Unfortunately, it is not just this version. It has been getting
progressively worse with each version since Remedy was bought by Peregrine.

application, you should be aware of an error in the installation guide.
The installation guide (page 43) suggests putting the server into admin only
mode to install the application faster. If you follow this Tip, the

CMDB only took an our or so to install. It was Incident that took 6 to 9
hours to install.
I will be curious if modifying threads makes a difference though.

You need at least 4 threads for fast and list servers. This is true for any of the CMDB installations (CMDB 1.1 will 'crash' if you don't have enough threads running.)

Sometimes it does, sometimes it does not. I would not recommend putting the server in development mode to do a data load up.

Application: fnp system, and I see an error with an ARERR 91 and that it
couldnt load a specific def file.

What arserver os/db platform are installing on? I had a similar slowdown
with Win2003 with a remote Oracle 10g db. The fnd portion did take
forever to load
