When I use TB!, the server runs on the same machine so my connection is very fast and still with strange delays. However, the problems start when the mailbox is big and aggravated even further if you're browsing the mailbox and new messages are being frequently added as you do so. I'm just thinking now that threading may have something to do with this and will try without threading enabled. I doubt it though. I turned mine off, just now, using the right-click context menu. Went to another message with a double-click on the Folder Message List. Right-clicked and ticked Quick Search back on. It appeared. I closed the message and double-clicked yet another message from the Folder Message List. The Quick Search toolbar remained. This could get annoying. Who else can reproduce this? Could you please send me your tbuser.def file? This is simply the Search toolbar of the message viewer window, which is docked next to its Standard toolbar by default. For some reason, the Search toolbar then takes the initial focus, when you open the window initially. Obviously, the focus should be on the message body. Note that this does NOT happen when you undock the Search toolbar, or turn it off. (I always turn it off, I rather just use the normal Find command. Btw, turning off this toolbar only works since 3.5.0.16 or so :) pgpjQTw5qDsRe.pgp Description: PGP signature Current beta is 3.5.0.17 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/

Same here, that is with two accounts, but over 45 MB memory and 39 MB VM ASK I can slightly increase the memory usage if I browse messages in the ASK messagelist heavily (ie. quickly clicking on random messages). Memory usage ASK increases with every three or five messages, it goes down again as well, ASK but not all the way to where it was before you started clicking wildly. :-) Silly thing is that after restarting just now TB does 35MB mem and 27 MB VM -- Groetjes, Roelof and that is how we know the Earth is banana-shaped.
