Hello Fellow Apple Growers:
I understand that this may be a foolish question given this year's weather
in the Eastern U.S.; but does anyone know of anyone with extra large
wholesale pumpkins for sale? We have the ability to truck from far away if
necessary and we are looking for a couple of tr
Hello Again,
We are looking for extra pumpkins.medium and large face pumpkins..as opposed

Fellow Growers,
As the General Manager of our family owned farm it is extremely rare that I
find myself on the tractor seat any longer. I spend my day insuring that
all of the components of our business are running properly and moreover,
that we are in compliance with a myriad of regulations,

Only in a site like this can we start with an article suggesting that fruit

My wife and I have three children so I guess that we have added to the

Back to farming now.

To Jim Bittner's quote I say AMEN! Yet, also like Jim we are finalizing our
organic certification on 8 acres of fruits and vegetables. Many "gullible

Hello Fellow Growers,
We are doing the same thing as Jim Bittner.everything applied on a per acre
basis using 50 gallons per acres except for 100 gallons for the thinners and
oil. We have all high density plantings and have had very satisfactory
results.

Hello David,
The DEP is out of control...and the former head Lisa Jackson is now head of
the EPA under Obama...so you know where the EPA is heading. The NJ DEP is
out of control and intrudes more and more into our daily personal and
business lives. I am convinced that we have to force a change i
Hello Matt,
A respected greenhouse grower in our area told me a long time ago..."Nickle

Hello Annette,
We had cockroaches in one of our labor housing units and were able to very
easily clean them up with the use of our local pest exterminator. We have
found it preferable to use a licensed exterminator so that the liability

Fellow Growers,
Isn't Al Gore the new weather expert? Perhaps he could share his keen
insight on the greater occurrence of hail in New England.
On the serious side, when I am faced with some hard trouble I always remind

Growers,
Does anyone else disdain the word "sustainable" as much as I do? Setting
aside the USDA definition, I cannot help but have a minds eye image of being

I think that Steve's conclusion about the gullibility of consumers is a
