Re: CSCayenne Tincture Methods

2006-09-03 Thread Raine

And how!
Silly me, after brewing my cayenne tincture for a full month, I
squeezed the coffee filter I was straining the tincture through with my
BARE HANDS! (I have no idea what I was thinking...)
It took me a minute to figure out why my hands were on fire! And then it
took 4 hours of ice, milk, cold water, and whatever else would work
until the pain subsided. I will NEVER make that mistake again!

I was surprised to see someone (Bob?) suggest using DMSO and Cayenne
tincture in conjunction. I find DMSO makes me itch somethin' fierce from
the histamine release, and cayenne burns my skin, so to combine the two
without some major dilution is slighty scary to me. BUT I am intrigued.
I'd like to hear more of what one experiences with this combo.

I have a question about my cat (will also post it to the SilverPets
list, but lately some posts have taken days to go through and I don't
want to wait). He was just laying in my lap having purr-fest and I
realized that his normally pink nose is very pale in color, almost
white. His gums are also quite pale. I believe this is indicative of
anemia?
He's young (15 months) and is behaving normally. He eats Innova Evo for
cats. I also add CS to his water because he occasionally gets mouth
sores. He doesn't have fleas, or worms (to my knowledge). He hasn't had
any vaccinations since I got him last Jan.
Does anyone know of any other reason for his pale nose/gums? What should
I look for, and/or do?

skin brushing,

Re: CSRe: foot pads

2005-09-20 Thread Raine

I just read this article tonight and I thought of this thread...

*Balance Your pH
**by Dr. Hulda Clark*

The ends of your feet get the poorest service from your blood supply.
They are the furthest away. The blood here has the most accumulated acid
and the least oxygen supplyThe accumulation of uric and hippuric
acid invites bacteria to feed on them. As bacteria multiply the tissue
fights back with inflammation. Now the stage has been set for pain.

Most persons with painful deposits anywhere in their feet have a morning
urine pH of 4.5! At 4.5 it is safe to guess that a lot (of uric acid )
has precipitated (in the feet) again in the night. During the day, your
body's pH swings back and forth. The urine gets quite alkaline right
after a meal; this is called the alkaline tide. Three meals a day would
bring you three alkaline tides. During these periods, lasting about an
hour, you have an opportunity to dissolve some of your foot deposits.
But if you allow your pH to drop too low in the night you put the
deposits back again. The net effect decides whether your deposits grow
or shrink. To alkalinize yourself at bedtime, choose one of these options:

1.Two oyster shell tablets, equaling 750 mg. of calcium plus a magnesium
oxide tablet, 300 mg (see Sources). The magnesium helps the calcium
dissolve and stay in solution. Taking more calcium at one time is not
advised because it cannot be dissolved and absorbed anyway and might
constipate you. For the elderly only one calcium tablet is advised. Take
calcium tablets with vitamin C or lemon water to help dissolve (1/4 tsp.
vitamin C powder; adding honey is fine).

2.One cup of sterilized milk or buttermilk, drunk hot or cold, plus I
magnesium oxide tablet, 300 mg. (adding cinnamon is fine). If these two
remedies work for you, your morning urinary pH will come up to 6.0 but
if for some reason they don't, you need to take more drastic measures.
Take the supplements and milk earlier in the day and reserve bedtime for:

3.1/2 tsp. baking soda in water. This is sodium bicarbonate. But don't
use baking soda from a store because most brands I have tested are
polluted with benzene! Using a combination of sodium and potassium
bicarbonate in a ratio of 2:1 is actually a much more healthful potion.
You can make your own or ask a pharmacist to make it for you. Mix two
parts baking soda and one part potassium bicarbonate in a jar. Keep
tightly closed. Label it sodium Potassium bicarbonate alkalizer (this
potion is also very useful in allergic reactions of all kinds). Take I
level tsp. in water at bedtime. If your pH reaches 6 in the morning
continue each night at this dose. If it does not, take 1 1/2 tsp. Keep
watching your pH, since it will gradually normalize and you will require
less and less. If you are using plain baking soda, instead of the
mixture, watch your pH each morning, also, so you can cut back when the
pH goes higher than 6.

Persons with a limit on their daily sodium intake must care-fully count
the grams of baking soda consumed in this way. Each tsp. weighs about 2
grams, of which half (I gram or I 000 milligrams) is sodium. The
sodium/potassium mixture would only give you half as much sodium
(1/2gram per tsp.). By comparison, the usual daily intake of sodium is
about 5 gm., although salt eaters consume twice that amount. You have
done five things to pull the rug out from under the bacteria living in
and around the deposits in your toes. Now when you kill bacteria with
your zapper, you can expect the pain to go away and stay away.

Locations at the base of toes may be painful due to a neuroma. Deposits
and bacteria here are even more painful because this is the location of
nerve centers. If the build-up is large, you may prefer some surgical
help or a cortisone shot rather than wait several years for solid relief.

No. I am ready to try just about anything to get old uric acid stones
out of my feet. I can stop new stones from forming but can't get rid
of old stones that have dropped into my feet. I am on my 5th day using
foot pads and last night I started to get a foot itch but it did not
turn on full itch. I was able to go back to sleep even with the itch.
I know a person that just had a toe surgically removed as blood
circulation had nearly stopped. Her DR said the toe was full of kidney

See Nenahs web site for sources. I suspect the Japanese use the foot

CSUPDATE (was: Suggestions? Abdominal Pain on Right Side)

2005-09-01 Thread Raine
Ok, I have a story to share. I suffered with this pain and abdominal
distention for a full 30 hours. The pain waxed and waned, mainly
depending on position, but the bloating was pretty steady. I was poking
around on the CureZone site and stumbled across the Energized Water
forum- based on http://www.energizedwater.info/ After reading the
website I figured I'd try it as a lark. I honestly did not expect much
from a battery, a few wires and some water. However, it was free and
would literally take mere seconds of my time. So, I quickly whipped up a
batch of energized water, and tested it with a styrofoam packing peanut.
All seemed well so I not only drank the water, but I used it externally
on my stomach as well.
Honestly, within minutes my abdominal swelling went down and the pain
subsided. I was totally shocked!
My husband believes it to be psychosomatic, but since I really didn't
expect anything I don't believe that's the case.

After a day of not eating, and drinking some pretty funky concoctions
(though I did enjoy the break in my busy schedule to lounge on the bed
and do nothing) I could not believe that something so simplistic could
rectify whatever my problem was.

Take that for what it's worth,

Raine

CSSuggestions? Abdominal Pain on Right Side

2005-08-30 Thread Raine
Beginning last night and through this morning I have had acute abdominal
pain located on the upper right side accompanied with some major
bloating. Last night was very painful in general, I experienced some
nausea, and I was so bloated I could've passed for a 6-7 month pregnant
woman! Today it only hurts if I move or tense my muscles (pain radiates
down into my hip) with much less bloating. I've never had anything like
this before. In doing some reading I'm lead to suspect several things;

a) pancreatitis (my mom has this and it can be hereditary)
b) gall bladder stones (my dad had his gallbladder removed a few years ago)
c) a twisted uterine cyst (I've had cysts for many many years)
d) misalignment of my spine (my back has been out for weeks)

Anyone have an experience with something like this? Have any helpful
websites where I can do some more reading? I'm looking for anything that
will help at all.

Thanks,
Raine

This is very useful information about the iodine and DMSO - I have liquid
DMSO myself, so it shouldn't be a problem mixing it, though I might add CS
to dilute a bit. Now all I need is a sebaceous cyst somewhere.

Some thirty years ago my husband and son came home with ringworm, which I
suspect came from the swimming baths they were attending. I forget what we
did for the boy, possibly painted it with iodine, but certainly with my
husband, I painted it with iodine, neat. It seemed a shame to throw out the
iodine-soaked cotton wool, so I taped it to the ringworm. The skin came
away - neat little circle, as I recall. The Dr. reckoned that was the end
of the ringworm, all right.

This might be useful for skin tags, might it not? That's caused by a virus,
isn't it? Perhaps a drop of iodine, a drop of DMSO, a drop of coconut oil,
and a drop of CS (or larger amounts) and paint on. The DMSO would carry the
viricidal elements in and likely have an effect of its own on the problem.

Below is the response I got from my Senator. Not very heartening.

Dear Mrs. :

Thank you for writing to express your concerns regarding the
Codex Alimentarius legislation proposed under the World Trade
Organization (WTO). I appreciate the time you took to write.

I understand your serious concern regarding this issue. As you
know, the WTO is an international body which addresses the rules of
trade between countries. At its heart are the WTO agreements,
negotiated and signed by the bulk of the world's trading nations, which
provide the legal ground-rules for international commerce. They are
essentially contracts, binding governments to keep their trade policies
within agreed limits.

The availability of dietary supplements to the public is
important, but it is equally important that these supplements do not put
the consumer's health at stake. I believe that if we are to ensure the
safety of those who consume dietary supplements, we must make sure
that these supplements are not hazardous to their health.* *We cannot
allow deaths, such as those caused by the dietary supplement Ephedra, to
continue. Please know that I will continue to monitor the work of the
WTO and be sure to keep your thoughts in mind as I do so.

Again, thank you for writing. I hope that you will continue to

CSCS Teeth Stains

2005-05-12 Thread Raine

Hi all,

I've been swishing the CS twice daily to treat gum disease. After a few
weeks I discovered some brown staining on my teeth! In discussing teeth,
gums and such on another list, I found others who experienced this as
well, and suspected the CS.

I've changed to using a CS/H202/water solution for swishing in hopes of
eliminating the staining, but not doing damage to the enamel from acidity.

My question; has anyone else encountered this, and if so what did they
do to rid themselves of the staining?

Thanks,
Raine

Re: CSVitamin C

2005-05-04 Thread Raine
Here's how to make your own Sodium Ascorbate from Dr. Judd.
http://www.gerardjudd.com/goodteeth.htm

Vitamin C powder at Trader Joes is $9.99/lb. Put 1 level tsp (4 g) in a
glass, add 1/2 tsp Arm and Hammer baking soda, add 1 inch of water, let
fizz, dilute to 8 oz and drink. The compound made here is fresh sodium
ascorbate. This is about 1000 x as soluble as C, and is more reactive
towards antibody and connective tissue construction and viral
destruction. Thus the gums knit back to the teeth, avoiding any kind of
oral surgery for receding gums. Receding gums are nothing but gum
pockets caused by toothpaste and especially fluoride, which severs all
proteins because of its highly negative character. Fluoride is the
smallest negative ion on earth, and consequently is the most intensely
negative particle on earth. As such, fluoride breaks the positive
hydrogen bonds, which hold the coils together, in proteins and enzymes.

If you skip the heating, you'll have an easier time of controlling the

slightly metallic in taste and if you can afford an inexpensive laser

totally clear. and lasts a long time in the cupboard, it never turns grey or
golden. I jsut use two 99.999 siver rods of 12 gauge and have it connected to a
30 volt DC wall wart, and I bubble air through the water while it going. I have
made it as high as 53 ppm measured with a Hanna TDS meter, mostly though it
comes out between 25 and 30 ppm. I make it in a 32 Oz jar also. using Kmart
distilled water that measures 1 PPM when I start.

the bubbling provides stirring so that the concentration aronud the electrodes
remains even with the surronuding water all the time. I imagine tha has a
simialar effect on the process, as a constant current device, by not letting
too much conduction happen in the immediate area of the electrodes. thats my

There is no way at all to predict PPM using time without a starting
point.

A very minor difference in the water makes a major difference in time.
A single water spot on the glass dissolving those minerals in can
modify the water significantly and it's odd that any two batches of
store bought water will be the same or and one batch stay the same
after being stored for a few days. [carbon dioxide has an effect]

Get a good generator.
Or modify yours with the addition of a potentiometer and ammeter , get
a PPM/TDS or uS meter and watch yours like a hawk.

Raine: Financially, I am very limited at this time. I bought this
cheapie unit because we are all, humans and animals, using CS on a daily
basis, but I have no extra funds for a good generator, or any sort of
meter at this time. Basically I need to draw upon others experiences to
make the best I can with what I have.

A means of constant stirring will help even the most primative
generators functionality.

Raine: That was my thought with the thermal stirring. However, it just
seemed to speed the process up more than I'd expected.

*
Since I was one of those who responded to your first post, I guess
I'll reply to this although there are people on this list way more
knowledgeable than I. The batch is certainly safe, especially if the
colloid is clear. If you're uncertain about it, use it for purposes
other than consumption. The only way that you're going to know what
you're producing ppm-wise, with the rudimentary generator that you're
using, is to purchase a Hanna Tester. With that instrument, you can
test the colloid at various points during the brewing process to
determine where you are. Eight ounces is rather a small amount to be
working with -- I prefer sixteen ounces, a Mason jar is perfect -- and
it would be easy to lose control of a batch this size. Colloidal
Silver starts off very slowly and then picks up speed as it brews.
Also, do you know how good the quality is of the distilled water that
you're using?

*

Raine: Sadly, I'm completely ignorant on the qulaity of the distilled
water I'm using. Is there a specific brand, that's tested well, which I
can rely on?

* A Hanna Tester would allow you to check that before brewing. I know
that many people use heat to speed up the brewing process, but I'm
unconvinced that that's a wise thing to do.

*

Raine: My intent wasn't to speed up the process, though that's what
seems to have happened. I was simply interested in stirring.

* Making a quality colloid is a slow process. What's the rush?
Another thought -- how far apart are your silver bars? Wait a minute
-- you're using coins, aren't you? I don't know what the effective
parameters are for that. Is there any reason why you can't use silver
bars? They aren't very expensive and would seem to be a little more
user-friendly as far as placement. *

Raine: I do have silver bars. So there's a possibility that the spacing
is incorrect? Please advise.

*There's nothing wrong with using a battery-operated unit, lots of
people do -- but if you can afford to buy a generator, it sure would
make life easier for you. Synergenesis sells a unit called Colloid
Master that is a hundred dollars or less, let's you set the dial for
the ppm-level that you want, and shuts itself off automatically when
the colloid has reached that ppm-level. They also sell the Hanna
Tester for around fifty bucks. FWIW.MA*

Raine: I'd love nothing more than to have $100+ to spend on a good unit
instead of this cheapie thing I have, but alas that's not the case. So
I've gotta learn how to make this work the best it can for our needs.
Fortunately I have the knowedge of y'all to draw on.

It isn't likely that one hour of brew time will produce 10 ppms in 32
ozs. of DW with 27 volts of current. More likely that you will need
at least 4-5 hours of brew time. In fact, it would likely take that
much time to produce 10 ppms in _16_ ozs. of DW -- and you're using
twice that amount. FWIW MA

CSMy First Batch

2005-04-20 Thread Raine
I've made my first batch using 3-9s. It's a very basic generator, but I
assume it's sufficient for our current needs, and much cheaper than
paying $16/2 oz. at the health food store! I had to clean the fuzzy
beard off once during the 1 hour brew-time (I was brewing 32 oz,
shooting for 10 ppm. Next time I'll do a lesser amount for lesser time).
I don't have any sort of meter or laser as of yet, so I can't test it.
The salt test produced a sufficient cloud and the batch is completely
clear (the health food store stuff is quite yellow).

I intend to set the jar above a tea light next time for thermal stirring.

All in all, I'm quite pleased.

Re: CSCataracts

2005-04-15 Thread Raine

Hiya Brickey,

It's so amazing to me; while searching via search engines for
alternative methods of treating cataracts (specifically in dogs) I got
absolutely nothing. When I began taking my plight to various alternative
lists, I found there are treatments abound! And most are very simplistic.
If only there were enough hours in a day to create a website covering
these methods, with scientific and anecdotal evidence, for the others
that are searching...

My precious girl lost her other eye to glaucoma. I searched, begged and
pleaded for an alternative option, but general consensus was that there
isn't one, and we settled on eneucleation to eliminate the pain, and the
need for drugs. Between her diagnosis of glaucoma, and the removal of
the eye, the cataract in her *good* eye rendered her blind. She was
pronounced a good candidate for cataract surgery (at age 12!), but at
$1000 it simply isn't a possibility.

I so appreciate hearing these testimonies. They give me hope, and good
ideas.

Thanks guys!

My dog was also one eyed, cataract covered her pupil. I bought regular
linseed oil a gallon at Home Base (a hardware store) in their paint
section and filled a 1 ounce bottle with an eye dropper. Every day she
got one drop in her eye for at least two months. Her eyelids became
crusty and I just stopped treating her. I was astonished to see the
cataract shrank to a pin point and after several more weeks totally
was gone. After seeing this I also used linseed oil (Flaxseed oil) in
my eyes. DR said I had a bunch of small cataracts growing in both
eyes. I had a yearly check up about 5 weeks later and DR said NO
CATARACTS. Since then about 5 years ago the cataracts are coming back
in my eyes, I now make my own CS so I use CS + 10% DMSO in my eye wash
cup, cataracts are still there but not growing.

When I treated my dog I did not even refrigerate the linseed oil. I
found that it goes rancid later so when I treated myself I kept the
bottle refrigerated. I guess that our garage was cold enough when I
treated my dog to act like a refrigerator.

One treatment I tried was cayenne in the eye wash cup. A way to tell
how tough you are is if you open your eyes during the wash. I got rid
of my cataracts mainly using flaxseed oil but they are now returning.
CS and DMSO is now my preferred treatment.

Hiya V,

I believe I am on the same list, as I've recently read about the usage
of coconut water (I assume this is the same as coconut milk?) for
cataracts.
Because I know cataracts are caused by oxidation in the eye, and DMSO
has such strong anti-oxidant properties, I am most interested in this.
Of course, anything effective is high on my to research list, so
coconut water will definitely be considered, as will this Miracle 11.
This is the first I've heard of it.

Thanks!

Hi Raine,

The coconut water is the actula water out of young coconuts. Its different

with lots of enzymes and minerals, but only from young coconuts.

CSHelp for Rat with Inner Ear Infection

2005-03-12 Thread Raine
I have a young rat with an inner ear infection (shes walking in circles). I had
been giving her CS in her drinking water because she came to us sneezing.
After the sneezing cleared up, she developed this head tilt. I put one drop of
a CS, Oregano Oil, Grapefruit Seed Oil mix that my local health food store
sells into the ear tonight. Does anyone have any other ideas to help this baby
kick this infection ASAP?

Thanks,

I should clarify that not all of my moles disappeared when using the Essiac-
just the one that was very abnormal and the other worrisome spots.

For mole removal I have read that many people have success using a cold-pressed
castor oil and baking soda paste. I have not tried it yet.

Ed was kind enough to pass along a good site for Essiac info. Thanks, Ed.

Bob,
This is fabulous and timely news. My blind old lady dog has just popped up with
several tumors. I haven't had them tested as of yet to determine if they are
benign, or what. I am absolutely determined that my dog will not die of cancer,
nor will I subject her to any invasive treatments. This type of suggestion is
just what I'm looking for.

I do have to ask- do you simply rub it through the hair, or do you shave the
spots over the tumors?

Thanks so much,

  Teri,

The ingredients are almost identical to most of the cansema type
escharotic salves, I have no doubt it will work. I use a similar product on
horses to cure melanoma as well as benign tumors in the skin. Works every
time... usually within a week or less. Actual malignancies can take longer,
but it still works. In fact it can be fed internally for cancer almost
anywhere in the body. Dosage is important and must be started slowly with a
small amount. A protein source is usually recommeded to be taken at the
same time... milk, soy milk, peanut butter, etc. Apparently it buffers the
herbs so they aren't as harsh on the stomach lining.Should also be taken
with food... never on an empty stomach, usually a pea sized portion or two
  per day.

While I wasn't officially diagnosed with skin cancer, I had several very
questionable spots/moles that made the doctor give me a referral to a
dermatologist in about 5 seconds. The appointment was 2 weeks away, so in the
meantime I took Essiac Tea (Flor-Essence). By the time my appt. rolled around
all spots and the abnormal mole, were gone and I cancelled it.

From my experience, I highly recommend it.
