Ok,it's a ninstallation module, I do not have c style din rails in my
apartment I can get Phoenix 24vdc supply or similar for free I have
boxes of them at work :)
But it have to be installed permanently and it seem to fit in a standard
casing for din mounted mcb's or you need a box of some kind

People with Squeezebox 3 have reported broken output capacitors , with
this symptom .

The SB2 or SB3 have digital outputs , so conections to a DAC or a
Digitla in on a reciever would work fine .

3483 is a broadcast it announces the server to any player at the same
network so it automatically finds servers ( LMS )

+1 in most modern equipment the music is going to be processed anyway by
room eq or subwoofer fillters etc or by digital crossovers
