Kay, That was me about the outside temp and humidity. It uses your location
and gets the weather from a standard weather source, not sure which one. The
thermostat has a humidity sensor. Now, it could be the AC unit we have has
an outdoor sensor, I'm not sure.
The thermostat we got is the Honeywell 9320 WF5003/U.
The WF indicates WiFi.
They make several models. So if it says, Smart WiFi, or has the letters RTH
at the beginning it might work with the app.
The Voice Control is through the app, not on the device itself.
Also, the model we got, according to the installer from the furnace company,
can only be bought by a business. Honeywell also makes a model 9310, which
might be just like it, but one a consumer can purchase themselves.
I think it is worth a little extra to have someone from a company install
it. This company charges basically their cost, but that is more because they
were installing a new AC system.
It was $195 for the thermostat.
HTH,
Richard

Okay guys I did a search for:
Honeywell Smart WIFI Thermostat with Voice

tempreture and humidity questions, it gives you both the inside and outside

Since your thermostat has a Mac address, you can control it from

The app is fabulous. But, you need sighted assistance to create
the account.

I will be writing Honeywell a detailed letter about this.

Hi when using Jaws 18 with that site.

Turn the virtual PC curser off and then try the page.

You will have to use the tab key but it does work then.

I have tried it and it does work doing it that way.

RE: Honeywell WiFi thermostat issue with web site

2017-08-10 Thread Casey
Hi I just did it with Jaws 18 also.
What I did was.
When the page loaded.
I then used the Jaws key z and turn off the virtual PC courser that jaws has.
Then then I was able to see the united states or Canada like everyone else.
And I hit enter on united states and got A page to enter A password and stuff
like if I had an account with them.
So it does work with Jaws 18 also.

I apologize... I misspoke when I said click on the heading... my fault. The
good part is... once you sellect the region... you do not have to do it again.
After sellecting your region everything seems accessible.

RE: Honeywell WiFi thermostat issue with web site

2017-08-10 Thread Ekstrand, Pamela A. -ND
Yolanda,

What browser and version were you able to get this to work with? Pressing
enter or spacebar on please select your region did nothing for me in Chrome,
FireFox or IE.

Also, what version of Windows are you running?

Just curious as I was having no luck either.

The Honeywell thermostat itself with the app is completely accessible. The web
site where you have to create an account is not accessible.
The app works great and it has a voice command feature in the app that you can
tap the microphone button and say things like turn heat up 2 degrees, what is
the tempreture, or what is the humidity. With both the tempreture and humidity
questions, it gives you both the inside and outside amounts.

Since your thermostat has a Mac address, you can control it from anywhere that
you have WiFi.
The app is fabulous. But, you need sighted assistance to create the account.
I will be writing Honeywell a detailed letter about this.

I wonder if they changed the site. I’ve been using computers for over 30
