Hello,
You can use this extension:
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Numbered%20Headings
or add a StyleSheetExtension Object to a page with this custom CSS style
(http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Numbered%20Headings#HImplementation)
 and select Always on this wiki

Hello,[quote="nmartin1984, post:3, topic:166"]
Ran into an issue when using this on subwiki. It's unable to locate the Space

Hello, I have the same issue here on xwiki 8.4.4 with:

[xwiki-users] How to display all pages under a location with livetable?

2017-04-20 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,

With nested pages (on xwiki 8.4.4), I want to list all pages under a location.
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Livetable%20Macro#HAllacceptedvalues
Doc indicate: extraParams' : "= to Find all the documents from a given
specific space but "(Nested Spaces are not included)."
I understand that Nested Spaces under the space are not included.

Then how can I list all pages (nested and children) under a specific location?

I can not use "=" because I want all pages (terminal and nested page)
under a nested page (and not another nested page with same name)

I must use queryFilters, then?

Thxs.

[xwiki-users] NestedPagesMigration issue

2017-04-13 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,

I ran some NestedPagesMigration migrator
(http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Nested Pages Migrator
Application) tests before use it on my server.

Did you notice that the applcation didn't respect the checked action checkbox?

I click on "Compute plan", uncheck all pages checkbox but only one page
checkbox with his children (ie sandbox with 3 children pages) and click on
"execute plan" and log show that all pages are converted...:

Start the execution of the plan.
Converting [xwiki:Encyclopédie.SMQ-P3 : Forge et autres outils] to
[xwiki:Encyclopédie.SMQ-P3 : Forge et autres outils].
Converting [xwiki:Encyclopédie.Enterprise Architect] to
[xwiki:Encyclopédie.Enterprise Architect.WebHome].
Converting [xwiki:Encyclopédie.TMA 2016 - Groupe de travail] to
[xwiki:Encyclopédie.TMA 2016 - Groupe de travail].
Converting [xwiki:Encyclopédie.TMA DCE 2016 - Pièces constitutives] to
[xwiki:Encyclopédie.TMA DCE 2016 - Pièces constitutives.WebHome].
Converting [xwiki:Sandbox.WebHome] to [xwiki:Sandbox.WebHome].
Converting [xwiki:Sandbox.TestPage1] to [xwiki:Sandbox.TestPage1.WebHome].

I use Nested Pages Migrator Application 0.7 on xwiki 8.4.4 (after xwiki 7.0.1
upgrade)

2017-04-10 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
ok thxs both :-)

I will probably exclude ./mails, ./cache, ./solr from my tar.gz file (and
remove lucene).

The main purpose is to clean a little bit before xwiki version upgrade
I confirm that "mails" and "cache" are tiny:
# du --max-depth=1 -h ./
448K./mails
32M ./extension
4,8M./lucene
3,8G./storage
94M ./solr
8,5M./jobs
1,9M./cache
4,0G./

2017-04-10 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,

Could you tell me chich subdirectory to delete for xwiki cleaning in my
environment.permanentDirectory=/home//data_xwiki/?

When I need to restart, upgrade xwiki or save my data subdirectory, I wonder
which subdirectory I can delete...

I know I can remove: /home//data_xwiki/solr

Re: [xwiki-users] How to create default terminal page ?

2017-04-03 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,

here my code to do this:

diff templates/createinline.vm templates/createinline.vm.ori
300c300
< #if ($deprecatedSpaceCreate)
---
> #if (!($isAdvancedUser || $isSuperAdmin) || $deprecatedSpaceCreate)
304c304
<
---
>value="terminal" #if(!$isSpace)checked="checked"#end/>

it's allowing standard user to uncheck "Terminal page", here checked by default.

I understand (now) that nested page must be the default for all new page.
I must try to convince my boss about that...

[xwiki-users] xwiki 8.4.4 and office presentation viewer problem

2017-03-29 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,

I have a problem with office presentation viewer. It is not displayed
presentation slides when I use it because the jpg url is incorrect.

I use a tomcat server and proxy-ajp on apache2 (i followed xwiki doc)

My xwiki is on root of my server name.

If I click on the eye icone from an odp file in a page, my browser goint to
this url: (under /bin/view/):
http://my.server.name.fr/bin/view/Encyclop%C3%A9die/Agenda%20du%20management%20de%20la%20qualit%C3%A9%20au%20CP2I?xpage=office=04072016-r%C3%A9union%20du%20r%C3%A9seau%20des%20auditeurs-VT-VDB-ME.odp
 but didn't display slide .

I saw with firebug that my browser didn't manage to display jpg file generated
by xwiki: (/tmp)
http://my.server.name.fr/tmp/officeviewer/document%3Axwiki%3AEncyclop%C3%A9die.Agenda+du+management+de+la+qualit%C3%A9+au+CP2I/0/04072016-r%C3%A9union+du+r%C3%A9seau+des+auditeurs-VT-VDB-ME-slide0.jpg

I use this in my server.xml:

and found target jpg file on
/home/path/work/ROOT/xwiki-temp/tmp/officeviewer/xwiki/xx subdirectory

I didn't found source of this error.

If someone could help me?

Re: [xwiki-users] How to manage applications list?

2017-03-23 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,

vmassol and tmortgane give me these answers when chatting with them.

Here:

To add a new custom application in applications index:
- http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/ExtensionPoint/
- http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/ExtensionPoint/
- http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/ExtensionPoint/AddApplicationUIX

Like I said applications panel show applications I select with "Administration
- applications panel":

http://localhost:8080/xwiki/bin/admin/XWiki/XWikiPreferences?editor=globaladmin§ion=panels.applications

Application index show all applications because it is his main feature.

To hide applications for users, like scheduler I must use permissions on the
app space (ie set view rights for adminGroups)

To have exactly the same display as the app panel, in Applications.WebHome I
must replace:
#displayAppEntries('org.xwiki.platform.panels.Applications', '')
with
#set ($configDoc =
$xwiki.getDocument($services.model.createDocumentReference('', 'PanelsCode',
'ApplicationsPanelConfiguration')))
#displayAppEntries('org.xwiki.platform.panels.Applications' $configDoc)

I wonder why you don't store this translation key here:

in ApplicationResources.properties file after

IMO, It is difficult to find translation key now (for new devs)

 I figured this out while
 fixing the live table. The tutorial code references the
 class and template pages as "FAQ.FAQClass" and
 "FAQ.FAQTemplate". However the pages actually
 created from the Class Editor wizard have a space:
 "FAQ.FAQ Class" and "FAQ.FAQ Template".
 After adding the space everything is working as expected. I
 may have made a mistake in following the tutorial but it
 didn't feel like it. Perhaps the tutorial needs updated
 to reflect changes in the Class Editor.

Hello,

If you want something very simple to create, you can also use a
class/sheet/template to make your checkbox:
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/DevGuide/FAQTutorial/FAQTutorialManual
or :
http://www.theserverside.com/news/1363830/XWiki-A-Platform-for-Collaborative-Apps
 (Understanding Classes and Objects create a todo app)

If you don't want store checkbox data, users could use the template (or another
page)

 I am making a several lists with
 tasks and associated checkboxes. The checkbox data will not
 be stored or used in any way. It's only purpose is as a
 reminder of tasks which have been completed.

 My best idea for achieving this is to write a wiki macro
 using the HTML macro to insert a checkbox input. However
 this means I have to develop list tabbing behavior and write
 my macro reference repeatedly in each list space.

 Does any one know of a better or easier way to create a
 checkbox list?

 Note that if you are

 Velocity variables

 Velocity is very far from supporting Java
 syntax. Plus here you seems
 to be mixing
 CollectionsTool and TreeMap javadoc. CollectionsTool
 contains only one getSortedMap() method and it
 has no parameter.

 There
 does not seems to be any way to get a TreeMap configured
 with
 String.CASE_INSENSITIVE comparator in
 Velocity. The main issue is that
 you
 can't create an object or access a static variable in
 Velocity so
 no way to use a method that
 takes a Comparator as parameter even if
 there was one (which is not the case for
 maps).

 Right now the only
 alternatives seems to be:
 * use Groovy
 * write a script service in Java that provide
 the feature
 * patch CollectionsTool to add a
 way to pass a comparator to the various methods

[xwiki-users] How to sort hashmap with velocity?

Hello,

with velocity I have a hashmap: sort of variable with (key:value) that I want
to sort, then I use:
#set ($myHashMap = $collectionstool.getSortedMap(String, String))
$myHashMap.put('Mykey3','My value 3')
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/ScriptingDocumentation/?url=http:%2F%2Fnexus.xwiki.org%2Fnexus%2Fservice%2Flocal%2Frepositories%2Fpublic%2Farchive%2Forg%2Fxwiki%2Fcommons%2Fxwiki-commons-velocity%2F8.2.1%2Fxwiki-commons-velocity-8.2.1-javadoc.jar%2F!%2Forg%2Fxwiki%2Fvelocity%2Ftools%2FCollectionsTool.html%23getSortedMap--

It's working well ... except with uppercase because I want a sort with
insensitive case.

I tried to decrypt Javadoc and I found I could use:
String.CASE_INSENSITIVE_ORDER
#set ($myHashMap = $collectionstool.getSortedMap(String.CASE_INSENSITIVE_ORDER,
String))
#set ($myHashMap = $collectionstool.getSortedMap(String::compareToIgnoreCase,
String)) with java8
but unfortunaly it doesn't work (I have xwiki error)

Any idea to sort my hashmap with with insensitive case?

(Unfortunaly the better way I found is an ugly way: I mix velocity with a piece
of groovy but I'm not satisfied at all because I use velocity loop and other
if.)

Re: [xwiki-users] Nested document killed {{spaceindex}} macro?

2016-12-15 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Thxs for your advices but I didn't found a way to displayed last edited
documents but finally I edited the code to resolve my use case.
My spaceindex
{{spaceindex sort="modificationDate" count="20" /}}
displayed this nice screen now:
https://snag.gy/ia6XOZ.jpg

Imodified spaceindex macro to list all last doc (nested and terminale page)
from current space:
/bin/edit/Main/SpaceIndex?editor=object with
*
  #if ("$!spaceMacroParam" != '')
#set ($spaceParam = $spaceMacroParam)
  #end
#set ($docNames = $services.query.hql("where doc.space like ? or doc.space like
? order by
$sortQuery").addFilter('currentlanguage').addFilter('hidden').setLimit($limit).bindValues(["${spaceParam}","${spaceParam}.%"]).execute())
  #if ($docNames.size() == $limit)
##set ($docCount = $services.query.xwql('where doc.space =
:space').bindValue('space', $spaceParam).addFilter('unique').count())
#set ($docCount = $services.query.hql("where doc.space like ? or doc.space
like
?").bindValues(["${spaceParam}","${spaceParam}.%"]).addFilter('unique').count())
#set ($remaining = $mathtool.sub($docCount, $limit))
#if ($remaining > 0)
(% class="documentListMore" %) (((
//Liste des $limit derniers documents $sortMessg.//
{{html}}{{/html}} //[[Consulter la liste
complète>>Main.SpaceIndex||queryString="space=$spaceParam"]]//
)))
#end
  #end
  {{html}}
#displayDocumentList($docNames false [])
*
and edited displayDocumentList macro in ./templates/macros.vm to add nice
folder icon for parent page:
*
  #foreach($document in $documentList)
#if ($document.getSpace() != $previousSpace && $displaySpaces)
  #if($velocityCount > 1)  #end ## Close previous space
item if needed
${escapetool.xml($document.getSpace())} ## Open new space item
  #set($previousSpace = $document.getSpace())
#end
#if ($document.name == 'WebHome')
  ${escapetool.xml($document.getPlainTitle())}
#else
  ${escapetool.xml($document.getPlainTitle())}
#end
  #end
  #if($displaySpaces)
*
I haven't page and parent name with dot may be I will check my code again when
I have some (I'm too lazy)

A better fix would be to add a new sort parameter in treeview but I didn't
found the query in xwiki code.

I didn't found equivalent of {{spaceindex sort="modificationDate" count="20"
/}} then I must modify hql query in: /bin/edit/Main/SpaceIndex?editor=object
but I failed too too! :-(

I would to list all documents (terminale page and child space) under a root
space, the i use this query :

#set ($docNames = $services.query.hql("from XWikiSpace as space where doc.space
= space.reference and ((doc.space like ? )) order by
$sortQuery").addFilter('currentlanguage').addFilter('hidden').setLimit($limit).bindValues([${spaceParam}]).execute())

- $spaceParam is my root Space
- $sortQuery = 'doc.contentUpdateDate desc'
but the query displayed this error:

Caused by: org.hibernate.hql.ast.QuerySyntaxException: Invalid path:
'doc.space' [from com.xpn.xwiki.doc.XWikiSpace as space where doc.space =
space.reference and ((doc.space like ? )) order by doc.contentUpdateDate desc]

Thxs.

(I didn't found the query of Document Tree in source code either)

I think the problem coming from secure stuff (chroot, acl, reverse proxy, etc.)
on our data center but i don't know where to search error source :-/

 The error you pasted have
 nothing to do with
 http://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI-7984
 plus XWIKI-7984 is specific to
 Jboss

 The code macro works
 well with Tomcat and the setup you indicated is
 pretty standard for XWiki. It's probably a
 Jython or Pygments bug with
 the specific
 content you tried.

 Does the
 macro work with some very simple content like:

 {{/code}}

 If it work with other content then please
 create a jira issue with the

 reproduce the error and we will try to reproduce it and
 understand where it come from exactly.

Re: [xwiki-users] API/Scripting : create user and attach some files to its profile

2016-11-27 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,

I added some others attributes (I don't know if you can do the same with file)
Add some attributes here: /bin/edit/XWiki/XWikiUsers?editor=class
e.g. myaddress
(disabled it to prevent your user modified it)

Add this field "myaddress" on the sheet: /bin/view/XWiki/AdminUserProfileSheet
and finally add it in xwiki.cfg:
#-# retrieve the following fields from LDAP and store them in the XWiki user
object (xwiki-attribute=ldap-attribute)
xwiki.authentication.ldap.fields_mapping=last_name=sn,first_name=givenName,email=xcut,myaddress=street
and choose a value for this setting:
#-# On every login update the mapped attributes from LDAP to XWiki otherwise
this happens only once when the XWiki
#-# account is created.
#-# - 0: only when creating user
#-# - 1: at each authentication
#-# The default is 0
xwiki.authentication.ldap.update_user=1

(eventually add a XWiki.TranslationDocumentClass to translate myaddress
attribute)

 Hi,

 I'm working on a registration system around xwiki.

 The basic workflow is the user is created in a LDAP
 directory at
 registration time. Then the user can login to xwiki.
 It's only upon the first successful login to xwiki that the
 user's xwiki
 profile is created in xwiki database.

 Now here is my point : how could I prepare the user profile
 *before* he
 gets connected ? For example I would be able to attach some
 files to
 XWiki. and why not some others attributes.

 Is anyone already achieved this ?

Heu it is not the same?

Then maybe I found an issue because without "xwiki:"
documentReference.hasParent doesn't work:
On jetty package 8.4:
I paste this velocity code: in the page:
http://localhost:8080/xwiki/bin/edit/Parnt/sousParent/WebHome
$doc.documentReference.hasParent('space:Parnt') doesn't work (false)
$doc.documentReference.hasParent('space:xwiki:Parnt') work well (true)

$doc.documentReference.hasParent('space:sousParent') doesn't work (false)
$doc.documentReference.hasParent('space:xwiki:Parnt.sousParent') work well
(true)

Right :-) $doc.documentReference.hasParent('space:xwiki:Encyclopédie') work
well but I don't understand why we must use "xwiki" in space name.
I suppose I must use all space path.

I mean: is it the same utility?

Sorry I wanted to write:
#set ($reference = $services.model.resolveSpace('xwiki:MySpace'))
#set ($reference = $services.model.resolveDocument('xwiki:MySpace.MyPage'))
but mayb it is not necessary because you told me than xwiki automatically
convert parameters to the right type.

[xwiki-users] Some interrogations about reference

2016-11-24 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello xwiki users

I need a little bit of light about reference.

I use this methods, hasParent(EntityReference expectedParent) and i noticed
that I can not use string to set EntityReference.
Then i must use this before: "#set ($reference =
$services.model.resolveSpace('xwiki:Encyclopédie'))" and
"$doc.documentReference.hasParent($reference)" because
$doc.documentReference.hasParent('xwiki:Encyclopédie') doesn't work.
Am I right? Anyway, I can understand that.

Another point about documentation
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Model+Module#HScriptServiceAPI
 (because I spend a lot of time to identify my issue because the "x" characters:
Create a Document Reference: "#set ($reference =
$services.model.createDocumentReference("wiki", ["space"], "page"))"
 but
$doc.documentReference.spaceReferences.get(0) display "Space
xwiki:Encyclopédie".
Reference use "xwiki" but createDocumentReference use "wiki"?
"wiki" is it a wiki name example?

Another question:
What is the difference between: $services.model.createDocumentReference and
services.model.resolveDocument?
With resolveDocument the Page must exist?
Can I use CreateDocumentReference if target document exist?

Last point:
I think these 2 simples examples missing in:
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Model+Module#HScriptServiceAPI
#set ($reference = $services.model.resolveSpace('xwiki:MySpace'))
#set ($reference = $services.model.resolveSpace('xwiki:MySpace.MyPage'))
What do you think?

 Hi everyone,

 Just to let you know that on the 28th of October, there were
 234 members of the xwiki users list who’ve been
 automatically disabled (ie they’re not going to receive
 mails). This is apparently caused by a change in Yahoo’s
 email policy:

 Pascal,

 I advise you not to use the
 style tag in HTML (or WIKI code for that
 matter) - only as a last resort. It is good
 practice to separate
 structure from
 presentation. W3C made a rather comprehensive explanation

 on this, see link below.

 https://www.w3.org/2001/tag/doc/contentPresentation-26.html

 It may seem like a little
 cumbersome now, but it will help you in the end.

 Greetings,

[xwiki-users] riddle: howto insert a simple span with xwiki syntax?

2016-10-18 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,

With wiki syntax I failed to insert a simple span in a velocity macro
(Blog./BlogCode):

#macro(publishMessageBox $message)
(% class="plainmessage publish-message" %)((($message)))
#end

display:

This article was published on 17/10/2016 16:47:06

and I want a span in front of $message like this:

 This article was published
on 17/10/2016 16:47:06

Is it possible (I can not use {{html}} because code is escaped)?

Here my test and what is displayed:
(% class="plainmessage publish-message" %)% class="glyphicon
glyphicon-globe" %)((( )))$message)))
display

This article was published on 17/10/2016 16:47:06

=> With div instead span it is ok BUT there are inserted :-( !

(% class="plainmessage publish-message" %)% class="glyphicon
glyphicon-globe" %)$message)))

This article was published on
17/10/2016 16:47:06

=> span inserted BUT I don't want end of span at the end of the $message

(% class="plainmessage publish-message" %)% class="glyphicon
glyphicon-globe" %)((())) $message)))

This article was published on 17/10/2016 16:47:06

=> With div instead span it is ok BUT there are inserted :-( !

Have you got a solution?

[xwiki-users] Issues when I upgraded my xwiki 7.0.1 to xwiki 8.2.1: breadcrumb question

2016-10-11 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,

About my "I upgraded my xwiki 7.0.1 to xwiki 8.2.1" episode, I have a new
question (last one I hope).

On Xwiki 7.0.1 some users modify parent/page (breadcrumb path) but when I
upgraded to xwiki 8.2.1, this breadcrumb are lost because the breadcrumb show
now the true emplacement of current page.

I have some question about it:
- For all pages with breadcrumb modified, I must convert manually terminale
"parent"page in none terminale page ?
- how can I retrieve these pages with breadcrumb modified ?
- when I upgrade xwiki the old breadcrumb information is lost (overwrited by
new one)?

[xwiki-users] upgraded xwiki 7.0.1 to 8.2.1: bootstrap/tooltip problem

2016-10-05 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,
I upgraded xwiki 7.0.1 to 8.2.1 but it seem that
bootstrap/tooltip doesn't work anymore.

I use bootstrap to show tooltip:
https://bootstrapdocs.com/v3.3.6/docs/javascript/#tooltips

In my page I paste this code:
{{html}}
Tooltip on right
{{/html}}

and add a JSX object with jquery to call tooltip:
require(['jquery'], function ($) {
   $(function () {
 $('[data-toggle="tooltip"]').tooltip()
   })
});

NB: if I paste this code:
{{html}}

Tooltip on right
{{/html}}
tooltip working well.

I tested on a page from xwiki 7.0.1 and exported on jetty package 8.2.1
but I didn't found the error in HTML source.

Thxs for any help

Right I agree ACL is still in WebPreference page but I understand what Marius
said: children pages in a space (a page on the xwiki root) have space.webhome
(and not space.WebPreference) for parent...

I understand that: If you set rights access on Encyclopédie.WebPreference page:
- "rights: page & children" are applied on children pages ... and
Encyclopédie.WebHome!
-" rights on page" are applied on Encyclopédie.WebHome (XWiki.XWikiRights
objects are added)
Then I don't know which rights are applied if "rights: page & children" and
"rights on page" are different?
I suppose that "rights: page & children" must be "rights: children pages"
instead ?

> > -
> Pascal, did you set the rights manually on that page?
On xWiki 7.0.1, yes Global xwiki right and encyclopédie space rigt, then I
upgrade xwiki to 8.2.1 and I encoutered the problem

> > - Were the rights set as space rights

Previous rights are well migrated but my user couldn't create page anymore.
To resolve my problem I apply again correct rights without success. But during
my chat with Thomas, we saw that is is not a right access the problem: rights
are correctly applied but "+" icone is not displayed:

[xwiki-users] Issues when I upgraded my xwiki 7.0.1 to xwiki 8.2.1: search feature

2016-10-04 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,

After upgrading my xwiki 7.0.1 to 8.2.1, i encoutered another issue: xwiki
search feature doesn't work anymore.
I use Tomcat 8.0.33 + Postrgesqk 9.3 and attachments in file system and
connected with Admin account.

On page
./bin/view/Main/Search?text=test_type=DOCUMENT_locale=fr_locale==1 , I
have this ugly error message displayed:
"Failed to execute the [velocity] macro. Cause: [The resolver parameter doesn't
contain an Entity Reference of type [SPACE]]. Click on this message for
details."

First my catalina.out show this:
"2016-10-04 10:45:00,116 [XWiki initialization] WARN
onfiguredQueryExecutorProvider - Could not find a QueryExecutor with hint
[hibernate] which is the hint for the storage engine, defined in your XWiki
configuration under the [xwiki.store.main.hint] property. The default
QueryExecutor will be used instead. Reason: [ComponentLookupException: Can't
find descriptor for the component [role = [interface
org.xwiki.query.QueryExecutor] hint = [hibernate]]]"
then I disabled this line in "WEB-INF/xwiki.cfg"
# test xwiki.store.main.hint=hibernate
because
http://xwiki.markmail.org/message/q4zgcgki5ppuekwb?q=The+default+QueryExecutor+will+be+used+instead

This workaround removed "Could not find a QueryExecutor with hint [hibernate]
which is the hint for the storage engine" message in log but it doesn't
resolve my probem (same error message:The resolver parameter doesn't contain an
Entity Reference of type [SPACE]]. )

Here a piece of my catalina.out, if someone already found a fix.
Thxs for any help

[xwiki-users] Issues when I upgraded my xwiki 7.0.1 to xwiki 8.2.1: FCKeditor on textarea and annotations with HTML code

2016-09-30 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,

I tested two upgrades of my xwiki 7.0.1 to 8.2.1 and I have same strange
problem in new version:

- FCKEditor is launched at all textarea elements, ie: on "Administer xwiki"
page:
https://snag.gy/M5gheJ.jpg

- when I use "annotation", input field is filled with HTML code instead of
empty:
https://snag.gy/3dxoIK.jpg

Here HTML code in annotation input field:
http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd;>
http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml; lang="fr" xml:lang="fr">

If someone have an idea or already fixed theses problems?

[xwiki-users] ACL missunderstand

2016-09-09 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,

I don't understand very well how new ACL working with nested page with 8.2.1
compared to spaces ACL on 7.x version

About ACL, what use on xwiki 7.0.1 is:
- read for XWikiAllGroup (everyone)
- write + create page for "XWikiEditeurs" on "Encyclopédie" space (and read
for every other page on this wiki)
(I know wiki spirirt mean everyhome can write but my Boss...)

then what I use on xwiki 7.x:
- on main xwiki, I forbidden Edit for XWikiAllGroup
- on "Encyclopédie space" I allowed "edit" for "XWikiEditeurs" (+ read and
comment)
 and forbidden "edit" for allow only "read" and "comment" for XWikiAllGroup
because I know that in my case, ACL on space overwriting wiki ACL

When I upgrade from 7.0.1 to 8.2.1, I encoutered ACL problem, no one could
create page on all the wiki :-/

I find that the cause is "forbidden Edit for XWikiAllGroup" on main wiki.

My questions is: how ACL overwriting working with xwiki 8.2.1?
Is ACL right with "Rights: Page & Children" is similar to space ACL?
What if I apply some ACL rights on a page under "Encyclopédie" and next I apply
different ACL right with "Rights: Page & Children" on "Encyclopédie"? Rights
of children page are removed?

To conclude, do you know which ACL I must apply to have same rights thant xwiki
7.0.1?
(I must apply ACL right on ALL first level space?)

Thxs for any help.

No I launch only one xwiki with this JVM.
On same server there are another xwiki 6 but with another tomcat and another
JVM (/opt/jdk1.8.0_66). I use /opt/jre1.8.0_102

Yes I agree but I passed 2 days to identify that: I change java from 7 to 8 to
crash xwiki.

> >

I launch tomcat with:
JAVA_HOME=/opt/jre1.8.0_102
CATALINA_HOME=/home/opt/apache-tomcat-8.5.4
JAVA_OPTS="-server -Xms1724m -Xmx1724m -Dfile.encoding=utf-8
-Djava.awt.headless=true -XX:+UseParallelGC -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=100
-Dhttp.proxyHost=MyProxy -Dhttp.proxyPort=MyPort"

JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -Dappserver.home=$CATALINA_HOME
-Dappserver.base=$CATALINA_HOME"

and xwiki is on the root on my tomcat server

I confirm I'm far to be an expert on Tomcat

[xwiki-users] Could not use Java8 with xwiki on 7.0.1 (and 8.2.1)

2016-08-30 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hi,

I use xwiki 7.0.1 / tomcat-7.0.47 and I didn't manage to upgrade xwiki to xwiki
8.2.1.
Then I tried to use java8/tomcat-8.5.4 to launch my current xwiki7.0.1 but I
failed with these error message.

To resume, with apache-tomcat-8.5.4 if I use java7, I can use Xwiki 7.0.1 but
if I simply modify bin/catalina.sh with JAVA_HOME=/opt/jre1.8.0_102 xwiki crash
with theses error :-(

Any idea what is the problem?

My tomcat launch only on xwiki (without other xwiki or application) and I
launch tomcat with root account.

Thxs for any help

2016-08-08 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hi,

You can use a SSX object to overwriting CSS instruction:
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/DevGuide/SkinExtensionsTutorial#HMinimalStyleSheeteXtension

On my xwiki I use this extension:
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Numbered+Headings
I modified the SSX object to displaynumbered lists like this:
 A. Item One
   A.1. Sub-Item 1
 A.1.1 Sub-Sub Item 1
If you want I can send you my CSS code.

 the current numbering schema used for numbered lists which
 is in the format:

 A. Item One
   1. Sub-Item 1
     a. Sub-Sub Item 1

 While I can do so manually using the xwiki syntax this is a
 great deal of
 work when dealing with dozens of lists within hundreds of
 policies. In
 addition I would like to make it as easy as possible for
 whomever comes
 after me. I believe that the css code for something like
 this would be
 something along the lines of:

 ol {list-style-type:upper-alpha;}
 ol ol {list-style-type:decimal;}
 ol ol ol {list-style-type:lower-alpha;}

 but I am uncertain as to whether this is the proper method
 of implementing
 this change, and if so am uncertain as to where that code
 would go. Any help
 would be appreciated.

[xwiki-users] 2 bug on WYSIWYG Editor Module

2016-07-18 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hi,

I found 2 differents bugs on WYSIWYG Editor Module.
I copy/paste "Load on demand using velocity macros" example:
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/WYSIWYG+Editor+Module#HLoadondemandusingvelocitymacros

On Xwiki 7.0.1, I load the WYSIWYG Editor, I type some words in WYSIWYG tab, I
underline a word and select source tab => a end of line is inserted before __
charcters. It is the same behavior with strikethrough word.
Any ideas how to fix it?

With Xwiki 8.1, WYSIWYG Editor is loading anymore.

Thxs.

You can use this code:

 You can't
 directly get an XObject from a hql request but you can
 get
 enough information to get the object
 from the document.
 obj.name is indeed the
 name of the page, you already know the class
 name so what is missing for you is the
 obj.number.

 Then you can
 do

 $xwiki.getDocument($name).getObject($classs.name,
 $number)

[xwiki-users] force edit inline and redirect

I try to redirect to another page users when they edit a page...

Then I use this velocity code in my origin page:

#if ($xcontext.action=='edit')
  $response.sendRedirect($xwiki.getURL('MySpace.MaTargetPage', 'edit'))
  #stop

Redirect (to MyOriginPage in edit mode) working well if user open MyOriginPage
in inline mode:
aka /bin/edit/MySpace/MyOriginPage?editor=inline

But my users are "simple user" then I try to force inline mode when they click
on 'Edit'

What I tested is: add an XWiki.SheetClass object to "MyOriginPage" with
"Default Edit Mode"=inline ...
but I have a very strange behaviour: it's working only for "Admin" user :-(

With simple user, when I 'Edit' my Page, I obtain target Page with all xwiki

[xwiki-users] bootstrap and multiselect list + add livetable feature

2016-05-27 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,

With livetable on top of column we can use select list to choose one value to
filter our table.

I use 'resultPage' option to use a custom query and I try to add a multiselect
list to filter data with OR condition.

On top of column I wanted a multiselect list like this one:
 http://davidstutz.github.io/bootstrap-multiselect/#further-examples
but I have difficult to make it work (probably because prototype vs jquery).

I can add some option in my list (I modify ./skins/flamingo/macros.vm) but I
didn't manage to display my multiselect list.

Do you have a js recommanded framework to use a multiselect list? It seem
bootstrap don't have this kind of list.

Thxs.

Hello,

You can use a stylesheetextension object + CSS instruction (and firebug to
identify id/class elements to modify)

 I have been looking around for this
 but coming up blank. Can anyone point me in the right
 direction as to how you change the default text styles? I am
 just looking to tweak the header and body font sizes and
 font family across the entire wiki. I don’t want to change
 the text for other elements like the drawer, buttons, panels
 etc.

 Thanks for any information that you can provide.

Sure :-) I must read json data from another web site to display it on
myxwiki.org web site.
This one:
https://set7z18fgf.execute-api.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/prod/?route=getClanDetails=%23L9CGQYC
but myxwiki.org log show a certificate problem when i use $xwiki.getURLContent
API
(In fact https://api.clashofclans.com/v1/clans/%23L9CGQYC?Authorization=Bearer
xx  with Bearer authentication)

Then my solution, is to add a local cron to:
- wget my json data from https://set7z18fgf.execute-api.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/
- use curl to upload json data in a page of myxwiki.org with RESTful api
This page will be update periodicaly (1 or 2 time per week or less), then I
need to wipe history of this updated page.

I tested on my developpment server on ou intranet (through our proxy):
$xwiki.getURLContent('https://set7z18fgf.execute-api.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/prod/?route=getClanDetails=%23L9CGQYC')
 working.

Do you need my log to make it working on myxwiki.org? If yes which one?

[xwiki-users] getURLContent problem

2016-01-23 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hi,

This URL
https://set7z18fgf.execute-api.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/prod/?route=getClanDetails=%23L9CGQYC
 returns json text but from myxwiki.org this velocity code didn't display json
data...

$xwiki.getURLContent('https://set7z18fgf.execute-api.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/prod/?route=getClanDetails=%23L9CGQYC')

Could you tell me if the internet domain is forbidden from myxwiki.org?
May be I must escape some characters?

Thxs for your help.

A form to choose and delete manually some event from Activity Stream:
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/CleanActivityStream
Bon appetit then!

BTW, in inline mode of extension page the link "Extension Compatibility Object"
from <> doesn't work.
We must add manually ExtensionCode.ExtensionCompatibilityClass object at the
extension page.

 Hi,

 This is the activitystream hibernate
 mapping where you can see the exact property names:

https://github.com/xwiki/xwiki-platform/blob/master/xwiki-platform-core/xwiki-platform-activitystream/xwiki-platform-activitystream-api/src/main/resources/activitystream.hbm.xml

 ...and this is the
 regular XWiki model mapping (corresponding to the other
 tables observed in
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/DevGuide/DatabaseSchema
 )

https://github.com/xwiki/xwiki-platform/blob/master/xwiki-platform-core/xwiki-platform-oldcore/src/main/resources/xwiki.hbm.xml

 Remember that, when
 writing HQL, you need to look at the hibernate mapping, not
 just the SQL database schema (which is useful, but can be
 misleading).

 Thanks,
 Eduard

Yes I know that and delete some event with API :-)
My problem is the way to give some selected event object through a form with
$request.getParameterValues() to delete these events.

I didn't found it either Scheduler.ActivityStreamCleaner is empty and anyway I
suppose it is groovy code (look into xar source if needed).

Anyway I found table and field to use an hql query here:
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/DevGuide/DatabaseSchema (I must use a
ggogle glass+zoom to see field ;-) )
but my query with $services.query.hql($hql).execute() doesn't work with table
name (rg.hibernate.hql.ast.QuerySyntaxException: activitystream_events is not
mapped ).
Then I tested with simple query:
SELECT doc.XWD_TITLE FROM xwikidoc AS doc WHERE doc.XWD_FULLNAME =
'Main.WebHome'
didn't work => Caused by: org.hibernate.hql.ast.QuerySyntaxException: xwikidoc
is not mapped [select doc.XWD_TITLE FROM xwikidoc AS doc WHERE doc.XWD_FULLNAME
= 'Main.WebHome']
SELECT doc.title FROM XWikiDocument AS doc WHERE doc.fullName = 'Main.WebHome'
working fine
With velocity+API we can not use hql query with true field/table name?
If we can not then where I can found field/table mapping name for
activitystream_events table?

2016-01-19 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Ok thxs guys
I didn't understood why my $xwiki.activitystream.searchEvents doesn't work with
eventid...

I'm starting to begin some help and copy/paste
Doc http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/DevGuide/DatabaseSchema indicate:
"In a hibernate query you can use the same name as the get method but without
the get and with the first letter lowercase so the SQL query"

I drink a strong coffe and read ... WITH THE FIRST LETTER LOWERCASE!

Then I replace my EventId by eventId to fix my ugly code (because public String
getEventId()):
#set($results= $xwiki.activitystream.searchEvents("act.eventId='$MyValue'",
false, 0, 0))
and tad!
it's working thxs a lot.
I will post my form here later when it will be ready if you want it. :-)

[xwiki-users] How can I get event object through a form

2016-01-18 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hi,

I try to make an Admin form to delete some event from activity stream.
I manage:
- to list events in a checkbox list
- to delete an event
#foreach ($MonEvent in $xwiki.activitystream.getEventsForUser($MyUserr, false,
300, 0))
  #if ($MonEvent.getPage()=='MySpace.MyPage')
* event deletion
$xwiki.activitystream.deleteActivityEvent($MonEvent)
  #end
#end
- but I didn't manage to pass an event id/object with form to my
deleteActivityEvent method :-(

It doesn't work because when I get my event through
$request.getParameterValues('IdEntry'), event ID is transformed in text and is
not event object anymore.

I use velocity with xwiki 7.0.1 and my page contains this code:

**
{{velocity}}
{{html}}
## My form to select events to delete

  #foreach ($MonEvent in $xwiki.activitystream.getEvents(false, 200, 0 ))
##1. AAA $MonEvent - $MonEvent.getPage()
#set($MycheckBox="" + "$MonEvent.getPage() -
$MonEvent.getDisplayDate() - $MonEvent.getType() - $MonEvent.getPriority() -
$MonEvent.getUser() - $MonEvent.getEventId() - $MonEvent.getEvent() " + "")
$MycheckBox
  #end
  ##This is
checkbox

{{/html}}

## get select events ID
$request.getParameterValues('IdEntry')

## i want to delete these ID
#foreach ($MyValue in $request.getParameterValues('IdEntry'))
  * try to delete this event with ID: $MyValue $MyValue.getPage()
  ## $MyValue.getPage() it doesn't work because $MyValue is not event anymore
  ## delete event method
  :-(
#end
**

To resume, do you have a way to give an event object to my deleteActivityEvent
with form+velocity (because deleteActivityEvent accept only event object) ?

Thxs

That is what I was affraid of ... hql query. I though there was a simplier way
like xcontext stuff or convert id in event object ;-)
Thxs I will give a try (must found id field and table)
