This might not be an issue with any particular mirror. I've seen broken tcp connections on the pinebook pro before. Its especially noticable with the "ftp" tool, but i belilieve i've seen it with longer running ssh too. It might be a problem of the bwfm(4). If you can, try the install with some

Are you using ftp to download the file? You may have better luck with another utility, eg wget and got (https://github.com/melbahja/got) both work fine for me on PinebookPro using Manjaro linux. If that doesn't work I would try connecting via another network, eg library or cafe wifi rather

I did have an OS on the installed eMMC. I tried as you suggested without eMMC and also with an "empty" eMMC where I flashed u-boot on it. Both attempts gave me the same result: Booting /efi\boot\bootaa64.efi And the booting process halts. Should de dtb also be on the eMMC ? How come it
