I have the AKO-14901NTC thermocouple and need to install it. I’m not very mechanical and don’t know how to release or insert the wires from the thermocouple into part number AKO-13120/01. Any help would be appreciated. I want my Brewtus up and running again. Thanks, Sherry -- You received

I had exactly the same problem yesterday. The solution for me was to reset the temperature sensor on the brew boiler. There's a small red button on top of the sensor for resetting. A cheap and easy solution to try first! Op zaterdag 1 januari 2011 15:04:50 UTC+1 schreef TWG het volgende:

E1 code on the AKO-13120/01 PID thermostat means either a shorted or an open circuit in the temp sensor on the brew boiler, so it has nothing to do with the pressure stat, which is on the steam boiler anyways. Since you were still getting hot water out of your brew boiler, your sensor likely

You are likely getting luke warm water because the brew boiler water is pre-heated in the steam boiler on its way to the brew boiler. I'm betting that your temp sensor is bad. The temp sensor is a thermocouple that simply inserts into the thermocouple well on the brew boiler, so no need to get a
