I agree that the color of the feather bases in the photo is consistent with
the pale gray of Common Raven rather than the bright shining white of
Chihuahuan. The bill shape, nasal bristle length, and vocalizations are all
consistent with Common Raven as well.

MacGillivray's Warbler, two Lewis's Woodpeckers, and at least 44 (!!)
Hermit Thrushes. A late Broad-winged Hawk soared southward.
Fentress Lake just north of Boulder had hundreds of ducks, though nothing
rare.

Hi all,
This morning, an active flock of migrants at the west end of the Cottonwood
Marsh boardwalk at Walden Ponds included a first-winter female
Chestnut-sided Warbler, as well as a Green-tailed Towhee and a bunch of
other more common species. The snipe count at the marsh was 88.

an adult singing persistently there on 5/10 and 5/30, and found the adult
tending a brown streaky juvenile on 6/15.
Looks like Andy Belt reported a Gray-headed Junco at Rocky Mountain Arsenal
on 6/19, too.

Just to remind everybody: female orioles sing frequently. So do female
cardinals and grosbeaks. In fact, females sing at least rarely in most
passerine species. So beware of assuming that a bird is a male just because
it's singing!

Cemetery in Boulder just now. Detected by song, well seen, audio recorded.

photos. The bird was mostly hanging out around the mouth of parking lot
#416. I rather doubt it will be around in the morning, but I'll keep an eye
out and post if I see it again.
