I took a different approach on the transom.
Sanded the transom then applied blue vinyl. From local sign company . Then i
was able to apply vinyl graphics onto that. No adhesive used

I'd make sure Awl-Grip is roller friendly. I think spraying is recommended.
I just did my bimini with 2 part Epiphanes. Sets up quickly, comes out smooth,
hard and shiny. You need to do small areas and tip as soon

My flag blue transom on my 40 is pretty bad too. After good luck with
repainting the boot stripe and my Dyer Dhow I decided to strip the transom
and DIY repaint with Awlgrip. Apparently Awlgrip is roller/brush friendly.

Yes, people on this list have very different opinions about PoliGlow - my
experience has been favorable. I’ve been using it every spring since buying
Cat's Paw (bright red hull) in 2009 with good results. If there is a haze
anywhere, Poliglow does
it.

No, it's a polymer. And I don't claim to understand the difference between a
wax and a polymer, but it's supposed to be better
There is one way to compare different techniques and products and I would
be willing to sacrifice my deck to a side by side comparison. Everyone side
by side this Saturday. I will judge and not interfere with technique.
