The SSID and MAC may add additional security, but by themselves they
are not adequate. you do need the WPA encryption.

the cost of shipment to the US to the repair costs, my
Squeezebox is a total loss. It is cheaper to buy a new one.
Surely, sending some components and a set of technical diagrams should
enable the local Logitech technical staff to repair these units?

I have something similar in FireFox. When I double click the tray icon I
get the error message. I have saved the url in my favourites, and have
no problems..

If random play is off, the slimserver will feed the tracks by track
number.
Would you by any chance have the Random play activated? (easy to check
in SlimServer player area, or by pressing random on the remote, to see
the messages on the display).

I use Lazy Search to find my music. If you are going to make a custom
search, I hope it would complement the Lazy Search. Extra elements I
would like to see is similar artists in my library (lastFM?) or a
similar mood (musicmagicip).

The same symptoms occur if you play APE files with Cue sheets, and that
is a known issue. If you are playing APE files with CUE sheets, you may
have to convert the file into something else.

I have exactly the same problem. I have upgraded to 6.5.1, but it did
not solve the issue.
It affects both internet radio and podcasts.
The error mentions a not well formed (invalid token) at line 1 column
6... of /perl/... parser.pm
Should I replace the parser.pm file?

Hi there,
I have around 1100 albums, and the slim.exe process takes only 14.812K
(SlimServer 6.5 on WinXP)
The ibdata1 file is 92.160K (I assume this is the SlimServer Cache
file, it is located under SlimServer\Server\Cache\MySQL\)

found that the MAC authentication failed. Looking at
the MAC address of the player, I found that it had changed.
I was under the impression that a MAC address was factory set for each
network card. How can it be changed? Is this a sign of a dying SB
