Question about bass and treble adjustments on high definition audio device
Hy. I'm running windows 7 64 bit on the hp probook 4535s with high definition audio device instaled as the primary sound card. With the sound card there came beats audio, a piece of software that controls the sound card. However, the software it self is amost not accessible at all, and when the sound is being produced thru it, it sounds to bassy, and almost like joint stereo. I was looking for a solution on the net, and i saw that the other users reported the same issues with the beats audio, and the suggestions were to use native microsoft high definition audio device driver instead. When i installed it, now everything sounds much better, but right now i can only control the amount of boost bass, i can no longer adjust treble settings to sound more present on my liking. Any possible solutions? Thanks. -- Mario Percinic Accessibility consultant mario.perci...@gmail.com skype: acousticman gsm: +385922630259

Yes it does, but i see that still you didn't get it what i want. I would like to be able to read the status of the volume, not hear it, but read it with the screen reader. So for example, when i play the file or select part of the file, i'd like to see on what volume is it set, like it play on the 20 db, or 40 db. Re: Another type of unequal sound
Hello. From the things you explained, it sounds to me that the cd isn't properly mixed, and there for, that is the reason why you can't hear all parts of the song how it is suppose to sound. To clarify that, try listening the same cd on differend sound systems and see if you get the same results. If the end results are the same than you can do a few of the things. First, if this is part of the songs which is just vocal parts singing, than you can make part of that song louder than the rest of it. But, if the vocal part is mixed in the same time with some other instruments, than probably you cant do much about it, since you will mess up all the song and you could end up having very distorted parts which you really don't want. - Original Message - From: Victoria Vaughan vrvaug...@mailzone.com To: PC audio discussion list. pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Saturday, November 07, 2009 5:10 AM Subject: Another type of unequal sound On my CD of Pied Piper, by Chrispian St. Peters, the verses are much quieter than the chorus, which booms out. The biggest thing that MP3TAG does that Studio does not is that you can use it to look up all the information about an album via amazon.com and have that information automatically added/imported to the tags in your files. MP3 Tag Studio's strongest features lie in its list processing capabilities--it can make lists, make Excel CSV files, process lists to tag selected files, etc. Both absolutely required tools in any serious MP3 collector's arsenal. A few questions about sound editing
Hello everyone. After a few years of absence from the list I'm again back so regards to all members at the beginning. Now, let's go to the questions 1. I have creative audigy 2 zs sound card, and goldwave 5.22 on windows xp pro machine with 2 gigs of ram and processor on 3 gigs. The problem frequently appears with goldwave when I edit some files, that file after a few minutes of editing goes into loop mode which plays constantly and it completely blocks my pc so the only way to stop it is to restart the pc via switch on it. I can't access anything , not even the task manager because all the functions of the operating system are blocked. Does anyone have similar problems and how did you solve it? I tried to update to the latest drivers of my sound card but it didn't solve the problem, and I think that its goldwave related. 2. What do you recommend the best as a multitracking and accessible software on windows? I tried to see how sonar works with free jsonar scripts but so far I wasn't successful in making it work. Is there anywhere a podcast which talks in details about how to make sonar with jsonar up and running, or is there somewhere another tutorial about multitracking software? So far I mostly need to work with audio tracks on which I can add different effects and stuff, and if I will need some midi tracks I can prepare them with qws and than later import them as a audio track. 3. I herd that some blind people use ntrack as a multitracking software and as sonar alternative. How does it work with screen readers, and if it works is it simpler than sonar? Thanks for all the answers. Mario To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
