I can confirm the behaviour reported on x86_64 and x86 versions of
Mageia and Mandriva, with different LibreOffice versions up to 4.0 pre-releases,
under different desktops (xfce and lxde):
a) With the option
LibreOffice = General - Open/Save dialogs - [X] Use LibreOffice dialogs
activated,
Initially I was the person who reported this bug. So I would like to
confirm xorg.conf which attached by intel (dts-dreamer) works for me as
a workaround. Now I can use 1920x1080 resolution in my VMware
Workstation 9 with Ubuntu 12.10.

Probably but I'm not sure 'caus without xorg.conf keyboard map is wrong
too. Currently I workarounded it with a 'display-setup-script=setxkbmap
fr' in the lightdm.conf file.

I had the same problem on Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS 64bits. I left my computer
running during the week-end (with 4 programs running with 100Mio usage
each) and I ended up with nautilus eating 3 Gio RAM. It was the limit of
my RAM and I was lucky enough to have enough responsiveness when I came
back to
Running Precise within MGA G200eW (Dell R210 II) seems affected by this issue,
running either with mga driver or VESA.
nomodeset option doesn't seems to affect the described issue, for which I've
