The first symptom of a problem was the SB mac address was scrambled a few months ago. For some reason the units firmware lost the mac address for itself. Support helped me reprogram the mac address. Next the remote became increasingly unresponsive, but in a way like the batteries were dying.

Thanks for the quick reply. You should add that in order to benefit from the SSID broadcasting, you should uncheck the Connect even if this network is not broadcasting option for this network on Windows clients. Otherwise, the Windows clients will still be vulnerable to the KARMA attack. Maybe

Yes, SqueezeNetwork is currently not supported. It's planned to be and there should at least be some support to move players between SC and SN but I'm not completely sure where on the roadmap it will sit. This has some implications on th NowPlaying screen (1.2) as well as some new interfaces I'm
