It's not a yes or a no because the question isn't a yes or no question.
The question seemed pretty clear and simple: Does RoD support the AR
System DSO feature?
Potential answers: Yes, no.
Personally, I think the answer is no, and I can appreciate why it would
seem odd to use a replication

instance. I know we could use web services. However, i am trying to
evaluate other options as well like DSO.
