Well, I tried it my lab. switchport trunk allowed vlan has no impact on CDP, VTP, LACP, STP etc. They are still sent in vlan 1 even if it is not allowed on trunk.

On a side note for this topic, I had thisexact same problemwith a Cisco 2811 router running adv security 15.1(3)T1. CPU usage when up 15 percent on average, so I dropped back to 12.4.
