I don't know of a way to get it to have the application natively write
to the windows event log. But you could write a simple VBS file that
reads in the log files from CF and then posts the information into the
windows event log using the LogEvent method in WSH.

There may be a "max registry size" setting in the System part of the
control panel (near where the pagefile size is set). Not sure if that'll
help you though... 217 MB is freaking huge for a registry, and I don't
think I've ever been able to get one to shrink before. Good luck.

In this case, CF will think you are closing moo, not zoo. In this case, you
will have to use syntax.

The best I've found is the NTSysAdmin list at Sunbelt Software. Positively
reeks with IT types. (Whether that's good or bad is your call.) Some

The "default install" of Windows Server 2003 is much safer

but the product is pretty sweet. I don't think that you'll go wrong by
adopting it early.

Personally I'd wait for SP1 before even thinking about it. However, if
I had some wiggle room (meaning huge client wasn't going to kill me if
the server had a few hiccups), and upgrading to 2003 in 6 months or so
didn't look likely...it might be worth it to bite the bullet now
rather than be stuck

Had the same choice last week and went for 2003, MX doesn't have any
isues installing on either.
We went for 2003 as it's supposedly more stable/secure and is likley to
be supported longer.
