Muddle was a rather simple client that came with the mordor mud. I liked it simply because it was simple, had all the required features, and was so small that it didn't hardly even take up any space.  Lately though, I've been unable to get it working on a 64-bit version of linux, so I need to

What the hecek is tintin alter aeon? I never heard of it.  As far as I know, tintin doesn't support MSP, and I've been using it for years.  Of course, I've also been using muddle for years too, and my first experience with MSP was when I hacked muddle to add the MSP protocol, since it doesn't

I'm confused.  Alter Aeon does most certainly support MSP.  What do you mean that it wasn't implemented? If you're saying it wasn't implemented until after mushZ came out, I can't comment on that, since I have no idea when mushZ came out, or when alter aeon installed the sounds used for MSP,

Yeah, but you’d have to put them into the app, and define text to play with them. > On Jun 15, 2018, at 7:25 PM, michael barnes wrote: > > Is there a way to get sounds for that app? >> On Jun 15, 2018, at 7:31 PM, Devin Prater wrote: >> >> Sorry, MudRammer doesn’t support MSP. >> >>> On

Yes, the protocol existed before Mush-Z. That was never up for debate. Msp was not implemented on Alter Aeon, however, and that was my point. The built-in sounds have a huge amount of variety, but having tried them out, I found they couldn't provide the depth or amount of detail that mush-z

Yes, for the most part. There are some additional sounds, but from my limited testing, tintin-alteraeon is heavily based on msp. -- From: "Devin Prater" Sent: Friday, June 15, 2018 14:26 To: Subject: Re: [blind-gamers] Help with muds. Is MSP

I'm pretty sure MSP was out way before mushZ existed.  It's been around for many years, mushZ has too, but I'd be willing to wager MSP existed before mushZ. Doing a quick search on the MSP protocol, I find the documentation explaining how it works, and at the end of the file, it says it was

That would make sense. When I've seen MSp used in the past, even in games that have a fair amount of Msp like classic six dragons, it has indeed been more of an added luxury than something to convey specific information, indeed games like Materiamagica are largely silent and just have the odd
