know your updating to the major windows 10 is that when you
check for updates jaws will announce checking for updates then jaws will
announce info for the latest windows updates or something
the windows 10 update is an upgrade to the next build of windows 10 so the
update will take some time just like if you upgraded using the media
creation tool. affter the upgrade/update is complete you will have a
windows.old gfolder again. this is the previous build of windows 10

as I said it fixed the crashes jaws was having go figure!

the first major windows 10 update fixed the crashing that was happening
with jaws don’t ask how, but I am not experiencing jaws crashes anymore.
this is good because I won’t need to use a SMA to upgrade jaws, 16 latest is
good enough!

Re: [JAWS-Users] november windows 10 update

2015-11-16 Thread Kimsan
Will it reboot several times and will jaws come up once it's done?
I see the update of which you spoke of and I am updating it right now.
Hopefully, your response will come through before I'm screwed lol.
