Alternator rating = rotor speed, not engine RPM. Crankshaft pulley to alternator pulley ratio is usually like 3:1. So 2k engine RPM = 6k alternator RPM = max power. Probably varies by model/mfg. Yeah, idle is usually gonna be a little bit less. A high-output alternator is the better choice. You

I recently installed some Lennox systems in our new home. They are two-stage so they are super efficient and quiet, and they run at a max of 12Amps. One is a dual zone system, and the other is not. I am not sure how the integration works on the dual zone system, as that particular unit is not up

I take it back, it is actually a 17" dish (L-Com HG2418DPD) that they rate at 18 dBi. On strict numbers, the best sectors I've found are in the 17-17.5 dBi range, so I just stopped looking. I'll check again. This is a steeple with minimal visibility allowed, but I may be able to put a yagi inside

If the power supplies have isolated outputs, you should be able to "stack" them in series to get more volts (as in the case you're looking at, two 24V in series will get you 48V). Parallel hookup CAN get you more amps, but the power supplies can buck each other if they are not designed for it.
