Good morning Mailop friends.  We opened a ticket with Yahoo at the Sender Hub 
yesterday morning but haven’t received any reply yet. We lowered our 
connections down and also had our client switch to active 30-day clickers only 
across the board.  It looks like once per hour the Yahoo mail servers are 
letting a little bit of mail through, and that mail from what we can see is 
going to our seed inboxes.  However, it ‘still queued up a lot of our client’s 
mail.  If anyone from Yahoo sees this and can reach out that would be very much 
appreciated.

[mailop] Anyone From Microsoft That Can Give Some Guidance?

Hi fellow Mailopers, I hope you are all doing well.  We have a client of ours 
that works with the 107 Historically Black Colleges on a yearly project that 
awards grants for campus improvement projects.  The email list is small, around 
700 subscribers in total.  For the most part the emails are making it through 
however many of the schools rely on Office 365 for their email and some of the 
schools are having issues getting their mail to the inbox.  It’s a dedicated IP 
address and domain, and its setup for SPF/DKIM/DMARC etc. and they only send to 
this 100% opt-in list.  If there’s anyone on the list that may be able to help 
me out to?  It’s a great opportunity for these schools and some have missed out 
because they didn’t receive the communications and deadline information.  I’m 
happy to give more information on the client if someone could direct message me.

[mailop] Yahoo! Timeouts Throughout The Day

Hi fellow Mailopers, I hope you are all having a nice day.  I was checking in 
to see if others were seeing timeouts connecting to Yahoo/AOL throughout the 
day today.  I noticed it starting earlier this morning around 9:30am Eastern 
and has been intermittent throughout the day.  I checked MXToolbox and it was 
taking longer than normal (around 5000ms) for it to resolve the DNS to the mail 
servers.  I’m not seeing bounces, just slower than normal delivery and 
dissipation of queues.  The connection seems active just slows down 
periodically when sending.

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well and staying healthy and safe.  We’ve been 
working with The Home Depot on their Retool Your School Program 
(https://retoolyourschool.com/) for more than ten years now.  Over the past 
year and especially the last few months, we are having a hard time getting 
their emails to the intended recipients with a lot of their messages going to 
junk.  All the messages are going to HBCU’s (Historically Black College and 
Universities) and a lot of them are using Microsoft Office 365.  We’ve begun to 
ask the colleges to mark their IP, domain, and email address as safe senders 
but it’s hard to reach everyone personally.  The messages are not bouncing 
back, just ending up in Junk for a large majority of subscribers.  This is a 
100% opt-in program, and the list size is under 700 subscribers.  They send out 
once to twice a week from December through May.  All the colleges are competing 
for more than $500,000 in campus improvement prizes and many schools can’t 
participate because they aren’t receiving the emails. They have a dedicated IP 
address and custom DNS.  It’s setup with SPF, DK, DKIM, DMARC, SNDS, JMRP, and 
a “List Unsubscribe” in the header.  I’ve filled out the forms for Office 365 
support and the IP isn’t blocked.  I also filled out the Microsoft support form 
and the IP is also not blocked there or any indication through SNDS that there 
are any issues.  If anyone on list may be able to help, the program would be 
greatly appreciative.

[mailop] Yahoo and AOL slow delivery

Hi Mailop group, I hope everyone is well.  I was wondering if others are seeing 
much higher mail queues to @yahoo and @aol then normal that started late 
yesterday but got progressively worse this morning?  I wasn’t seeing any TSS 
errors or backoffs, just very, very slow delivery.  After a while I saw a few 
timeout errors but not a lot of them.  I know that sometimes VMG makes changes 
that can cause this but I haven’t seen it this slow in quite some time.  I was 
wondering if maybe it could be weather related with ice and snow across the US? 
 Any others seeing similar issues over the last 12-18 hours or so?  Any insight 
would be super helpful.

[mailop] Verizon Media Recurring Issue

We have a client who we have worked with very closely to develop a solid 
engaged sender plan that has been working very well since they started sending 
through us a few years back.  Recently they have been having a recurring issue 
with just one of the Verizon Media domains that pops up every other week or so 
since March.  The postmaster team has been very helpful to get the issue 
resolved each time through the ticketing system but it’s not clear why it keeps 
happening and our client has a few days each time with no deliverability.  If 
anyone from Verizon Media is monitoring the list here, can they please contact 
me?

[mailop] Yahoo/AOL slower than normal delivery

Good morning email friends, I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.  
We’ve noticed over the last 36 hours or so slower than normal delivery to Yahoo 
and AOL.  There are no deferment errors (or any notable errors) and no unusual 
bounces, or complaints just much slower dissipation of the Yahoo and AOL queues 
where they normally flow pretty smoothly (especially @aol mail).  Just 
wondering if others are seeing something similar.  Not sure if the sheer volume 
of email from everyone being stuck at home is contributing to it either just 
wondering what others are seeing.  I know that Verizon made their announcement 
about VTO a few days back so not sure if that has anything to do with it.

When I checked our domains/subdomains today, I noticed that beginning today
*all* of our IP reputations were bad. Previously they had been a mix of
high or medium. This is across dozens of sites/IP's. The domain reputations
remain at high or medium. We haven't seen a drop in 1 day opens, or any
other apparent problems.  So, I'm thinking this may just be a reporting
problem within the tool.

Anyone seeing something similar?

[mailop] List-Unsubscribe Question

Happy Friday everyone and a Happy Passover/Easter/Good Friday to all those that 
apply :)  We’ve been using List-Unsubscribe with both the “mailto” and the 
“unsubscribe url” for quite some time.  We have a back-end process that sends 
all unsub requests to a mailbox in which we parse and opt subscribers out 
appropriately according to each of our customers.  We’re noticing that a 
handful of unsub requests that come in don’t match up to the email addresses 
that the messages were necessarily sent to.  My guess is that the devices that 
are being used to send the unsub mail are using the the default email address 
of their mail client which may not be the address that the email was sent to.  
The behavior doesn’t seem to be ISP or domain specific as I’ve seen Yahoo, 
Gmail, AOL, etc.. Does anyone have experience with this, that may be able to 
make a suggestion as to how this works and if there is anything that can be 
done?

[mailop] Google Postmaster Tools Not Updated Since 3/23

Good afternoon fellow MailOpers, I hope everyone is having a great start to the 
week!  We’ve noticed that the Google Postmaster Tools hasn’t updated stats 
since 3/23.  Anyone else seeing this?  In the past I’ve posted to their forums 
when this has happened but usually don’t get much of a response there.  I’m 
happy to start a thread there if others are seeing the same thing and point 
everyone there.

We're also seeing the same thing., no new data since February 14th.  I started 
a thread in their forums where you can go and fill in your details.  In the 
past we have gotten responses from them here.

I just wanted to give an update on this.  It seems that after waiting 7 days 
and sending 6 email replies (to my initial message), I finally was able to get 
a positive response back from ATT removing our customers IP's from their 
blocklist within 24/48 hours.  A few things to note if anyone else has ATT 
issues.  (1) The old http://rbl.att.net/cgi-bin/rbl/block_admin.cgi page was 
taken offline. (2) In order to open up a case, you must send an email to 
abuse_...@abuse-att.net  which will start the process and send you a no-reply 
automated email with your case info. (3) It seems as though they are fielding a 
lot of requests, due to the fact I got 6 responses (all the same wording) at 
the same time so it still has some level of automation.  I hope this info helps 
someone else.
