RE: [SOGo] Some Questions about SoGo

2012-10-01 Thread Sebastian Pfohl
Thx for your answers. My Zarafa Server runs under Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Server (in a
VMware Environment at this time). So this seems to be fine.

If i go to https://github.com/xbgmsharp/sogosync, i can see that this seems to
be a Z-Push fork. Is this a own trunk, or can i use my current Z-Push
Installation and only do some configuration in config.php to get it to work
with SoGo?

[SOGo] yum updating/grading from 2.xbeta nightly to release - How

2012-10-01 Thread Götz Reinicke - IT Koordinator
Hi,

I installed sogo 2.x from sogo-nightly-rhel6. Now if I do a yum update
against the sogo-rhel6 repo, I just get updates for sope49.

My system is also a centos 6.

Currently sogo-2.0_20120917-1.centos6.x86_64 is installed.

If I do a yum against the sogo-nightly-rhel6 repo I do get offered the
sogo-2.0_20121001-1.centos6.

May be there is some mess regarding the versions/repos on my system?

How do I update/migrate to the stabel repo?

Thanks and best regards. Götz

[SOGo] Problem with Safari on Mac

2012-10-01 Thread Stefan Peter
Hello *,

I've a problem to connect to Sogo via webfrontend with Safari Browser (Mac).

If I login via webfrontend the browser - I guess - is redirected to
https://domain/SOGo/so/username/view and then to Email, Calendar
... like the user settings.

This works with Chrome, Firefox and Opera, but not with Safari (also not
on my iPad). Safari tries to resolve https://sogo/so/Username/Mail ,
which does not work, obviously.

If I enter the URL https://domain/SOGo/so/username/Mail by hand, it
works.

Any suggestions?

P.S.: I use Version 2.0.0 (@shiva 201209270030) on Debian squeeze and
Safari 6.0.1

Database is mysql and tables were created.

Log says on startup:

WOxElemBuilder: could not locate builders: WOxExtElemBuilder,WOxExtElemBuilder

And every time I click login:

Testing UserSource in Webmin-Plugin gives success. So what is the name

Re: [SOGo] Sogo 2.0 and strange email window

2012-10-01 Thread Thomas Dilts
A little update on this I now tried my chrome browser, and it
displayed the email window correctly. So now I know this is browser
related. Then I turned my Windows Explorer to Explorer 9 mode (I have
explorer 10). Still bad. Then I tried explorer 8 mode and it
displayed correctly. To summarize

1. Windows Explorer 10... Bad
2. Windows Explorer 9... Bad
3. Windows Explorer 8 GOOD
4. Google Chrome 22.0 Good

Should I report this as a bug??

Re: [SOGo] Problem with Safari on Mac

2012-10-01 Thread Stefan Peter
I solved the problem ...

In /etc/apache2/conf.d/SOGo.conf I commented the following lines to
address the same sogo-Server from different domains.

# RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-port 443
# RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-name domain
#  RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-url https://domain;
RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-url https://;

I think the last line did the error. I commented it too (#) and it's
working now with Safari.

Thank you for your suggestions.

Ciao! Stefan

Which DBMS do you use?

You can check your access parameters as user sogo with:

defaults read sogod SOGoProfileURL
defaults read sogod OCSFolderInfoURL

And if you use a DBMS as authorization source with:
defaults read sogod SOGoUserSources

 Which DBMS do you use?
 MySQL, Postgresql or Oracle?

You can check your access parameters as user sogo with:
 defaults read sogod OCSSessionsFolderURL
 defaults read sogod SOGoProfileURL
 defaults read sogod OCSFolderInfoURL

And if you use a DBMS as authorization source with:
 defaults read sogod SOGoUserSources

hi christian,

sorry -- i should have been more specific --

i'm running mysql, but i have upgraded and downgraded so many times,
that i'm not sure if i have the right database structure to match my
sogo version.

[SOGo] Rebuild SOGo package on squeeze

2012-10-01 Thread Slávek Banko
Hi all,

as with several previous versions, I'm trying to rebuild the source DEB
package for Squeeze to add patches from:

+ http://www.sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=1061

But with SOGo 2.0.0 rebuild fails. I use the original source package from
Inverse APT source. And pbuilder for rebuild.

[SOGo] Native Microsoft Outlook installation 2.0 gone really bad

2012-10-01 Thread Thomas Dilts
After what I had thought was the last step of Native Microsoft Outlook
installation 2.0 on my Ubuntu server 12.04, Now I am totally locked out
of the server. It seems that something is wrong with the sldap setup.

I noticed the problem after the Adding Users section where I added
only myself. I noticed I could not run anything sudo . I didn't get
any error messages when running sudo, just nothing would happen... Then
I got kicked out of my ssh session. And now I am locked out from both
SSH and the server's terminal.

I restarted the server through the hardware button since I can't even
log-in. I get a message when restarting that sldap failed...

I assume the problem occured perhaps in the OpenChange configuration
scripts however they ran exactly as expected. I have tried logging into
the server with another administrator's username and password but it is
the same thing. I simply can't log in either with the server terminal
or ssh.

Any ideas on what I can do?

strangely enough, I can ftp into the server. That seems my only way in
and out.

Hi,

since today the problem is gone. Sadly i can't exactly explain how.

Mainly i re-activate the personal calendar (which was deactivated the
whole time due to some errors in the past) in the webUI (TB Cals with
Cache) and now no errors occur with TB and alle events are showing.

Thanks again for the great work with sogo and to the community :-)

Thanks for the answer. I've been a little bit bussy in the meantime,

I've create a new profile with TB, added lightning 1.2.3 and
subscribed one of the calendars, which works fine. After Reboot the
calendar is showing the events (stored in cache), but it is not
possible to add or change en event (Error: Modification failed).

This is the same on linux (ubuntu) and Win XP.

Are you sure that is a client problem ?

I'll test the integrator-xpi the next days. Perhaps this will work.

Kindly regards

Seems a client side problem, can you try to empty your thunderbird
profile and re-install addon?

[SOGo] All-day events created in MS Outlook go one day back - SOGo 2.0, MS Exchange connectivity

I have configured MS Outlook with the native MS Exchange connectivity to SOGo.
If I create an all-day event in MS Outlook it is correctly displayed in its
calendar but in SOGo and in Thunderbird it is displayed one day back. I have
the same timezone in SOGo

I created another event in MS Outlook but in different profile where I have a

Please, what is wrong?
How can I fix it?

Do you have samba4 and openchange in the chroot environment?

Thanks,
Slavek

I have the standard Debian Squeeze apt sources, Inverse stable apt
source and also Inverse nightly apt source. Previous three versions I
built by this way without any problems. All that was needed for build
SOGo from Samby4 was used from Inverse APT sources.

Have you successfully rebuilt a nightly build this way before?
Or only the releases?

My guess is that there is a Build Dependency missing from the control file.

I always build only stable releases. I tried to compare:

  diff -u sogo-1.3.18a/debian/control sogo-2.0.0/debian/control

No differences.

Please pass on all Possible options for SOGoCalendarDefaultRoles
SOGoCalendarDefaultRoles sets the access privileges for every user of
 SOGo on newly created calendars.

Create and delete privileges are set once for the whole calendar object.
You can set it to ObjectCreator and/or ObjectEraser.

Access and modify privileges are separated for the three confidentiality
 levels of events/tasks:
 Public, Confidential and Private.
For each level you can set it either to DAndTViewer, Viewer,
 Responder or Modifier.

Ok for this !
I've set up custom default rules that are good for internal use.
But how can we add a default role to none for anonymous access ?

Oh right.
However the rules files differ, we were not building Openchange/ in 1.x
so that's why the problem arise only now.

Can you add a Build-Depend on python-samba in the control file and retry?

Yes, with a little effort it's possible to get SOGo running on ARM
hardware. But of course this only makes sense for a rather limited
number of users, especially if your users plan to use the web interface
on a regular basis. For personal/family use I had 1.3.x installed on a
QNAP 112 (Debian squeeze, 2.6.32-5-kirkwood, armv5tel) until this
weekend and just upgraded to 2.0 (both compiled without openchange
support). Compiling SOGo and SOPE libraries on armel takes some time,
but if you're familiar with (re)building Debian packages (dpkg-source,
dpkg-checkbuilddeps, dpkg-buildpackage) it is rather straight forward.
If you need any help, let me know.

Unfortunately. Python error disappeared, but the subsequent crash is the
same. I attach a build-log.

the GUID struct is declared in gen_ndr/misc.h which is shipped with the
samba4-dev.

I thought python-samba would pull that in, but it looks like it doesn't.
Can you add samba4-dev to Build-Depends and retry?

Hopefully those are the only 2 missing dependencies.

Thanks.

Thank you for your help and effort.

Hmm that's weird, struct server_id is defined in gen_ndr/server_id.h
which is shipped with samba4-dev

Can you re-send the build log?
