If I've understood you correctly you need to but the macro %CURSOR in
the relevant place in your template.

Eg

On %DATE, %FROMNAME wrote on the subject %SUBJ

Re[2]: link wrapping

2004-05-27 Thread John Cunnane
TF No, TB doesn't do that. I know that other email clients break URLs
TF when displaying and cause problems, but not TB. That's one of the
TF beauties of TB.

If the original mail was sent in HTML format and you reply in a plain
text format such as MicroEd, then The Bat! seems to have a big problem
with certain characters in a URL, e.g. the character which it
replaces with a space character. Hence, if you use MicroEd to reply to
a HTML mail, you may well find that the link is 'broken' and it wraps
round because it now contains spaces.

That's odd. Your shortcut works for collapsing all threads here. For

Problem with MyMacros 1.10 %RegRead

2004-05-27 Thread Dan Grunberg
I updated to version 1.10 of the MyMacros plug-in. (I seem to recall
that my old version was 1.07).

Under MyMacros 1.07, the %RegRead macro could be used in a Quick
Template to return the number of minutes difference between the time
and my computer's time zone and UTC. For example. MyMacros 1.07 during
Eastern Daylight Time, which is UTC-4:00, the following construct
yielded 240.

%RegRead(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation\ActiveTimeBias)

Under MyMacros version 1.10, the same construct yields the following
line:

 *** Error ***

1. I used RegEdit to look at the ActiveTimeBias value in the Registry
and it is 240.

2. I checked MyMacros' help file. I noticed that %RegRead is shown
with a after the ( and another before the ) .

3. I put the into the construct and it still yields:

 *** Error ***

Can anyone confirm my results poor results with MyMacros 1.10?

What can I do to fix things?

Should I go back to MyMacros 1.07. If so, where can I get it?

But seriously, Hotmail uses a proprietary protocol and not the

will convert the protocols. IIRC the name is hotmailpopper or hot2pop.

Costas It may be a stupid question, but where does one in fact find
Costas these links?

I just explained this in detail on TBUDL seven days ago.

Here it is again:

Provided you didn't delete your message this is in reply to, click the
below MID.

mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Next, one of two things will happen.

1. If the message the MID references is in the same folder as the
message containing the MID you just clicked on, it'll take you
   right to the message.

2. If you're using a virtual folder or mail ticker VF to read the
message, you'll get a dialog box asking which folders to search in.
At this point you would choose TBUDL (or whatever folder you keep
   your TBUDL messages in).

Walla! That's how MID references work. It's like a shortcut to a
message you have somewhere in one of the TB folders. If you completely
delete the message that the MID was referring to, then TB isn't going
to find it.
